AU in which Alpha Megumi, the heir and Prince of the Zen'in Empire, marries Yuuji, an Omega and also the Prince of the Ryoumen Empire and the baby brother of Emperor Sukuna.
Megumi's marriage to Yuuji is part of the plan by the Zen'ins to take over Sukuna's Empire. Sukuna only agreed for his only baby brother to marry the Zen'in heir because he thought that the strife between the two empires will be put to an end with their union.
Yuuji never expected much from his husband, seeing as it's an arranged marriage and all, and they didn't meet each other before their marriage day - but he was warm to Megumi. He never once disrespected Megumi and treats the Alpha like one would with their introverted friend. The two don't share a room and they have different wings in the palace. They of course eat together, starting light conversations and being friendly with each other.
As the months go by, Megumi finds himself liking Yuuji's company. Even his handmaiden and bodyguard, his cousin Maki, finds both the Omega and his own handmaiden, Nobara, presences enjoyable.
Megumi never expects it but he falls in love with Yuuji. Like head first in love. He finds himself wanting more and he starts opening up to Yuuji. For the first time in six months since their marriage, the two spend the night in a single room together - cuddling and soaking up each other's warmth. After the first time, they continue with their routine, sleeping together and never being alone in a room after that day.
The first time they finally have sex a month or so later, it can only be described explosive. It's as if thousands of fireworks are going on under their skins. When a shy and flushed Yuuji makes it known to his husband, who is in him and thrusting in slowly into his slicked cunt, that he's a virgin - Megumi almost goes feral with lust.
The discovery that he's Yuuji's first and last energies him so much that he takes Yuuji so many times. He doesn't give up until a drooling and crying Yuuji passes out from overstimulation - his lower abdomen distended due to Megumi's cum filling his womb up. When all is said and done, Yuuji looks pregnant and Megumi preens with pride.
Two months later, Yuuji announces that he's pregnant - to the happiness and horror of Megumi. As he caresses Yuuji's stomach, on his knees before the pinket as they sit on Yuuji flower filled balcony, Megumi realises that he has to make a choice - choose between his duties to his Empire and ensure their victory and successful expansion, or his new found family. He chooses his family of course.
Megumi's Kingdom attacks when Sukuna leaves the empire under Yuuji's care to go attend a peace conference. It can only be described as hell on earth as the Zen'in Empire, which have successfully invaded the Ryoumen Empire under Sukuna's nose, lay waste to the Ryoumen forces. The Zen'in have had /years/ to work out their plans and weakening and poisoning the Ryoumen forces from the inside out.
As the Palace is under attack, Megumi begs Yuuji to leave with him. Yuuji is enraged and heartbroken that Megumi dared to betray their love like this. He asks with tears streaming down his face and voice thick with emotion if Megumi was just using him and Megumi admits that he was at first, but he fell in love with Yuuji and will die before anything happens to Yuuji and their child.
Yuuji could see the truth in Megumi's eyes and voice. Maki and Megumi see to it that they escape with Yuuji and Nobara, protecting their pregnant mates from their own family members. The two will be branded traitors by their family, but they didn't care.
The four manage to escape the Ryoumen Empire safely and with what little jewellery they have on and sell for cash, they start a new life in a far away land.
Yuuji cuts his waist hair and dyes it blond, and ensures to cover the two birth marks under his eyes with concealer before leaving their cozy cottage seeing as those are Ryoumen traits.
Megumi and Maki keep an ear out to the happenings of the two empires. The news that Sukuna is trying to take back his Empire reaches them and they can only pray for his success.
Six years later, they get a visit from Sukuna. The Emperor is banged up with new scars, and he came with a small escort. Yuuji's happy to see his brother alive - dropping his basket filled with newly harvested vegetables as he run to him with tears running down his face.
When Sukuna sees Megumi, he blesses the Zen'in with a well aimed punch before pulling him into a one arm hug, thanking him for saving his baby brother and keeping Yuuji safe.
When all is said and done, Yuuji introduces his twin son and daughter to his brother - who grins at them, excited to find out that he's an uncle. Sukuna stays for the night and tries to convince Yuuji to come back home - but the Omega refuses, telling the Emperor that he's comfortable with his life there. Sukuna of course doesn't push, but he of course makes it known that he'll be building them a new cottage that's large enough for the seven of them and Yuuji knows that that's a battle he'll lose.
Megumi might hate his family and everything they embodied, but he cannot thank them enough for bringing him to the place he is - a peaceful life and future with the love of his life.
