Chapter Text

Shouto doesn’t have many ‘oh fuck’ moments in his life, he’s never had a chance to do anything dangerous, or stupid with his isolated upbringing. And now that he’s got freedom, he’s not sure he likes where it’s gotten him.

He doesn't know how he ended up where he is, but the only thing he can think of right now is that there is a literal fucking villain across the bar from him.

And Shouto thinks he's finally put the nail in his own coffin.

Shouto tells himself that this whole situation is completely irrational.

But when has Shouto ever been a rational person?

The fact that he's within a mile of a villain is concerning. Shouto tries to recall the point in his life that determined this outcome. The last thing he remembers was sneaking out of the dorms for no apparent reason other than to drink his pain away. He left the campus with nothing more than the clothes on his back and one of his father's credit cards. He's surprised his father hasn't found out about Shouto stealing his cards multiple times to feed his addiction.

Shouto thinks back to when he decided to enter said bar. He distinctly remembers being at least a bit tipsy before even leaving U.A. Which obviously clouded his judgment.

Shouto had only started drinking recently though. After Natsuo had left a half-full bottle of vodka at their father's house two months ago. Shouto felt rebellious and tried it. Then he began buying his own alcohol. Either bribing sketchy adults to buy it for him, or just out-right stealing it. Shouto knows it's unhealthy, especially for a seventeen year-old, but Shouto's been struggling mentally for years now. Alcohol just makes his problems go away, only for a short period of time though. Shouto knows it's not worth it, and now he's definitely planning on quitting.

He had entered the bar around an hour ago. Planning on drinking until he blacked-out. Not considering how dangerous and poorly thought out that was, but his careless drinking was suddenly cut short after a well-known villain had entered the bar.

Shouto immediately started to panic. Hoping it was the alcohol that was making him see things, much to Shouto's despair. That was not the case. Shouto was mere metres away from a cold-blooded murderer. A Villain.

All his life, Shouto was made to despise villains. He was taught to believe that they were not humans, and were pure evil, mindless monsters that only wanted to harm and kill innocent people, just for entertainment. Maybe that was the case for some villains, but looking at Dabi. He looked more human than most heroes he had met.

He had enchanting, bright blue eyes that lit up and glistened in the moody lighting of the bar. His scars looked rough and textured, but it intrigued Shouto. He wondered how he got them. The piercings were something Shouto had no idea he'd be drawn to so much. The punk vibe that Dabi gave off was something that scratched an itch in Shouto's brain, like it reminded him of something. A weird case of deja vu.

His staring was quickly replaced with horror. Shouto had realized the situation he had put himself in. It looked like Dabi hadn't noticed him yet, but what if he did? Dabi would kill him instantly. Shouto's nerves and reflexes were completely jet-lagged. There's no way Shouto would make it out of here alive if Dabi, or any other villains in the bar realized Shouto was the hero son of Endeavor.

Shouto didn't know what to do. Does he leave and make a run for it? Does he stay and wait it out? Shouto considers his options and opts to stay. They'd be suspicious if he were to just run out, but it wasn't like staying was a good option either. Dabi could spot him regardless. Shouto would be covered in blue flames before he could even process that he'd been caught. Shouto decides to accept his fate, and keeps on casually drinking to his heart's content. If he's going to die he may as well die numb to everything going on around him. Maybe drinking was a good idea after all.

Shouto begins to look around. Maybe if things went south he could make a quick escape? Although his odds weren't looking good. Shouto looks over to the black haired man, trying to calculate his emotions. Shouto may be shit-faced drunk, but he can still think relatively normally. Shouto examines his face. His sharp jawline, cold facial expression. It makes Shouto think. If Dabi is a villain, why does Shouto think he's relatively attractive? Shouto tells himself it's just the alcohol, but Shouto looks at the older man in more depth.

His eyes are a deep, majestic blue. Shouto thinks he's getting lost in them. He stares in awe. Before he turns away to take another sip of his drink. He realizes they had just made eye contact. Meaning Dabi would definitely know it was him now. There's no way Dabi couldn't recognise him. Shouto may seem like a bland person, personality wise, but his appearance sticks out like a saw thumb. His heterochromic eyes, two-toned hair, not to mention the massive scar that covers half of his face makes him stick out like a sore thumb.

Shouto excepts that he's fucked. Looking away from the man and gulping his drink. Shouto can't even bring himself to look back up to where he was looking at the other man. He can't believe how stupidly idiotic he was to keep on looking at the man just because he thinks he's attractive. Now he's going to be killed in cold-blood. All because Shouto has a staring problem.

Shouto can only think of running out of the bar as quickly as he possibly could. It's not the brightest idea, but drunk Shouto is currently running on adrenaline and pure fear. So there's no better option running through Shouto's mind right now. He decides to make a run for it.

Shouto tries to not dart out the room, trying to not raise any more suspicion than he already had,  but in Shouto's frantic state, he realizes that's probably exactly what he did, and now he's even more fucked than he was before.

Looking around the outside of the bar, he remembers that he doesn't know how he got here, and is completely unfamiliar with the area. Being one of the sketchiest areas Shouto had ever seen. He decides to just speed-walk as far away as he possibly can from any nearby villains. Which Shouto realizes is stupid because he's in an area that is infested with villains and vigilantes.

Regardless of that though, Shouto runs off as far as his shaky, drunk legs can take him. After what felt like half an hour. He slows down and decides he's lost any potential attackers and begins to walk in a less panicked manner.

