“Of course, Paige. And…you can just call me Azzi. Professor Fudd makes me feel old.” Her voice gets a little quieter near the end of her sentence. She’s still smiling softly at Paige as she says it. Her hands move back to the center of the desk. She starts messing with another binder.
Paige feels insane. Really, truly insane, the type that gets people institutionalized. First name basis with her cool, beautiful professor. Awesome. Paige can play this cool.
paige and azzi both are at uconn, but there's a catch: paige is a student and azzi is her math professor. paige starts going in for help and realizes she likes her a little more than she should her teacher. they get closer and paige learns that azzi might not feel much differently.
