Summary
She settles on the spot next to Minjeong and meets her gaze for the first time in weeks before speaking, worry evident in her tone, “I’m sorry, I know I should’ve knocked but I heard you crying and I couldn’t just walk away. Tell me what’s wrong, Minjeongie. Maybe unnie can help.”
Minjeong hates it. She hates how caring Jimin is, despite being the reason for her tears.
She forces herself to reply, not entirely trusting herself to not break down mid sentence, “Unnie, am I not loveable enough?”
Jimin’s expression goes rigid before immediately reaching for Minjeong’s face, offence clear in her expression as if Minjeong had personally insulted her.
“Don’t ever say that again, you’re more than loveable, and-“ she pauses before continuing her sentence, a bitter sweet look appearing on her face, “and Jungkook sunbaenim would be more than lucky to love you.”
Feeling the tears pool in her eyes and drip down in her face, Minjeong let’s out strangled sobs, tearing Jimin’s hand away from her face.
“I don’t care about him, I want your love!” Minjeong shouts, voice strained and desperate.