He finds himself in a run down old factory, or what seems like one. There's practically no roof or walls. Just some bricks that are stacked on top of each other. Shouto thinks that's where a wall must've been.

Shouto can't remember how long he's been walking for, and the sky is still dark as ever. His phone's dead and he can't find any familiar areas. He accepts that he's lost and is ready to give up. Wait it out till morning and hope a search party goes out looking for him. He knows they will because of his father. So he isn't all that worried about no one realizing he's gone.

However, he is still in a heavily villain populated area, which is terrifying for Shouto. Because not only is he vulnerable due to being drunk, but he's also incredibly low on stamina after walking for what felt like hours. Shouto can only accept that he's fucked. Well and truly, utterly fucked .

He finds some more piles of bricks and decides to sit down on the floor next to one, leaning his back on the brick wall. Shouto lets his eyes flutter shut, but quickly opens them again. Shouto can't fall asleep now. It's too dangerous and the last thing he wants is to be kidnapped by a villain in his sleep.

He thinks back to the villain. Someone so set on destroying heroes, but looks so peaceful when sat alone at a mostly empty bar. Shouto considers the concept of whether villains are people too, with dreams and aspirations. However, some are just morbid.

It reminds Shouto of his brother. Touya.

Touya loved heroes dearly, but hatred festered quickly after his father focused on Shouto's training more. Shouto wishes he had listened to his brother about how heroes aren't what they were made out to be. After all, Shouto believed that what his father did to him was what all heroes had to go through to help people. That it was normal and Shouto needed to train to the brink of exhaustion so that he could protect the people he loved.

Touya tried to convince Shouto he was living a lie, but you can't explain something so life changing to a six year old and expect them to listen. Shouto wishes he hadn't been so ignorant.

Shouto thinks that maybe if he had realized that what his father was doing was wrong, Touya might have survived. Someone could have saved him before his father killed him..

Touya was the only one who stayed with Shouto throughout his childhood. Fuyumi and Natsuo were too scared to even go near Shouto, not that Shouto blames them for that, Shouto wouldn't want to either. But Touya stuck by Shouto’s side. Even if that meant a particularly harsh beating from their father. Shouto wishes he could thank Touya for all he did for him. But he's gone now. The only memories he had of Touya were him patching up Shouto's cuts and bruises, or the violent, heart-wrenching screams that could be heard from the training room after Touya disobeyed their father.

Shouto loved his brother. Shouto gets reminded of his death every day.

When Shouto can't sleep, he thinks about his brother. All the ways that Shouto could've stopped his brother's death. Although he'd never know if anything he did would mean that his brother would still be alive. Touya haunts Shouto. Even though Touya is dead, he has more power over Shouto than his own father does.

Shouto gets brought back to the painful reality of his situation when he hears a rustle in a nearby bush. Still horrified for his safety, Shouto makes a quick turn to face the bush before being greeted with green spiky leaves dancing in the wind. Shouto isn't completely comforted by the sight of nothing though. In fact, it scares him more.

He knows it could just be an animal of some sort, but Shouto's drunk and was panicking anyway. Noises don't soothe his paranoia, it only amplifies them.

He heard more rusting coming from behind him. Shouto felt like this was a game of some sort. Like a predator playing with its prey. Shouto couldn't think of what to do next. Should he run for it? Go investigate the noises? Shouto's mind was hazy. Horror spilling through his veins. Shouto was fucked. Completely fucked.

He heard another loud noise from behind him.

Shouto's head whipped around, greeted with an utterly terrifying sight. It was Dabi. The villain .

He looked exactly the same as he did at the bar. Frighteningly bright eyes, messy, untamed hair, ragged clothes, some would say he looked homeless. Shouto would agree with them.

Shouto stopped his gawking at the man the moment he realized the actual state of the situation he was in. The villain that had previously terrorized him and his classmates, was standing about four feet away from him, with the most smug face Shouto had ever seen. It was like the villain knew he had already won whatever game he was playing.

Shouto stifled, taking a few steps back with his fists clenched in terror.

The villain glared. It made Shouto feel weak and small. Shouto was completely overpowered in this. His life rested in a killer's hands. Shouto already accepted that he wasn't going to see tomorrow morning.

"Why the fuck is a seventeen year old hero-in-training spending his Friday night at a bar." He said the words in a way that didn’t make them appear as a question, more of a statement than anything. He takes a few steps back, Shouto feels his back meet another pile of bricks, getting trapped next to the villain. Dabi was only a foot away at this point.

Shouto swallows the bile in the back of his throat, flinching at the tone of the man's voice. Unable to speak, the villain does it for him.

"You must be one stupid kid if you think you'd survive here." Dabi spoke, unimpressed. Dabi moved closer. Each footstep carries more weight than the last. As Dabi inches closer, Shouto feels his soul slowly leave his body. Shouto was a dead man. How stupid could he have been to let his guard down by drinking at a villain infested bar? When Shouto dies, he'll only have himself to blame.

"What? Brave enough to drink in a villain bar but not brave enough to fucking speak? " Dabi teased. His hands fisted in his pockets, towering over the other boy, only inches away now.

"If you're going to kill me, get it over with." Shouto said sternly. Already preparing himself for death. Trying to act like he’s completely fine with the situation and not freaking out.

Shouto considered why he's mostly okay with dying. He's angry, of course. But he's not scared or anxious. Just waiting for it to happen. Shouto wonders whether it's the alcohol numbing his nerves and senses. Or if this was actually Shouto's idea of life.

