He began heading towards the stairs to help them get ready for the day, only to stub his foot on one of the stray action figures along the way. He cursed to himself quietly.
The day had barely even started, and Katsuki already needed a cigarette.

“Deku,” Mahoro’s dad breathes out, his voice completely stripped of its usual gruff edge.
Once again, all heads whip back to Midoriya-san.

Midoriya-san exhales a shaky breath, a nervous laugh escaping his lips. “Wow. Okay, wow.” He runs a hand through his green curls before looking over at Mahoro. “Remember in the car when you said it would be crazy if your dad and I actually knew each other?”
