Chapter Text
Hey, i was doing just fine before i met you.
He wasn't the happiest before you, but had life figured out. He knew where he was going and what it would take.
Hey, tell your friends it was nice to meet them, but i hope i never see them again.
He knew you loved your friends, but they drive him nuts. They were so loud, and talked to much, he would much rather never talk to them again.
And four years, no calls
Now you're looking pretty in a hotel bar
Once you graduated, he just disappeared. He was scared. He had never felt like this about anyone and he didn't know how to tell you he was moving to the states, so he didn't. He just left. Leaving a pretty shitty note behind.
Bite that tattoo on your shoulder
He loved that tattoo you had. It was on the smaller side, and simple, but full of meaning. He loved to nip at it and kiss it lazily. He loved to trace it too, he wanted a tattoo because of you.
I forget just why I left you, I was insane
He should have never left you. He's regretted that decision since he made it, and he would give it all up, just to be with you again. But it was too late, you must have hated him.
You, look as good as the day i met you
He could remember 7 years ago when he first saw you. An innocent face with a mischievous smile that made him weak. Your long hair flowing down your back, and your necklace hanging in the middle of your chest.
Play that Blink-182 song
You had convinced him to listen to American music one of the first times you hung out. He didn't enjoy any of the pop music, but he could get behind some pop punk, and rock/metal if course. But he would listen to anything for you.
Now I'm looking pretty in a hotel bar
He was forced to go to a bar with some of his co workers. He dressed decently, but he honestly couldn't care any less, he just wanted a drink. But, he didn't expect to see you. In a dress that clung to your curves, you looked gorgeous, just like you had when you first met. Your eyes met and you could only stare at each other.
No we ain't ever getting older
He took a shot a decided now was the time to try and make things right, or at least apologize that he should have years ago. It would take everything he had to get you to forgive him, but he would do it all. And he did. Luckily you had agreed to try things again, as long as he wasn't such an idiot, and he swore never to be again. And he wasn't.
