loud beeping….it’s so bright……where am i…?
jake opened his eyes and found himself in a completely white room ,which he assumed was a hospital room. he saw a sleeping figure next to him but he couldn't piece together who it was just yet. he was confused on why he was in the hospital, he tried his hardest to remember and sighed , moving his arms slightly when he caught glimpse of his scars, there were so many and that's when he remembered. he looked at the sleeping figure and gently pat their head which seemed to wake them from their sleep. "jakey..? o-oh my god you're awake!" it was sunghoon, jake's boyfriend, soulmate, other half. "hoonie...i-i'm so sorry i-i don't know w-why-" jake said suddenly but he was cut off by sunghoon suddenly hugging him. "don't be sorry baby..." jake started tearing up and hugged back tightly.
"hoonie will they send me to a mental institution..?" jake asked and played with his fingers, "no baby..they won't okay? i'll take care of you" sunghoon said and placed his hand on jake's. they heard a knock on the door before a doctor walked in. "ah jake, you've woken up now, we're gonna run a few tests then you're set to go home okay?" jake nodded as they led him somewhere to do the tests. after about half an hour, jake came back in his normal clothes. "let's go home now hoonie..?" he said as sunghoon took his hand and nodded. "let's go baby."
the drive home was a quiet but calming one. "how long was i asleep..?" jake asked sunghoon. "oh..about a day or two...you lost a lot of blood baby.." sunghoon said and took jake's hand into his.
