Summary
After the death of his brother, seventeen-year-old Regulus comes to one conclusion; his brother had killed himself - and he was to follow. Searching for ways to connect with his late brother, Regulus decides to write a memoir in his final months of college in order to leave something behind.
He doesn’t expect his writing skills to capture the attention of his much older, though notably attractive English teacher Mr Potter. Suddenly, a new idea for a book springs to mind. And Regulus knows that he needs to chase this newfound interest to finally make something of his writing. Regulus also doesn’t expect for his teacher to be holding onto something Regulus so desperately wants to grasp at - a future for himself. But he had plans, right? What are morals when you have nothing to live for, anyway? And what happens when he slowly uncovers that maybe Sirius' death wasn't a suicide? He just hopes he doesn’t get caught.

Summary
“Remus is back.” Lily says, finally, on behalf of James.
In another life, Sirius would have laughed. A life where he is mature enough to have handled the strongest senses of his emotions. He would have been able to laugh and crack a joke. In a life alternate to that, he would have simply nodded and dismissed the conversation altogether. He could be accepting. Unfortunately, there is only this life. The life in which he, ungracefully, falls off of his chair.
Right, onto the floor and crashes into the hallway next to the open kitchen.
And when he does - he lands on his back. And when he winces, turning his head, there he is.
Remus is standing awkwardly in their hallway, having just watched Sirius fall arse first into the hallway. Fuck. Fucking hell.

Summary
Sirius knew that he wasn’t considered a good person. As a matter of fact he wasn’t good at anything at all. Not a good son or brother or student or cousin or protector. But the truth was that he tried. He tried so hard, too hard. It hurts when his younger brother keeps pushing him away after they left their parents home and chose to move in together, but if Sirius can’t be good, he wants to find something good to live for.
When they moved to a small town in rural England after escaping their parents, Regulus was determined to ignore his older brother at all costs. What neither expected was for their lives, relationships and friendships to intertwine so deeply they had no choice to face each other and reconcile with how much they had suffered.
