Glinda chews her lip. She motions toward the deer tea pet, free hand drifting to her cheek, sapping at the all-too-warm heat along her skin. "This one," she says.
"Only that one?" Elphaba tilts her head.
So she did catch Glinda eyeing the bunny and water buffalo too. The matching celadon green of the three simply begs to be an inseparable set. Her mouth lifts in an easy smile. "I need to travel light."
And it's not a lie. It just means that she'll come back.
Elphaba hums and nods. The rich, full-bodied descending whistle she sighs gives Glinda pause, soaking in the sound, hand stilled around her wallet. "Right on. I'll go ahead and ring you up."
Following post-production, Glinda tries to lay low by day and thrill in the nightlife within the city she grew up protecting. That is, until she meets Elphaba, who also seems to be nowhere and everywhere all at once.
