It’s not the first time Yudai has been roused in the middle of the night by the discomfort of Taki’s hot breath creating condensation in the crook of his neck. Nor is is the second, or the third, or even the fourth, but that’s beyond the point. Taki’s perfectly round face is mushed so far against Yudai’s neck that it’s a wonder he’s able to breathe at all.