"Wow. Now I'm thinking you actually do have a death wish. Are you fucking insane?" Dabi says. He can't admit to himself that he might be right, Shouto may have a death wish. Although he doesn’t like the thought. Shouto shocks himself with how calm he's managing the situation.

"You’re one to talk." Shouto mumbled. Not silent enough for the villain to not hear though.

"You don't need to be so stingy. I'm just trying to make conversation." Dabi laughed, with what seemed like a genuine smile. The staples in his cheeks go loose for a second, opening space due to the new tug of the skin. Shouto watched, entranced.

"Are you going to kill me?" Shouto asks, genuinely questioning the villain's intentions.

He sees Dabi's face go blank for a second, caught off guard by the brunt question. Dabi then raises an eyebrow with another creepy yet fascinating smile. "Maybe.” Dabi smirks again.

Shouto's train of thought gets disturbed by a hand reaching up to his chin, holding it there in place. Dabi rested his pointer finger underneath Shouto's chin, his thumb sticking up with a small flame escaping from it.

Shouto gulped. The light from the blue flame made Dabi's eyes glisten profusely. Shouto was mesmerized by them. He couldn't shake the thought away no matter how hard he tried. Shouto knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help himself. He felt himself leaning into the touch unconsciously. He felt drawn to the man. For someone who radiated power and dominance in that moment. Shouto saw his gaze as something more. It felt soft and caring. Once upon a time, that was how his brother looked at him.

Dabi moved even closer, only an inch apart from each other's face. Shouto hated how much he loved it. Dabi stared into his eyes as Shouto's widened mouth hung open.

Shouto couldn't bring himself to push him away.

The older man moved his hand from his chin and brought it up to cup his cheek, rubbing thumb against the soft skin on his face. "I could kill you right now, and no one could save you." Shouto felt Dabi's breath against his face. His words carried so much weight, it felt as if he was suffocating under them. Shouto could only stare at the man, unable to let any words escape his mouth. "Do you know how fucking stupid you are for coming here?." Shouto could only stare, lips pursed and fists clenched.

“Leave.”

Shouto’s eyes widened as the villain pulled his hand away from the boy’s face. Shouto couldn’t move, stunned in disbelief. Shouto pinched himself unconsciously, just to make sure this wasn’t a bad dream. Or rather an awful nightmare.

“You fucking deaf now? Fucking run before I kill you right fucking now.” The villain spat.

Shouto followed his instructions and ran as fast as he fucking could.

Shouto woke up the next morning with the worst headache imaginable, and was somehow back in his dorm room.

He looked around his room for any clues that may suggest how he got home last night, or if anyone knew about his disappearance last night. Shouto decided that he was too hung over to consider his consequences, so he opted for a nice, long shower instead.

Shouto exited the shower and got dressed. It was a Saturday so Shouto didn't need to worry about classes or needing to be anywhere. He could just sit in his room for as long as he pleased. However, Shouto realized quickly that being left alone with his thoughts is a bad idea.

As much as Shouto wants to forget about last night, he can't get it off of his mind. He should probably tell someone, anyone. Maybe Aizawa-sensei? No, He couldn't. He'd have to come clean about his drinking. Then his father would get involved, and that's the last thing Shouto wants. He ponders around his room in thought, but then decides to leave his dorm instead and find a distraction. He made his way to the common room, trying to ignore his thoughts running marathons in his head.

As soon as he entered the common room, he could tell something was off. There weren't many people in the common room, but as soon as they noticed he was there, they all went silent and began staring at him. Maybe they all knew? Had they found him sneaking back into the dorms last night? What if he had said something about his drinking?  Shouto was shitting himself.

"Todoroki-kun..." Midoriya began quietly, seeming on edge. "Why would you keep something like this from us!?" Midoriya's voice was quickly replaced with a more frantic tone, almost as if he was worried. "We're your friends! You’re supposed to tell us these kinds of things!”" Shouto was horrified. They knew.

"I-I'm sorry- I should have told you-" Todoroki began to apologize, he couldn't hide this from them anymore. His father would know. Would they kick him out of U.A? Shouto didn't know what to do. He's ruined his life-

"You can't just sneak out every night and expect us not to know!" Ashido piped up. The same frantic tone in her voice. He had really fucked up this time. "We honestly can't believe you'd be doing something like this though, it's so unlike you." Kaminari sounded more shocked than worried.

"I'm sorry, I was going too-"

"Is she hot?" Kaminari said.

"What?-" Shouto spoke, confused.

"Your girlfriend that you've been secretly meeting up with for the past month?" Kaminari exclaimed. "She's hot right? I mean she's gotta be for you to break school rules just to go see her." He laughed. Shouto didn't find it all that funny though.

"You should have told us!" Ashido chimed in.

"But-"

"I can't believe you can't trust us enough to not tell us about the girl you're seeing!" Sero said.

"I'm not seeing anyone." Shouto tried to explain, but he just got a bunch of unimpressed looks shot back at him in response.

" Yeah, yeah . Okay. Why else would you be sneaking out like a creature of the night? Don't tell me you're secretly hanging out with villains!" Kaminari laughed and so did the others in the room. Shouto winced at the irony.

Shouto didn't know what else to do other than just agree with them. They wouldn't believe him if he said he was just 'going out for air', it was either faking having a girlfriend, or admitting he had a rather horrific encounter with a villain while intoxicated.

"Sorry I didn't tell you sooner, I just didn't think it was necessary." Shouto didn't like lying, but he didn't exactly have a choice.

