“Jayce.” Viktor’s voice. Not the corrupted inflexion of the Arcane Herald.
It’s a relief to see Viktor’s face again, unobscured by magic. His features are softer than Jayce remembers.
“Jayce,” Viktor says, more urgently this time. It may be the desperation in his voice, but his pitch sounds higher than Jayce remembers. “Something is wrong.”
“What?” Only now does he notice the strain in his own voice, as if speaking in a lower register no longer comes naturally.
The weight of his own body is starting to come back, as is the ever-present throbbing in his broken leg. One question looms heavier than the pain: what just happened to them?
After years of growth, evolution and finding themselves, Jayce and Viktor find themselves in a new realm with... their old bodies?? The Arcane has reversed many of the gender-affirming changes they went through over 7 years of knowing each other. As they adjust to living a new life, they also take steps together to deal with dysphoria

В нём жужжал вентилятор, и в темноте сквозь щели на задней стенке виднелись лиловые отсветы – Виктор говорил, там лично им собранный системный блок, и Джейс даже не думал ставить его слова под сомнение: желание отогнать от настолько дорогой вещи потенциальных воришек в условиях общежития было ему знакомо.
