The response he gets is a quick succession of blinks, and a confused head tilt. “Not allowed?”
Minho shuts his eyes, and explains. “Me and my friends have a stupid bet going. None of us are allowed to pop a knot for the whole month.”
Jisung is silent for a moment, eyes quizzical as he searches Minho's face for any hint of a joke. When he finds nothing, he huffs exasperatedly. "You're being serious." A statement, not a question.

Minho doesn't think when he offers Jisung his leather-gloved hand. And Jisung takes it without hesitation, the touch light, for balance and form, but Minho feels the warmth as if it were skin on skin, searing through the leather like flame.
The noise surrounding them rises as soon as Jisung appears, all attention focusing on him.
He's luminous.

Their eyes met, shimmering with unshed tears, silent and helpless.
A strangled sob escaped Jisung’s throat, and he shut his eyes tight against the flood of pain.
“I’m in love with you, Minho. Always have been.”
The confession spilled out, heavy with truth and soaked in agony. Tears poured down his face, unstoppable.
His body shook.
He clenched his eyes tighter.
“And y-you broke my fucking heart.”
Or: After Minho presents as an Alpha, Jisung dreams of presenting as his Omega — but years pass, and it still hasn’t happened. When Jisung discovers Minho spent his rut with another Omega, jealousy and insecurity overwhelm him, triggering his own presentation at the worst possible moment.