"You don't need to be sorry! We're sorry that you couldn't trust us enough to tell us about her!" Deku sounded less panicked now. Shouto hated lying.

"It's not that I couldn't trust you. She uhm- She just wanted it to be a secret." Shouto could already tell he was an awful liar.

"That's understandable, I'm sure she'd be bombarded by the paparazzi if people knew about you and her." Ashido chuckled. "Can we meet her, though? I wanna know what your type is!" She smiled brightly.

"I uhm-"

" Mina! Don't pry, we only just found out he has a girlfriend." Sero jumped in to try and save Shouto from her prying, he didn't help that much though.

"Come on, Todoroki! She's pretty though, right? What does she look like?" Mina was going to pry no matter what Shouto did. So he decided to lie, again.

He couldn't help but feel guilty about lying. He should tell them who he had actually met last night. He couldn't get Dabi off of his brain. He was so close to death and then the villain just let him run away, no harm done. No villain does that, he had every reason to kill Shouto, and he could get away with it so easily.

"Well- uhm…black hair…and blue eyes, and piercings." Shouto had then realized he was just describing Dabi. Shouto didn’t know if that technically still counted as lying.

"She sounds hot!" Kaminari winked at Shouto. "Good on you, man! Can’t believe you were the first one in the class to get a girlfriend, and get laid!-"

"I'm going to go back to my dorm now- Sorry." Shouto mumbled. Making his way back to his dorm.

Shouto ended up forgetting about that night pretty quickly, and most of his classmates didn't ask about his 'girlfriend' after he said she wanted to keep it secret to avoid any issues with the press. Obviously there were some that would ask questions, but Shouto would normally brush them off. He knew at some point he'd have to say that he broke up with her or something, because he stopped sneaking out since the night he saw Dabi.

Shouto was still concerned about why Dabi let him go, but it was nothing that bothered him that much anymore. Maybe Dabi was just in an especially good mood, Shouto hoped that was the case. He doesn't want to think about Dabi having some form of evil plan for Shouto and that's why he didn't kill him, but Shouto lets that thought slide. As far as anyone knows, Shouto never saw Dabi that night, and if anyone was to say anything about it, he had his 'girlfriend' as an alibi.

Shouto carried on with his life and everything felt normal. At least until it wasn't.

Every time Shouto felt like he needed a drink, or something to relax, he'd go for a run outside of campus. Yeah, he was still sneaking out, but not to get drunk. He just needed some time alone, fresh air and that.

As soon as he exited the campus after crawling through a small hole in one of the wired fences, he was hit with some form of deja vu. He can't remember the last time he had a drink, Shouto knows that's a good thing, but sometimes he wishes he could just let go a bit more. After that night though, he couldn't bring himself to drink even if he wanted to.

The cold, night air isn't as good but it helps a little bit, and Shouto will do anything to take his mind off of his damn father.

Shouto had run into a familiar area after about half an hour of running, it was full of trash and broken furniture. Shouto's pretty sure it's a junkyard of some kind, there's a building not too far away from where he's standing, or what's left of a building anyway. Shouto hated how familiar it felt. He can't remember when he had been here before, or why he ever went here, but it makes him feel rather uneasy. He took a right turn and began running again.

Shouto had a bad feeling that something wasn't right, the air felt strange against his skin.

His legs were getting tired so he stopped running, his phone had died not long after he left U.A and he didn't know his way back. Shouto didn't have to be anywhere the next morning so he didn't need to get back any time soon. Although, the area made him feel queasy so he didn't want to stay around much longer.

After a while, Shouto started to get worried. He felt the same as he did before he met Dabi a few weeks ago. His gut warned him that he had fucked up again and should start running to safety, but Shouto didn't know here 'safety' was. He was in the middle of nowhere and completely unreachable. He should probably start charging his phone more often, Shouto thought.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. You again?" Oh fuck. Not again.

Shouto couldn't help but hesitate before turning his head. He hoped to god that he was hallucinating and the lack of energy was making him loopy. Shouto knew if he kept his eyes off the villain he'd be putting himself in more danger than he already had, so he had no choice but to whip his head around.

The villain looked the exact same as he did a few weeks ago, homeless, Shouto thought. It didn't feel as scary as it did last time though, obviously he was still horrified, but with the knowledge that Dabi could just let him go scar free, he didn't fear for his life much more than he did any other day. With being a hero in training, you get used to the fact that most people are either watching you, or trying to kill you.

"Did you not learn anything?" The villain spat. Some parts of Shouto thought that it sounded concerned , worried for the teen's health. Shouto shook that thought off quickly, though. Why the fuck would a villain care about a hero kid?

"I- I'll go-" Shouto managed to say, he was in utter shock, again. He began to walk backwards, almost about to turn his head and bolt before the villain spoke again.

"What the fuck makes you think I'm letting you off? You've come here twice now. You're asking for death, kid." Dabi looked unimpressed, Shouto then realised how stupid he had been to think that Dabi would ever consider letting him go more than once, and even doing it one time is unbelievable. Shouto internally kicks himself for having just an ounce of 'trust' for a villain.

" I- I'm sorry, you- you don't need to-" Shouto was shaking badly. "Don't need to do what? Kill you? 'Cause you're making it real fucking easy." Dabi scoffed, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"I didn't mean too, I didn't know-"  Shouto felt tears prick in the corners of his eyes, he quickly blinked them away but it just made the situation worse. He felt like he was going to die. Again.

