Jujutsu Sorcerers never die without regret.

A screech exploded inside of the room, while glass shattered above your head, slicing your skin as it made contact. The light blew up, darkness closing on the chamber.

The power has gone out.

Small pools of blood coursed out of your arm and gathered to create a small red puddle beneath you. The drips of the crimson liquid hitting the floor irritated you, hoping the bellowing sound moments before had broken your eardrums instead of having to hear this.

The steady pace of the lift came to a stop; grasping your hands onto the cool, metal rail as you lost your balance, tumbling into the mirror covered wall. Your body shivered as it met the cold surface, a light bruise bound to settle on your skin after the events had unfolded. Though, you had been through much worse, due to the countless missions Gojo had sent you on.

“Fuck Gojo and his stupid ass ‘holidays’,”

You muttered under your breath, cussing out your ‘teacher’, comprehending he would jokingly take offence before insulting you mercilessly. Although you detested every ounce of him, his high pitched laughter did not fail to make you roll over crying.

If only he could prevent Itadori's execution.

Unleashing the rail from your grasp, a demonic hand merged through the wall, a purple, portal-like material flowing around it.

Inhuman chuckles echoed throughout the darkened room, sending shivers down your spine as the devilish figure revealed itself, creeping out of the warped wall.

A grade 4?

You rolled your eyes, moving into a better stance than standing as though you were perplexed.

Growing tired of the time-wasting curse, you decided to speed things up a bit. You brought your hands together, whispering,

Dimension Distortion Technique: Sight Warp.”

You held your head as your sense of hearing heightened, your eardrums felt like they were going to burst and your vision grew hazy before it became almost normal again. Faint lines appeared in your vision, making the form of a demonic, ogre-like body and a right arm coming at you at unrecognisable speed.

You propelled your hand forward, your left hand gripping onto your wrist, a glass shattering noise fired toward the curse, slicing off the limb that was mere centimetres away from your face. The mirror next to you shattered and littered your exposed face and arm with cuts.

Thick, purple liquid spewed from the open wound, coating the floor in the thick, slippery substance as the curse cried out in pain. More poured out from injury, covering half of the animalistic creature in its blood. The arm landed on the floor making a light banging noise. As it hit the floor, the arm still moved before it stopped still and lifeless. The arm disappeared into the air, along with the purple coated floor, a new limb growing on the monster in its place.

The creature stood shocked but its face contorted into an eye blistering grin, enjoying the show in front of it. It seemed unfazed by the amputation, reaching out its clawed left hand towards your throat.

You ducked and kicked the beast in its abdomen as you morphed the creature’s echoing chuckle into high-frequency sound waves, projecting them towards the stumbling figure in front of you, slicing its head clean off.

Its body fell to the floor, the loud bang of collision hurting your eardrums, reminding you to turn back to your normal state. A waterwork of blood squirted from its opened neck, covering your shoes with the slimy liquid. The contorted head cascaded along the floor and its once vicious eyes rolled to the back of its decapitated head, an unpleasant sight for your eyes to witness before it disintegrated into the air along with the rest of the corpse.

“I don’t even know if I can get out of here without Fushiguro’s help,”

You chuckled, blasting open the top of the lift.

-

Megumi heaved, pursuing his dogs, who were running in the direction of (Y/n)’s ear destroying blasts.

They stopped in front of the lift shaft, yowling at the closed door as he skidded to a halt.

“A little help would be nice,”

(Y/n) shouted from beneath him, after she heard the uncontrollable barking. He could hear her mocking smile laced in her tone as the sound reached him.

Megumi rolled his eyes, using his cursed energy to rip open the lift doors before summoning Nue to dive down and retrieve her.

The orange ‘bird’ had slight trouble flying down to retrieve (Y/n) due to its large wingspan. It curled its wings close to its body, tumbling town close to her as she stood still, admiring the cursed energy that was about to squash her. Instead, it opened its limbs at the last second, piercing (Y/n)’s uniform material that was on her shoulder as it grabbed her with its keen claws.

“Thank you, Nue,”

The girl said stroking the bird’s feathered body as its talons released her shoulders and dropped her feet onto the navy carpet with a light thump,

“Where’s Itadori and Kugisaki?”

(Y/n) turned to the dark-haired male, eyeing him suspiciously at his lack of other human presence. But he only shrugged in response.

“I don’t know, we split u-”

“What?! Didn’t Gojo specifically tell us not to split up?!”

She bellowed at Megumi beside her, hitting his shoulder as she began to walk in the direction of the exit.

“Get your sorry ass over here, we’re going to find him before he gets himself killed. Again .”

The girl facepalmed, looking at her companion stood in the middle of the room,

“Do I have to tell you twice or do you want me to drag you by your ear?! Can your dogs sniff him out?”

