Summary
This tale is a direct follow-on to "The Taming of the Sellsword". Because the series has by now gone so far past the point in time in which I'm writing, it is useful to remember where everyone is. After the Purple Wedding, Sansa Stark is missing, along with her husband, and a knight-made-fool. This is still the Stockholm Syndrome Sansa, not the Queen in the North we see today. A vengeful Cersei has taxed her brother Jaime with finding the wolf girl. Unbeknownst to her, he has taken along his trusted aide and secret lover/wife, Brienne, and has a very different mission in mind. Meanwhile, Bronn is looking forward to some easy time with his highborn wife and castle in the Vale.

Summary
The basic outline for this tale exploded in my brain over one feverish holiday weekend. It grew from the conviction that, although the Aragorn/Arwen story was lovely within the mores of the decade in which it was written, it lacked a certain realism. All that ephemeral Elf love was fine for the early part of the 20th century, but I deemed it time for Aragorn to have a 21st century-style romance.
The task I set for myself was to write an alternate romance, something that could slot seamlessly into the canon, minus only Arwen, in terms of timeline and detail. If I had an idea for the story that was contradicted by something in Tolkien, I abandoned it. Where my story diverges from PJ's films, you can be sure I've kept to Tolkien's version of events instead.
I also determined to maintain as near as possible the tone of the Professor's tales. Therefore, you will not find common earthy terms of our day here. It was actually quite challenging to devise euphemistic ways to allude to things that might make J.R.R. turn over in his grave.

Summary
The setting is post-Blackwater, pre-Purple Wedding. Bronn has not been knighted after the battle, and is growing a little bored, sitting around drinking wine with the Master of Coin. He hears of a possible chance at easy money, in the employ of a nearby estate. He rides out to find out more, and discovers something unexpected.
The world is GRRM's, the familiar characters are GRRM's, the fun is mine.

This is a little different twist on the Season 5 episode entitled "The Gift". Tyrion will just have to find a different way to Dany, and Jorah does not have greyscale. Complete as is, just a one-off.

Summary
“Jaime! We’ve got a floater in the Rush!” Addam called him. Jaime blinked as he looked up from his paperwork.
“That’s not unusual.” Jaime said. He knew it was sad. There was a time when he’d have leapt to his feet and run off to solve the murder as quickly as was humanly possible. Now... after several years on the police force, Jaime had become rather jaded.
“It’s been identified as Petyr Baelish.” Addam said. Now this caught Jaime’s attention......