"If you wanna survive then you'll follow me." Dabi began to walk away, turning his back to Shouto. In that moment, Shouto knew he could make a run for it or attack Dab whilst his back was turned, but Shouto knew Dabi was smart, he wouldn't turn his back to a hero if he didn't have a plan in case said hero would try and attack him.

Shouto had no choice but to follow him.

They had been walking for what couldn't be more than ten minutes before Dabi came to a stop. He knew Dabi must have been really cocky about having the upper hand for letting Shouto stay behind him for so long, even though Shouto had a perfect chance to strike.

They had stopped at what looked like an abandoned facility. It must have been used for a storage building more than a decade ago, it looked completely abandoned like no one had been there in years.

"Come on in." Dabi said, opening the front door to Shouto. Shouto stepped in hesitantly, greeted with four walls covered top to bottom in graffiti. The stone floor was cracked and there were a few flights of stairs that led to the roof. Shouto stared up at the hole where a door must have been, the moonlight shone down on the floor.

Dabi started walking up the stairs towards the light, not turning his head to see if Shouto was following him. Cocky bastard.

Shouto stepped on the stairs cautiously, they looked like they were falling apart anyway. When you stood on them it felt like you were going to fall through, they had rusted over time and creaked every time you put your weight on them. The metal poles that kept them up creaked even louder. The bolts looked like they were slowly unscrewing themselves.

Shouto made it to the roof with Dabi. Shouto was completely and utterly confused. Shouto could only think that Dabi was going to push him off the ledge of the roof as soon as he got too close and he'd fall to the ground whilst Dabi laughed.

"Get over here, Hero." Dabi had sat down on the ledge with his feet hanging off, Shouto could push him off and make a run for it, but that wasn't very hero-like. Shouto reluctantly sat down about a meter away from Dabi. "Jesus christ, I'm not gonna bite you." Dabi pulled what looked like a packet of cigarettes out of his coat pocket. He took it out and put it between his lips, lighting the end with his finger.

Dabi sucked in a breath and let the smoke emit from his mouth, some of the smoke snuck its way through the stitches where the dark, scarred skin meets the pale, smooth part. Shouto watched in awe. "Come closer." Dabi demanded, Shouto had to comply, and he shuffled his way over a few more inches, not much more than a foot away now. Dabi took in another breath of smoke and then turned to Shouto. "Try it." Dabi held out the cigarette to Shouto. He looked at the cigarette and then back at Dabi.

"So you can drink your fucking heart out at a bar full of villains, but can't smoke a bit of weed?" Ah, that's why it smelt different to normal cigarettes. Shouto knew he had to do whatever Dabi said, he was under his control. He took the cigarette- cigarette? What's it called? Shouto took it in his hand and held it up to his mouth. He put his lips around it and briefly sucked in before bursting into a fit of coughs.

Shouto turned his face to see Dabi with an amused grin, he obviously enjoyed Shouto's reaction.

From where Shouto was sitting, Dabi looked...rather nice. His eyes glistened in the moonlight and a small smile looked warm on his lips. Shouto didn't want to admit it but he kind of looked...pretty. Shouto must have been staring because Dabi looked more smug after a second. Shouto looked away quickly but then realized it made it more obvious that he was staring.

"Don't try to take in too much. You'll choke if you're not used to it." Shouto held it back against his mouth and began to suck in a breath again. He took Dabi's advice and took it slow. He managed to take in some air without choking and breathed it out, he turned to Dabi again. "Not bad for a hero." Dabi laughed and took it back, taking a breath in himself.

They stayed like that for a while, it was calming. Shouto started to feel the effects of the weed take over, his vision was kind of blurry and his heart was racing. He was kind of glad that his brain was all fuzzy, he didn't want to think about what was happening anyway.

The whole situation settled in quickly, he didn't really want to acknowledge what was happening, but it was hard not to. Shouto looked up to the sky, his legs still dangled over the edge. He knew that his quirk must have gone slack or something, because when Shouto tried to use it, it took more energy out of him than it normally does. Shouto knew that if he fell over the edge he wouldn't be able to stop himself from falling.

"You good there?" Dabi laughed slightly.

"Mmm." Shouto struggled to get his words out, he blamed it on the weed. "Why haven't you killed me yet?" Shouto took the 'joint' as Dabi had called it and looked up to the villain.

"Why would I kill you?" Dabi stared at the joint in his hand, tipping off some of the ash into the abyss below them.

"I don't know. Maybe because you're a villain? That's what you do, isn't it? Kill innocent people." Shouto wanted it to come out more frustrated than it did, but it didn’t, it sounded mumbled and pained.

"Well, if that's the case then I'd hardly call you innocent." Dabi looked up at Shouto with a grin. "You sneak out in the middle of the night to drink, you secretly met up with a villain and didn't tell anyone. I could go on?" Dabi was smug, and Shouto knew he was right so he didn't need to say anything.

"Oh, and you're a drug user." Dabi chuckled.

"Thanks to you." Shouto knew he should be trying to find out some info on the league whilst he had the opportunity, but he couldn't help but indulge himself in the somewhat friendly banter. It felt natural, like he had done this before.

"This is really weird. I'm smoking cannabis with one of the most wanted villains in Japan, and It's all because I drank too much the first time I saw you." Saying it out loud made it a lot worse to handle, but he kind of enjoyed this, with Dabi. He knew that the only worry he had was for what happens after. The consequences. Shouto didn't know how he was going to get out of here, and if he returned back to U.A, he'd stink of weed and they'd probably make him do a drug test. Then his father would kick the shit out of him and he'd be kicked out of school. Shouto is such a fucking idiot.