“Yeah. Demon Dogs, find Yuuji Itadori and Nobara kugisaki,”

He appointed his dogs to search for them as they sat around his feet.

“See? My intuition never lies,”

She tapped her head, referring to the animals that had just run past her in the direction she was headed, smiling smugly to the other sorcerer before sprinting out of the room.

“Shut up,”

Megumi sighed as he began chasing her silhouette down the dark hallways.

-

“Itadori~”

(Y/n) started chanting their names,

“Kugisaki~”

Shut up,

Megumi slammed his hand over her mouth,

“Or do you want to get killed as well?”

The girl’s features tugged downwards, glaring at the male keeping her mouth shut.

“Well, how else are we supposed to find them when your dogs couldn’t?”

Her voice came out muffled, while she tugged on Megumi’s hand sealed over her mouth.

“Hm? I can’t hear you?”

Megumi smirked, while (Y/n) sent him a look that could kill.

Before he could realise, she sent a kick to his abdomen, successfully making him release her mouth as he hunched over in pain.

“What the hell was that for?!”

“Don’t ask the obvious. Maybe your dogs can’t find them because they were teleported elsewhere, they should pick back up on the scent soon,”

She thought out loud, helping the poor boy off the ground, who was recovering from the fatal blow.

“You sound like you know more about my technique than me,”

He rolled his eyes as the walls shifted, following his creations out of the room.

-

“Itadori~”

You began chanting once again, purposefully trying to tick off Megumi,

“Kugisaki~”

“Don’t start that again,”

Megumi facepalmed, stretching the skin on his face as he dragged his hand down it.

“You need to learn to relax, Fushiguro,”

You chuckled at him, his irritated composure humouring you.

“Weren’t you the one that was worried our friends were going to die earlier?”

“You take everything so seriously, take my previous words into account. Learn to live a little.”

You shrugged him off, activating your technique as the dogs had once again reached another dead end. With a blurred vision, you controlled your shaking legs, focusing on listening to your lost friends.

“You’re the one that-”

Megumi started before he was cut off from your voice fueled with displeasure,

“Could you not start talking when my hearing is like a fucking satellite dish? I feel like my ears are going to explode. So, please, respectfully shut up?

Moments passed as the duo stood in silence, along with the background noise of the ‘untame’ dogs.

You paused, your eyes widening as your ears picked up the sound of a wall breaking from the force of something being propelled into it, fast.

“Two floors down, a large room filled with water beneath us. I advise you to get Nue at the ready.”

You channelled the noises around you, clustering them into a threatening blow you aimed at the concrete beneath you.

The sound destroyed your ears as your bodies began tumbling toward the ice-cold water beneath you. Air rushed past your face and just as you were about to come into contact with the liquid secured in the darkroom, talons grabbed your clothes, taking all of the air out of your lungs.

You were dropped into the shallow water, coughing out your lung capacity and rapidly intaking more.

“W-why the h- hell did you do th-that?!”

Megumi shouted at your recovering body, shaking it with the little strength he had.

He refrained from slapping you across the face once he saw your blinding grin and how you put your thumbs up at him, cheesily.

“Thought you were going to let us die for a second there, you never fail to scare me. Though, was that an incomplete domain expansion up there? I’m surprised I could even break the floor,”

You mumbled to yourself, pushing off the ground. Your uniform dripped with water, as you wrung out your sleeves.

As you were about to fire out another blow, Megumi stopped you,

“Why are you doing another one?!”

“Didn’t I say they were two floors below?”

You challenged him, smirking as he glared through your soul.

Megumi sighed,

“Why are you so impulsive all of the time?”

“Live fast, die young. You know? I’ve planned this out anyway, so the 'die young' doesn’t matter as of now. No need to worry your ass off.”

With that, another explosion erupted from your hand, destroying the foundation beneath you. The thick layer of stone crumbled around you, large chunks falling into the deeper pool of liquid you were flying towards.

“Next time, give me some warning before you do mental shit again?!”

His voice faded around you as the wind whirred past your ears.

“Gotcha! Don’t be so moody, though. Ruins the mood,”

You groaned at Megumi, trying to annoy him even as death flashed before your eyes.

Once more, a death grip sure to ruin your uniform saved you but was the cause of you retching out your stomach into the lake underneath you.

Your eyes watered as you emptied the contents of your stomach onto the ground, The spiky-haired male wheezing at you, a substitute for laughing whilst having no breath to do so.

“S- shut up, you punk!”

You hollered at him.

“I see Sukuna has influenced you,”

Megumi chuckled, unable to hide the amusement on his usually sombre face at your Sukuna-like vocabulary.

“Make yourself useful and use your dogs to help sniff them out,”

You deadpanned, your face screaming ‘I hate you’ as the dogs led him out of a hallway near where you were slouched.

