“How are we supposed to find whoever has that Sloth vessel?” Akito asked, while him and Honami were searching for the vessel of sloth. The two had been looking around the city, to no avail.
Miku had popped up on Honamis phone a few times, but she wasn’t of much help. Akito sighed, they had absolutely no leads on the Sloth Vessel. He ended up walking right into a lamp post, but a lamp post that gave them a lead. On it was a missing poster for Mafuyu Asahina, with details on her whereabouts.
After half an hour, Mafuyu was found, with the Vessel of Sloth by her side. She wasn’t even trying to hide like the others, she simply sat there. “Akito, wait. This is probably a trap…” Honami told him, but Akito wasn’t buying it. He charged straight for Mafuyu, although it was in fact a trap. Akito fell asleep and onto the floor, likely due to the Vessel of Sloth.
So it was Honami versus a sleep curse… Wonderful. Mafuyu smiled at Honami, almost taunting her. The doll was right in front of her, Honami had to destroy it somehow. She needed a rope of some kind, to lure the vessel away to destroy it without harming Mafuyu.
She climbed onto a tree and started pulling leaves off of it, weaving them into a rope. Using her hair tie as a handle, she pulled the vessel away from Mafuyu.
“Why don’t you get some rest? You must’ve used all your energy to make that rope…” Mafuyu said, her voice sounding almost enchanting, like a siren. Honami was tempted, but threw her sword into the doll and split it in two.
She left the remains there and picked up Akito and the now-unconscious Mafuyu. Akito snapped awake, mumbling about missing all the action. Honami messaged Rui through Akitos phone since she didn’t have the others phone numbers, she didn’t even know if Kanade had a phone.
“Honami, take Mafuyu home. I’ll start looking for another vessel. Meet with the other three when you’re done.” Akito told her, and Honami left with Mafuyu.
Akito looked around for any news of the other sinners, and a news report came out while searching. A recent attack had occurred around Kamiyama, the culprit? His own sister, Ena Shinonome. He messaged Mizuki and ran towards the school, ready to fight.