"Does it freak you out?" Dabi took a deep breath and exhaled the smoke in Shouto's face. He had got closer at some point, they couldn't be more than a few centimeters apart now.

"It should do." Shouto said, monotone and lifeless.

"So it doesn't?" Dabi questioned.

"I guess not." Shouto looked up to the sky again, the stars making him feel grounded for some reason.

"Would it freak you out if I did this?" Dabi said lightly in his ear, his breath was warm. Shouto whipped his head around to see what the villain had meant.

He was greeted with a pair of lips against his own. Fuck. What the fuck? Shouto thought. He was so confused, but he didn't push away. This whole situation was confusing. Was this why Dabi had brought him here? Just to kiss him? Shouto didn't know what to feel or how to feel it. Dabi had kissed him, a villain had kissed him. Shouto hated himself for not pushing him away. He told himself that it was because he couldn't, that Dabi would punish him or something if he didn't. Shouto would never admit it, not even to himself, but even if he would have gotten punished. He didn't want to push Dabi away.

Dabi pulled away after a second. Shouto's mouth hung open and his eyes were widened. Dabi had an ever so small smile on his lips.

"Why- Why would you?..." Shouto mumbled, trailing off. He didn't know what he was going to say anyway. Why would he bring him here? Why would he kiss him? Why would he keep him alive after having every reason to kill him?

"Why would I what? Kiss a cute guy when I've got the chance? Surely you're not that fucking dense." Dabi acted so... so- Unbothered? Maybe it didn't bother Dabi, Dabi had nothing to worry about. Shouto did though, Shouto just had a villain kiss him, and didn't even pull away. Why wouldn't he be fucking worried?

"But- You're..." Shouto didn't know what to start with. "You're a villain." Shouto couldn't manage anything else coming out of his mouth.

"And you didn't push me away." Dabi held the spliff to his mouth and exhaled. "You could have." He turned his face to Shouto and smirked. Shouto hated that Dabi was right, Dabi knew what Shouto was feeling and did everything in his power to use it to his own advantage.

Shouto had nothing to say, Dabi was right. He just looked down at his hands in silence. He felt a wave of guilt and shame wash over him, like he was betraying his friends and family, the entire hero community.

"Oi, hero." Dabi said firmly, Shouto lifted his head up to meet Dabi's eyes. Shouto couldn't help but stare. He really needs to work on his staring problem, it's what got him into this mess in the first place. Or it was the alcohol. Maybe both.

"Was that your first kiss?" Shouto saw Dabi cringe slightly, internally wincing at how child-like it sounded saying that. Not that Shouto had ever experienced that type of conversation, but he had seen in shoujo animes with his friends and other pop culture references his friends had made.

"Yes." Shouto didn't know why he felt embarrassed. Why would Shouto care about what a villain thinks? Shouto doesn't know. But he does- He does care what Dabi thinks. Shouto really wishes he knew why.

"Is that what you expected?" Dabi laughed, It was a bizarre question. Of course not , Shouto thought. He never thought at all what his first kiss would be like, he didn't care. He only needed to care about training and education. Not romantic relationships, or relationships at all. Not that this encounter was romantic, or was any kind or relationship at all. Shouto didn't know what to call it.

"No." Dabi hummed in response and tipped more ash off of the spliff. "Would you push me away if I kissed you again?" Dabi started into Shouto's eyes with a smirk, Dabi was winning whatever sick game this was and Shouto couldn't help but want to play.

"I don't know." Shouto didn't know. Would he? He didn't the first time.

"Do you want me to kiss you anyway?" Dabi edged closer.

"Yes."

Dabi wasted no time closing the gap between them, Dabi's lips met Shouto's and as much as his brain told him not to, Shouto closed his eyes and embraced the kiss. Dabi brought his hand up to Shouto's hip and kneeled on the ledge so that Dabi towered over him. He pulled Shouto closer and Shouto let him. Why the fuck had Shouto said yes?! Shouto didn't want to kiss Dabi, did he?

Shouto didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to kiss? He had never done anything like this before. He let Dabi take the lead, Shouto didn't know why he hadn't pushed Dabi off of the roof and made a run for it.

Dabi pulled them both off of the ledge and back onto the roof so they weren't tipping over the edge. Shouto had to put his hands on the ground to stabilize himself, Dabi stayed towered over him with his knees in between Shouto's thighs. Dabi's hands stayed firm on Shouto's hips, keeping him from moving. Shouto had no other choice but to continue kissing Dabi. Well, even if Shouto could, he doesn't think he'd want to.

Dabi pulled away for air and Shouto was left breathless.

There was hardly any moment to catch his breath before Dabi smashed his lips back onto Shouto's. He felt a tongue against his lips, sliding over them. Shouto opened his mouth to try and speak but was kept quiet almost instantly after a tongue entered his mouth. Dabi's tongue felt foreign in Shouto's mouth but was welcomed anyway. Shouto tried to follow Dabi, matching his movements, but Shouto couldn't keep up. His mind was fogged from the drugs and was overwhelmed with everything in general. Dabi didn't seem to mind so Shouto just did his best.

They pulled apart again and Shouto took in multiple deep breaths, he could feel his hair was a mess and he had sweat on his forehead. Dabi looked completely fine in comparison. "Not bad." Dabi's breath was overwhelming hot on Shouto's face, everything felt so... surreal. He couldn't remember why this was happening, or how he even ended up here. Shouto only focused on Dabi.

