    Ancalagon has been pardoned from the High Heavens. Manwë Súlimo gives the most formidable dragon in all of Arda one last chance to redeem himself in the world of the living - under one condition. The dragon must create an enclave for fellow dragons and ally with Elves and mortals for the sake of mutual aid and growth.

    The cynical Ancalagon reluctantly accepts. That is until a few foolish mortals commit a skirmish against him and his people.

    As repayment, he demands the repercussions come in the form of a slight, human woman he never expects to find in his heart to desire.
