Friday: 10:22 a.m Burgess, New York
The moment Jamie woke up and looked out the window he knew it was going to be a wonderful, fun filled day, for on the ground outside was a freshly fallen layer of snow, perfect for making snowballs and snowmen!! Now, you maybe asking yourself "How does he know it would be perfect for that sort of play?" Well, it might have something to do with the fact that on his window was a frost picture of a rabbit, which was the signature calling card to tell him that his best friend was back in town for the winter!!
Now again, I'm sure your wondering, "What does his best friend being back in town have to do with all of this?" Well, when your best friend is the Legendary Figure known as Jack Frost, you tend to come to expect these sort of things. It was always a treat when Jack came, and always meant snowball fights, sled rides, ice skating, and most importantly, snow days!!
He hurriedly threw his covers off and ran to get ready for the day, thinking that he had to call his friend to make sure they were up, so they could all go out and play in the snow with the Guardian Of Fun, the one who had saved them from the Boogie Man, Pitch Black, the year before. He made sure to also poke his head into his sister, Sophie's room, to make sure that she was up to come out with him. "Soph, wake up, Jack is back in town!!!" As he said this, a blonde head popped up from the other side of the bed, Sophie had fallen on the floor again in her sleep. "Jack, Jack, Jack is back!!!, is Bunny here as well?" The little girl asked as she hopped up from the floor to hurry out of the room as well.
"I don't know if he is or not, but lets get ready quickly and we can find out!" Jamie said in a rush, as they both went to brush their teeth, knowing is they didn't they would get a lecture from their friend, The Tooth Fairy. As they did, Jamie asked Sophie," so what kind of dreams did Sandy give you last night?" He did this every morning, as the Sandman always gave some of his best reams to them, as thanks for the help they gave to him and his fellow Guardians of Childhood in the defeat of the Boogie man.
"I had a dream that I was a bunny princess and I helped Bunny make lots and lots of eggs for Easter!", Sophie replied as she finished brushing her teeth. Jamie couldn't help but laugh, as that was a dream that she had often, as her favorite was undoubtedly E Aster Bunnymund, aka the Easter Bunny. "Well, I'm sure Bunny will be visiting soon, he always does before he has to get started for getting ready for Easter next year!", Jamie replied, laughing under his breath at her enthusiastic retelling of her Dream.
Finnaly, they were ready for the day and were about to start getting dressed to go out and play in the snow when their mom called them to the dining room to eat breakfast first. " You two need to east breakfast first, then you can go out and play with your friends, ok?" "Yes, Mom" they both groaned as they shuffled over to the table to eat. They would eat as fast as possible and then go out to play in the snow with their friends.
