He's been skipping chores and spending a suspicious amount of time on his phone. The ninja have a theory about what exactly is going on with him. Their reactions are... varied, to say the least.
(After all, past experience and a certain princess have taught them to be wary of these kinds of things.)
Cole would very much just rather to keep his family life and his romantic life in two separate universes.

Summary
Usually, when Jay and Cole accidentally split off from the group during one of their missions, they're not worried. Everyone knows that they can easily handle themselves in many dangerous situations. That's the case when they're both healthy.
But what about the cases where one of them is sick or injured, without any way of contacting the others? Cole insists he's fine but fortunately for him, Jay doesn't believe him.

And yet, as they flee the Oni-infested Ninjago City, the last thing they expect to cause the demise of one of their own is a freshly rebuilt lever and a faulty ladder. The loss of Cole is a heavy one, but with the civilians on board, they must keep going.
What none of them know is that Cole doesn't like to give in that easily. Even dead, he knows how to find his way back to the ninja. But what comes back is no longer an old friend — but rather, someone very pissed that his team left him behind…