-

The 10 ft wall beside you collapsed, a glimpse of a human figure crashing into it before your body was snatched away from the target zone, landing in the mouth of an overgrown toad.

“Thanks,”

You thanked him, grimacing at the slimy texture inside of its mouth.

You clambered out, wiping the saliva off your uniform that had gone through a battering, the liquid stuck to your hand, a string forming between the two surfaces. It made your shoes slippery, threatening to make you fall over once you tried to stand up.

Not helpful.

“Itadori?”

You called out his name, remembering the blur of pink hair that tumbled to the floor.

“I-I’m h-here,”

A cough echoed throughout the opened room, blood coating the concrete chunks as he coughed copious amounts from his mouth.

“Fushiguro, go find Kugisaki,”

You ordered, turning your back to Megumi as he rushed out of the room,

“Are you alright?!”

Your worry-stricken features danced over the trapped male, rushing to help him.

The rubble was heavier than you thought, the gruelling task taking you a few minutes until Yuuji was free from the chokehold.

You pulled up his weak body, with deep wounds in all different parts. Blood ran down from his forehead, nose and mouth; the gash across his forehead was deep enough to be able to see his skull. Fortunately, it did not look damaged.

His lips trembled as he tried to speak but all that came out was litres of blood.

“Don’t speak, just rest,”

You gave him a weak smile as you saw him fade in and out of consciousness, holding his body close to yours.

Tears slipped from your eyes as you rested your head on his shoulder, his body undoubtedly soaking your uniform in his blood.

“Please don’t let out Sukuna, I don’t want you to d-die,”

Your voice choked out on his body, his arms weakly returning the embrace.

“I’ll try.”

He smiled against your shoulder before his body turned limp.

He’s unconscious, not dead.

With skating legs, you stood up, caring Yuuji’s lifeless body on your shoulder. You hoped Kugisaki was doing better and Megumi had found her, protecting her from the presumed special grade.

You laid his body down in a safer area in the building, pulling out your phone to call for help.

“Come on Gojo, pick up,”

You muttered under your breath, this man was so inconvenient at the wrong times.

The number you ha-”

He’s not answering, what a dumbass.

You stuffed your electronic back into your uniform pocket, glancing at Yuuji. His chest still rose and fell, indicating he was still alive but you couldn’t stop the anxiousness swarming your body.

A frown rested on your face and you got further away from his body, making a mental note of where he was as you ran through the damp corridors. Water dripped from the ceiling, collapsing into the puddles around your feet.

“I hope the other two are okay- wait. Is this a greenhouse?!”

Small amounts of light streamed into the hallway, opening up into a large room with tall green structures stretching out before you. A glass dome encased the room, revealing the dark sky above that was clear of clouds. Flowing water ran between the ‘exhibits’, the stream’s rushing water echoing throughout the room.

“You finally showed up.”

“Better late than never, right?”

You turned to the beaten up male beside you, who had just dodged out of the way of the oncoming special grade,

“Where’s Kugisaki?”

“In the corner, she was unconscious when I arrived,”

Megumi turned to you, unease present in his eyes among his battered face.

A green limb slammed onto the floor between the two of you as you leapt out of the way. It screeched at you, its spiked tail fired towards your body, digging into the grey wall as you jumped on top of it moments before it was about to impale you.

“Could you keep this thing busy while I do something? Trust me,”

You shouted at the male, dodging the continuous strikes sent in your direction. One jabbed your shoulder, slicing straight through your flesh and pinning you to the wall behind. The loud rupture of your bone snapping in half as it was damaged alarmed your ears, your right arm going limp. The muscles in your right arm relaxed as you lost manoeuvrability in it. Your nerves screamed as it moved in your skin, icing itself with your blood.

You groaned in pain as the tendril from the snail headed creature, that was submerged in your arm, stopped your blood from leaking out of you.

It looked like something straight out of a horror movie, its different body parts looking to be sewn together as they didn’t correlate with one another - a muscular torso and toned hind legs but its arms were long lengths of flesh. Its face was slimy and slug-like, with two antennae protruding out of its forehead and veiny eyeballs surrounded by a thin layer of the skin working as an eye socket. It had a human mouth with incredibly sharp teeth; being able to rip your head off with a clean motion, your previous acts being unuseful as the battle was decided in seconds. Leaving your unattached head to fall to the floor and your neck turned into a blood fountain that the curse was certain to enjoy. Its mouth could spread across its oval face up to its ears, or what your thought were ears, the small holes on either side of its head.

The creature laughed at you in amusement, a grin spreading up to its ears and on the end of the antennae its eyes curved with joy.

