Resident Evil: T Revival

Summary:

This all started in 1998 in Raccoon city, where all hell broke loose thanks to Umbrella corporation, and the world was never the same. Claire never forgot the night she went looking for Chris, but she made sure to never go back there. Even when the consequences of that night followed her through life. Leon tries to move forward in his career, away from nightmare, but it kept resurfacing no matter where he goes. Both took different paths guided by that night. But once they learn someone else gotten hold of the original T-virus and experiments are being tested like Umbrella once did, both will come back to survive again, like they did all those years ago

Notes:

I started playing RE (technically my roommate kinda forced me lol) last year so I am new to this fandom. But the story will mainly be based on the games Capcom released as well as sprinkling in bits from the books written by S.D. Perry (Which was my real intro to Resident evil) I'm not including the movies (ESPECIALLY NOT WELCOME TO RACCOON! I have issues with that movie)

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Raccoon City, October 1st, 4:00 am

This city is fucked!

Nowhere was safe. Building were falling apart or on fire. Everywhere you turn there was either those licker creatures, another infected carrier or worst of all, the tyrant that was out killing those stupid S.T.A.R.S bastards who started all this. Of course once you think it can’t get any worst, life makes it worst. According to the radio, this city was gonna get nuked at sunrise. Almost everyone who was working with Umbrella on this site was dead or undead. By either a miracle or some shit luck, Gabriel, an Umbrella scientist was still alive and running. But in his panic, he kept running into dead end or co-workers who wanted to eat his flesh. Only by being fast on his feet from years of running from bullies, did he remain uninfected. He just had to make it to the lab and grab a phone so he could call HQ and tell them he was still there. Surely they would want one of their only uninfected scientists. Right?

Body slamming into the door, it swung open to the offices of him and his co-workers that was also the way to the testing lab for the virus samples. He scrambled to his desk, knocking over a majority of things as he fumbled with the phone in his sweaty hands. She dialed the number in and waited for the dial tone to be answered.

“Come on, come on! I don’t want to die here!!!” Gabriel panicked as the phone continued to ring for what seemed like forever.

“Were sorry. This line has been disconnected. Have a good night.” The automatic voice told him before hanging up on him

“Are you fucking kidding me?!?” Gabriel screamed before throwing the phone against the wall in pure rage. Anxiety took over as he realized that he was gonna die here.

Suddenly footsteps were heard exiting from the testing area and a man with red hair, cool complexion and holding a suitcase walked into the office to see Gabriel on the floor panicking. Gabriel looked up at the man and smiled.

“Linus! Oh my, there really is a god!” Gabriel said scrambling his feet as he ran to Linus and threw his arms around him and hug him tight, although Linus didn’t move to return the gesture.

“I thought I was the last one alive! I'm so happy to see you! Do you know how to get the hell out of here?” Gabriel asked him desperately.

“I have a chopper waiting for me on the roof.” Linus said calming with a smirk that Gabriel missed.

“Oh thank god! I'm not gonna die here!” Praised Gabriel as Linus began to walk away with Gabe following his like a puppy . “ I knew Umbrella wouldn’t leave us brains here to fall with the common peasant that are Raccoons people. I cannot wait to talk to the head and tell them UCBS failed to…..”

All of a sudden, Linus turned around and shot Gabriel twice. Once in both legs. Gabriel screamed in pain as he fell to the floor, unable to walk now as blood poured onto the floor. Looking up at Linus, he saw him smirking as he put his pistol back in his lab coat pocket.

“WHAT THE FUCK MAN?? YOU SHOT ME!” screamed Gabriel as he tried to stop his leg from bleeding to no avail.

“Don’t take is personally. It’s just orders.” Linus said leaning down towards him.

“Umbrella ordered you to shoot me?” gasped Gabriel, but all Linus did was laugh at the bleeding man.

“Not Umbrella, But I think I did them a favour taking you down.” Said Linus in a tone that sounded so evil. That’s when Gabriel finally realized what he was saying.

“If you’re not with Umbrella, then who the hell do you work for?!?” Screamed Gabriel. Linus knelt down to be face to face with Gabriel and looked into his eyes for a moment as he took his gun out again and slapping his hard across the face with it. Gabriel collapse to the ground feeling blood trickle out of his mouth onto the floor.

“I would worry more about your ‘friends’ finding you than who I work for.” Linus told him as the sounds of virus carries began to get louder. Linus stood up and straighten out his outfit. “Well, It’s been fun Gabe. But I think company is coming for you.” With that Linus took off, suitcase in hand down the halls to the roof, the sounds of Gabriel’s screams echoing off the walls until it came a sudden stop and all that could be heard was virus carriers eating.

When Linus reached the roof, a helicopter was waiting with is blades rotating slow enough to keep it grounded for him to hop into a seat. Once he was all settled, the helicopter blades turned faster and took off from the building. The city from hell was now growing smaller in the distance. Linus smirked as he placed his brief case on his lap and opened it, revealing tubes of the T-Virus safely inside, still in one piece. Closing the case, he reached for his cell phone and dialed a number.

“Its me. Yes I have the T samples. Unfortunately William destroyed all the G samples, but I did find some of his and Annette’s notes on it. Possibly, as long as I have time and resources mind you. No, I doubt Umbrella will survive long after this goes public. I’ve made enough contact with the higher up. If they survived this, they’ll contact us. We got his approval? You were right. Talking about immortal life worked on the old bastard. From Umbrella ashes, Tenebris will rise.”

Hanging up, Linus smirked as he leaned back in his chair as the sun began to rise over the horizon and the sounds of an explosion echoed through the wind.
