Summary
Omega Evan Buckley thought he finally had life figured out. His sister was back in his life, he had found an incredible job and a pack he belonged with, and he was doing an great job raising his daughter as a single parent. He was truly happy with how his life was going and all he'd sacrificed to get there. Everything changes when the alpha that left him pregnant shows up in Los Angeles. Even crazier, he's working at the 118 right alongside Buck and his pack.
Buck- who thought he would never see the alpha again- is now he's forced to work side by side with him. Even worse, said alpha doesn't remember Buck in the slightest. As the entire 118 grows closer, the secrets of Buck's past are slowly dragged into the light by his pack members, leaving Buck desperate for a way to keep his past with Eddie where it belongs- in the past.
But, with every brush of skin against skin, every quick whiff of the alpha's scent, and every near death experience, Buck feels himself falling more in love with Eddie Diaz, which is a major problem, especially since the alpha is still mated to someone else.

Moving slowly, Buck sits up in bed. Groans. Reaches the heel of his hands to press tenderly against his eyes. Inhales, taking in a deep breath. Exhales. Finally, he’s able to open his eyes, and he draws back his hands.
Then, he realizes.
These are not his hands.
Buck stares, flexing out his fingers - not his fingers. They’re long, slender, a little dainty. The index and middle fingers are home to delicate gold rings. The nails are press-ons, colored dark maroon, and what the actual fuck.
A sound comes from his mouth - not his mouth - and it’s a sweet, womanly squeak. Oh god oh god oh god.