Another tentacle pierced your stomach, the undeniable crack of the concrete behind filling your ears as your mouth filled with a metallic taste. Blood spewed out of your mouth, coating the green limbs red as Megumi rushed towards you, his hands pulling together.

“Don’t,”

You choked at him, a crack erupting from your left hand as you flicked it in a futile attempt to free yourself, only grazing the limbs stuck into your body.

Your eyes widened as the tendril’s wounds healed, only millilitres of purple blood landing on the floor. Your lungs emptied of oxygen as your ragged breaths fastened in worry.

The wall behind you collapsed, being so unstable from the attacks that hit it as well. Your body fell backwards with the large stone as the creature released you. Dust clouded around your weak body when your back collided with the ground, any air left in you disappeared.

You stuffed your hand into your navy uniform pocket, chucking your mobile at Megumi.

“C-call Todo.”

“Todo?!”

-

“Why’d you call? I have a national- oh my word, boring dudes always get it the worst,”

Aoi shook his head, insulting Megumi’s battered face that was scratched from multiple rocks flying up and scraping him, as well as a few attacks that he almost dodged but got caught by. He ridiculed Fushiguro as though there wasn’t a special grade curse about to attack him and (Y/n), who was beaten up, leaning against a wall.

“I’ve seen how you worked with Itadori against that special grade curse before. Though, we have to hope he heals up and d-doesn’t get overtaken by Sukuna,”

(Y/n)’s frail voice coughed from behind them, answering his previous question, jinxing the reappearance of Yuuji as he waltzed in, unfazed.

“Brother!”

Toudou ran towards his ‘best friend since middle school’ only to be stopped by Megumi,

“That’s not Itadori.”

Sukuna chuckled, turning to the well-built male,

“And what do you want, punk-”

(Y/n) burst out laughing as the black lines on Yuuji’s body started to disappear in the middle of his sentence, her sombre face now had tears cascading down it, her eyes showing off her amusement.

“AnD wHat dO you wAnT, pUnk?”

She mimicked Sukuna’s voice, coughing from her laughter.

Megumi sent her a glare moments before he jumped out of the way of an incoming attack from the special grade still pursuing them, drawing his attention away from the group.

Yuuji’s cheek opened up, a mouth forming on his light, healed skin and started cussing out the girl that made fun of him,

“Shut your mouth, little girl, if I had control over my body I would be ripping you to shreds but this bastard took back control!”

“That makes the both of us!”

(Y/n) wiped away her tears with her free hand.

Sukuna clicked his tongue, irritated, before disappearing from Yuuji’s cheek.

“I think you should help Fushiguro, just a suggestion,”

The girls stated, worry settling in her as she watched her friend summoning his Shikigami.

Aoi turned to his friend, high fiving him before running headfirst into the battle. He nodded at Megumi just before he landed a punch in the curse’s gut, then motioned over to Yuuji, signalling that they had it covered.

Toudou’s blow sent the curse skidding back toward the centre of the room, dust dispersing from underneath its feet.

Now we’re getting somewhere,

The creature burst out in hysterics, using its octopus-like limb to wipe away the purple blood from its mouth, as its eyes stared down at Toudou, shining with glee.

The curse moved behind Aoi with inhumane speed, shooting a tendril at his back. It implanted into the trunk of the tree that Todo was standing in front of, falling towards the monster as it moved out of the way, the tree falling beside it.

Black flash.”

Cursed energy radiated off Yuuji, his fist meeting the back of the creature while it was distracted.

Air whipped around the room, Itadori being blown back from the strength of the blast. The creature hunched over in pain before releasing a demonic laugh that echoed throughout the room.

“Yeah, bad idea.

(Y/n) flicked up her palm, channelling as much cursed energy as she could, the wave picking up speed and strength as it neared the creature that moved out of the way.

The girl smirked as Aoi stepped into the line of the blast, clapping his hands and switching places with the unexpecting curse. The blow sliced through the side of the creature's abdomen, purple liquid pouring from between its plump flesh, running down the side of its leg and pooling onto the ground.

Its skin stretched around the wound, healing its body quickly as Yuuji sent another blast aimed at its face. It dodged each of their hits, despite being a large target and sending them multiple projectiles at once to counteract.

“I’ll go get Kugisaki, you help them out,”

(Y/n) turned to the male beside her, tying his jacket around her arm to stop the blood flow.

“But you’re hurt, there’s no way you can go get her. You need to-”

“I’m a manipulator, remember? I can manipulate my wounds to heal faster using reversed techniques without using as much cursed energy, I’ll be fine,”

The girl pushed herself off the floor, Megumi nodding before they split.

(Y/n)’s legs ached as she ran, searching for her large egotized friend.

Kugisaki's orange hair jumped out at her from behind a lush, green bush in the corner of the room.

"Found ya!"