Dabi kissed Shouto's lips gently, then began to kiss the skin just below his lips, then his neck. Dabi sucked and bit Shouto's skin with hunger, Shouto let out a needy mewl, he quickly realized how loud he was and brought his hand up to his mouth. Dabi stopped and laughed against his skin. "Only just started and you're already begging for it. Slut ."

Wow. Okay. That's...That's fucking hot. Shouto really shouldn't enjoy being slut-shamed as much as he was. Shouto's never even had sex, he hasn’t even started yet and he’s already discovering new things about himself. Shouto felt his pants getting tighter regardless. He let out another small moan, begging. What was he begging for? Shouto didn't know. But he fucking wanted it.

Dabi took his jacket off, followed by Shouto's hoodie. The cold night air hit his skin, but he was too indulged in the villain to care. Dabi kissed Shouto again and Shouto could feel himself getting into it. He kissed back the best he could with little experience.

Dabi gripped Shouto's hips harder, Shouto was sure he was going to leave a mark. Shouto couldn't help but think that was what Dabi wanted. Dabi broke the kiss and darted for Shouto's neck. He sucked kisses and hickeys into the soft skin of his throat, bruising pale flesh. Shouto's nails dug into the skin on Dabi's shoulder, quivering, trying to stifle moans that were on the verge of escaping Shouto's mouth.

Shouto let his head fall onto Dabi's shoulder, ducking his head in shame. Shouto felt so guilty. He knew this was so wrong. Dabi must be at least in his early twenties and Shouto is seventeen. It's wrong regardless of whether Dabi is a villain or not.

Dabi removed his shirt quickly and Shouto did the same. Dabi pressed a few small pecks to Shouto's shoulders, continuing down the boy's torso. Dabi reached his lower stomach and began taking Shouto's sweatpants off. He pulled them down, leaving the boy in his boxers. Dabi continued kissing his body.

Shouto moaned at the cold air stinging his skin, his arms were trembling and struggling to keep him upright. He slapped his hand to his mouth after making another excruciatingly embarrassing noise. Dabi cupped Shouto's cheek and pulled him into another kiss, he took off his own pants too. They were so close to each other, skin on skin. Dabi kept his grip firm on Shouto's hips, pulling them even closer together.

"Fuck. You wanna do this, baby?" Shouto was left breathless after Dabi pulled himself away, he ducked his head into Dabi's shoulder and nodded shyly. "Use your words."  Dabi pulled Shouto back to face him, still cupping his soft cheeks. Shouto's lips were trembling and his face was flushed a deep shade of red.

"Y-yes..." Shouto let his head fall down, "I want to." Shouto could feel Dabi smirking, he looked up and Dabi quickly kissed Shouto again. Shouto let his hands trail down Dabi's torso, the skin that was still human flesh was soft and smooth, the parts that had been burnt were leathery and textured, for some reason it didn't disgust Shouto. Just fascinated him.

Dabi moved his hand to Shouto's dick, palming it. Shouto moaned into Dabi's shoulder and dug his nails into his shoulders. " Fuck, baby, you're so fucking hot." Dabi kissed Shouto roughly as he brought their hips together. Shouto could feel how hard Dabi was against him. They both moaned into the kiss, the friction sending both of their heads fuzzy.

"I can...um-" Shouto said in between pants. "You can what hm?" Dabi smirked. Shouto’s breathing grew heavier, a few small grunts exited from Dabi's mouth too. "Suck…you…" Shouto mumbled in between breaths.

"You wanna do what, baby? You wanna suck my cock?" Dabi gripped both of Shouto's cheeks with one hand. "Mm..." Dabi made an affirmative noise and stood up. He crossed his arms over his body and stared down at Shouto.

"Are you gonna do it then, can’t keep me waiting now, can you?" Dabi didn't smirk at all, it was demanding. Shouto enjoyed that; being told what to do. Dabi seemed to pick up on that. He scrambled to his knees, staring up at Dabi, staying on his knees in silence for a few seconds, unsure of what he was doing. He lifted his hand up to the villain's boxers and pulled them down, releasing Dabi's cock. Dabi winced at the cold air and Shouto looked up to him. "Go on baby, don't leave me hanging." Dabi teased.

Shouto opened his mouth hesitantly, he put his mouth on the tip and swirled his tongue around the head slightly, Dabi made a grunt and put his hand on Shouto's head to stabilize himself. Shouto took in about three inches, less than halfway and he was starting to gag. Shouto felt like an idiot for not being good at something he offered to do. Shouto did what he could and swirled his tongue around, sucking and trying to mind his teeth.

" Fuck baby . That's good. You're doing so fuckin-" Dabi grunted deeply, it could have almost been mistaken as a moan or a plead. Shouto perked up at Dabi’s words, happy to help the man, as messed up as this was. Dabi's hand gripped his hair and pulled every time Shouto hit a particularly good spot. Shouto then realized how much he was enjoying having his hair pulled. He had some kind of internal checklist of kinks at this point.

Dabi then pulled Shouto off by his hair, a thin string of saliva hung from Dabi's cock to Shouto's lip, his mouth hung open and he looked up to the older man. Dabi ducked down to Shouto and cupped his cheek. "It's not fair if you don't get off too, is it?" Dabi bit his neck and sucked, Shouto knew that was going to leave a mark. Shouto nodded and Dabi pulled Shouto back down onto the floor, Dabi pulled Shouto's boxers down and kissed his torso gently, stopping when he reached Shouto's hard dick.

