The words of their classmates didn’t deter Nakamura, who continues to hold one of the octopuses with clear affection. It was kind of… sweet.
Watching as the octopus responded kindly to Nakamura, even gently resting one of its tentacles on his face, Hirose felt his hesitance fade.

- an extremely soft and sweet dance scene between them (I LOVE VASHWOOD DANCING RAHHH), but also with the lingering sense of dread that always follows vashwood yet they still love all the same
- Fluff and pining so good that I kept smiling- one of the fics I picked up right after returning to Trigun from Stargaze, and it definitely added fuel to the fire that is my reawakening vashwood (heh wood) interest :] exactly what I loved about these two yearning goofballs’ dynamics <3
