Summary
Clark showed up at the lake house in the middle of the night, feverish, out of control, and terrified of hurting someone. He asked Bruce to chain him up to make sure he wasn't a danger to anyone. It didn't occur to him that bringing himself in close proximity to the person he wanted most while his body was going haywire might not have been his best idea.

Summary
It’s probably a good thing Clark’s in private, because when he does check his notifications he almost cracks his phone in half. Bruce has sent him a picture. He’s in the suit, in the Batcave, and there’s probably other things happening in the picture, but Clark can’t really see any of those, because Bruce is– posing? Or maybe the camera just caught him like that; maybe he just happened to be catching his cape one-handed, setting off the sinuous curve of his bicep, the Bat logo straining across his chest.

Bruce sends Clark a pic. Unfortunately, it goes out to some other people too. -

Summary
Clark wants to take Bruce’s hand, but Bruce would see it as pity. He wants to ask, “why didn’t you ask for help, if it was this bad?” But he doesn’t, because he knows the answer. Bruce is fiercely protective of his own independence, resents any intrusion into the territory he considers his own. If the League had tried to help, Bruce would have viewed it as an insult, proof that they didn’t think he could handle it alone.
Bruce is still staring at the far wall.
“Do you really want me to go,” Clark says.
“Please,” Bruce says. And it’s that word, the word that Bruce uses so, so rarely, that sends him out the door.

After Bane breaks Batman's spine, Clark visits Bruce.

Summary
When Clark had had the idea to ask Bruce to trim the back of his hair, it had mostly been as a joke. Make Bruce see how the other half live, force him out of his cowl for about half an hour, spend time with him that isn’t poring over a grisly case file or an interplanetary sector map. He likes spending time with Bruce, but he’d thought Bruce would laugh and blow him off.
Unfortunately, Bruce had said yes, and now he is standing in Clark’s apartment, his neat wool coat folded over one arm.
--
Bruce cuts Clark's hair. Things get out of hand.