"You're lucky I brought lube..." Dabi turned to the side of them and pulled a bottle out of his coat pocket and opened the cap. Shouto knew what was going to happen, he was getting anxious and as much as Shouto wished it was from fear, he knew it was because he wanted it. He wanted Dabi. Really fucking bad.

Dabi tipped the bottle upside down and poured the liquid on his fingers. "Are you clean?" Dabi asked, Shouto just made a confused face, Dabi looked unimpressed and sighed. "When was the last time you showered?" Shouto was still confused why he was asking but answered anyway. "Today. Before I  came out..." Shouto said quietly. "And did you wash your ass well?" Shouto flushed red and his eyes widened. "I um- yeah. Yes ." Dabi's face didn't change but he spoke soon after. "Okay, good boy." Dabi smiled and kissed Shouto firmly.

"I'm gonna put a finger in you now. Tell me if you wanna stop. I ain't a fuckin mind reader." Dabi kissed Shouto's neck as he brought his finger up to his hole. His finger circled around his entrance before slipping in smoothly. Shouto's breath hitched as he clutched Dabi's shoulder, shaking under the villain from the foreign feeling.

"You good?" Shouto hugged Dabi's neck to stabilize himself. Shouto hummed into Dabi's shoulder, Dabi took that as a yes. He began moving his finger in and out of the boy slowly, letting him get adjusted. Shouto quickly felt himself wanting more, he didn't care if it would hurt, he just wanted more of Dabi. As much as he could get.

"You- Hah ...You can put another- Mm ... Another one in now..." Shouto moaned and Dabi happily complied.

Dabi entered another finger and Shouto moaned, he tried to bite his lip to keep himself quiet, but it didn't do much to stifle the noises Shouto made. Dabi added another finger shortly after, Shouto was left drooling and clinging on to Dabi's shoulders. He thrusted his fingers in and out of Shouto, curling and scissoring his fingers to stretch the boy open.

Dabi kept at it until he thought Shouto was stretched enough. He pulled his fingers out of Shouto's hole in a swift motion. Shouto whined at the loss.

"Think you can take my cock baby?" Shouto nuzzled his head into Dabi and mewled. "Y- Yes ...". Dabi hummed and repositioned himself, shuffling around until he was comfortable. He pulled Shouto closer so that he was underneath the older man, Shouto stayed gripping his shoulders.

The villain took his cock in his hand and brought the tip to Shouto's hole, Shouto felt a shiver run down his spine at the contact. "Second thoughts?" Dabi questioned, Shouto shook his head. He pushed the tip into his hole, Shouto's breath hitched in his throat. Dabi watched, entranced as Shouto's hole stretched around his cock smoothly, he grunted deeply and brought his head down to kiss Shouto's neck.

Dabi's hands moved from his cock to Shouto's hips and pushed in more, Shouto let out a loud moan as another two inches entered him. " Fuck. You're so tight..." Dabi grunted. Shouto moaned again, he hated how pathetic he was being right now, completely submissive to the villain. He also hated how much he liked it.

Dabi pushed his cock inside Shouto slowly, letting Shouto get adjusted. Shouto felt a small burning sensation in his ass, it didn't hurt that bad, it was just weird, foreign. He figured it was the lube that made it bearable. Dabi must've been over half-way in before he rammed all the way into Shouto, He moaned loudly as Dabi grunted, although it sounded more like a scream. Dabi stayed there until Shouto calmed down from the intrusion, he was still whimpering and his breathing was shaky. "Shh... Baby...". Shouto moaned again.

Dabi slowly started moving in and out, his thrusts were gentle at first before gaining pace. Shouto began moaning loudly, shuddering and shaking. "F-fuck!...please..." Dabi growled deeply. "Yeah baby?" Dabi teased, biting Shouto's neck, sucking and bruising soft skin. "Please...Harder! Dabi...please..." Shouto was a drooling mess as Dabi pounded into his ass. "Whatever you want princess..." Dabi licked a strip up Shouto's throat, Shouto whimpered at the man’s touch.

Dabi's thrusts were wild, searching for Shouto's prostate, one thrust sent a wave of pleasure flooding over Shouto, he felt tears prick in the corner of his eyes in ecstasy. He moaned as he gripped Dabi's neck and Shoulders. "Fuck! There Dabi... fuck...harder!" He sobbed. " God baby... You're so fucking hot. So perfect for me. You take me so well..." The praise caused him to let out a loud and needy whine. He spreads his legs wider, feeling every inch of Dabi's cock inside of him.

"Please...Harder!..." Shouto moaned and drooled as Dabi thrusted into Shouto at a brutal pace. Shouto hung onto Dabi for dear life, each thrust sending him higher than he had ever felt in his life.

"My perfect fucking slut , you take my cock so well... So fucking gorgeous... " Dabi growled as he gripped Shouto's hips so hard that Shouto felt bruises forming already.

He was panting hard as Dabi's thrusts became irregular,  fucking Shouto so hard that he was starting to see white. He felt a burning sensation in his lower stomach, his arousal burning up, meeting its boiling point.

"Fu-uck... I'm so fucking close baby...gonna come-" Dabi grunted as he pounded harder, Shouto felt himself reaching his orgasm. "Dabi!- Fuck...I'm coming- fuck!..." Shouto's vision went white as he felt his insides being filled by hot, white pleasure, his own cock spurting white strings of come over both his and Dabi's chests.

He stayed conscious long enough to feel Dabi pull out, the white fluids flowing out his hole and Dabi exited. Dabi bent down to Shouto and cupped his cheeks, kissing him again before Shouto's vision blurred as he passed out in Dabi's arms.
