Work Text:
Levi was so proud of the snow hut he’d constructed for RAD’s Christmas celebrations that he had to show you the inside. It was important to him to point out that it had been made big enough for only two people as you followed him in on hands and knees. You settled in, and Levi made sure he was not quite touching you despite the close quarters.
“I personally think I want a little more space,” he began, and it seemed as if he were talking to cover up a sudden case of nerves. “Like, think about it…we need room for a TV and consoles, not to mention some space for swinging your controller around.” His laugh was just further confirmation that he was rethinking the wisdom of being alone with you in a small, concealed, almost soundproof space.
“It’s kind of cold, too…” you hinted.
“Well, of course! It’s made of snow!” He didn’t get the hint.
“I think the best thing to do in a cold room is warm each other up, don’t you?”
He was starting to catch on, and for once was at a loss for words. It was so cute when he babbled, so you scooched up close and put your arms around his waist and laid your head on his shoulder.
“Uh…um…yeah…I suppose this is pretty good, too.” You weren’t sure whether he’d put his own arm around you on purpose or not, but you made a little noise of contentment so he’d know you were glad he had.
You stayed that way for a few minutes until you felt some of the tension leaving his body. “Don’t you want to kiss me?”
“Whoa! Who just comes out of the blue and asks something like that?”
You gave him that look that told him he was being ridiculous. He should know by now that you always wanted to kiss him. Silly demon.
“I mean, it’s not like I don’t want to. If anything, I’d love to…”
You silenced him immediately with the kiss he wanted, and he loved it.
“If this was a dating sim, this scene would totally be an event flag and get saved to our memory box…”
You moved so you could face him and straddled his lap so you could kiss him even more. Yeah, he was loving these kisses. All his reluctance had faded away.
“Actually, I think we might’ve triggered an event already…” his grin was naughty and goofy at the same time in a way that nobody but Levi could ever pull off. You giggled and rubbed your frozen nose on his.
“I like triggering events with you. Want to go to your room and trigger some more events?”
He hugged you close and said, “Being with you is the best dating sim ever. I never want to stop playing it.”
“Ditto, Levi.”
You slid off his lap and made your way out of the hut, making sure he saw a lot of butt wiggling as you squeezed through the entrance. Once he was out, you announced to Mammon and Barbatos that since the hut was finished, you and Levi had to go finish up a really important boss battle, and you’d see them later.
You didn’t allow him a choice when you took his hand. He blushed deeply, but he smiled. Halfway back to the house he said, “Umm…you know, there aren’t any boss battles in dating sims.”
“Says who?”
He saw the look in your eye, and picked up the pace. He definitely wanted to get you back to his room for this…
