First review - I'm currently on chapter 10, and I've been reading this fic all day. The author really knows how to hook me because I am very invested in the plot; it is quite unpredictable. I deliberately chose to read this despite its last update being from a decade ago. It will forever be an unfinished story, and I know I will hate myself for investing my time in this, but so far I really love it, so I can't regret it yet. I enjoy how the perspectives are written—how it really contrasts both the lives of Brendon and Ryan in this AU; their circumstances brought them together, yet they can’t properly get along for that same reason. I do enjoy their chemistry as well, and I am very curious as to how their relationship develops from this point on. Also, I did not know ‘rimming’ was a thing, so thank you for enlightening me with this knowledge because that was, in fact, very sexy.
Second review - chapter 10 was absolutely tragic; it made Ryan's character so much more human and relatable, allowing us to empathize with him. I adore the character development in this fic so much, and it makes my heart sting because, the way these people are written, they are so flawed yet you can't blame them at all; their upbringing has caused inevitable damage to their present, and it explains so much. But the dirty public restroom club sex scene was really hot, especially when Brendon unlocked the door, and Ryan was still on his knees, so he was mistaken as the hustler in this case by security. godddd that was soo satisfyingg

Summary
He sees Ryan, and Brendon knows that Ryan would be like one of those t-shirts that's been washed way too many times, so worn-through it's almost translucent, with a few real holes showing through to skin, but soft. Soft and just the perfect fit, clinging to your skin in all the right places.

first chapter was really good, but the rest bored me. I wasn't really feeling the found family trope, the first chapter I loved cause I really felt the effort Brendon put in trying to help Ryan, and how Ryan reciprocated that in the latter. I think that was written perfectly, so thank you for making me emotional
