Chapter Text
"Siri, where are we going?" Harry asked as they trudged through the marshy beach.
"Somewhere. Somewhere important."
"Specify! Please!" Harry whined as they reached the sand. It was damp and wet and totally not what you would expect in summer. The entire beach was deserted, which was understandable considering how odd it was. It was clean in terms of no trash but it was covered in odd plants here and there and looked gloomy.
They reached the edge of land where the sand meets the water. Harry stared out in the distance. The North Sea looked as if it was never ending. "It goes on forever." Harry whispered. He heard distant rumbling. The telltale signs of a storm. Harry squinted his eyes as he stared, trying to make out his surroundings.
Sirius was further away unhooking what seemed like a centuries-old boat from its docking point. Harry let out a loud sigh as he stared back into the sea. He just finished his Fourth year. So far, definitely the worst. The tournament nearly killed him several times, he nearly lost his best friend of all time, Voldemort came back and Cedric fucking died. Look, Harry and Cedric weren't close nor were they really friends, more like acquaintances but the sight. The sight of his body, lifeless and no remorse whatsoever. Tears pricked the corners of his eyes. He was getting good at moving on but the small niggling feeling of how he could have just saved him if he tried remained.
The salty sea breeze whipped through his hair. Harry instinctively wrapped his arms together to warm himself. Thunder rumbled in the distance, it wasn't as far away now.
"Harry!" Sirius called from near the boat. Harry looked in his direction before he broke out in a run towards him.
"You still haven't told me what you're doing." Harry exclaimed. Sirius heaved a black duffel back into the boat and hopped in. It was Sirius' idea to take them out. Bonding, he told Dumbledore. Harry thought bonding meant going to an ice cream parlor in London under a disguise not hike through dead beaches to go to an unknown location. Sirius seemed to know this place like the back of his hand which confused him because Sirius was still having trouble regaining his memory of his former days. It was almost like he lived on these- Oh.
"Sirius..." Harry's voice dropped several octaves as he looked back at the sea squinting into the distance once again.
"Yeah kiddo." Sirius exclaimed brightly completely ignoring Harry's sudden change in stance.
"Why are we going to Azkaban?" He whispered. Harry looked back at Sirius innocently.
Sirius didn't know who taught him that look but it was concerning. The weight of his question didn't match his face at all.
"I- how... did you find out?" Harry innocent expression melted away his face forming into an annoyed glare.
"Why. Are. We. Going. To. Azkaban. Island?" Harry punctuated every word his worry seeping through.
"I have something I want to you to see." Sirius whispered.
"There is nothing you can show me there! It's a prison, what are we even going to do!" Concern and anger were very clear on his face now. Sirius wasn't joking anymore. It worried Harry.
"You'll see."
"I don't want to see. I want to go back. We are not going there Siri. It's dangerous. The guards are everywhere, they'll definitely know you arrived."
"Come down, Harry. I have a plan."
"That's doesn't calm me down at all."
"Just, get in the boat." Sirius huffed as he hopped in himself. However, Harry did not. "No. I won't get in." Harry said firmly as he stood his ground. To his surprise Sirius chuckled. He really was insane. Is it to late for therapy?
"Come in, Harry. I promise, I have other help. I know some of the guards."
"How the hell do you talk to Dementors?" Harry was bewildered at the prospect. How does anyone talk to Dementors?
Sirius chuckled melded into a full-blown laugh. "Not Dementors Harry, actually wizards."
"Oh... right. I knew that." Harry rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Of course you did. Get in." Harry hesitantly stepped into the boat. Sirius' reasoning for any of this was wrong and Harry was worried. He should have stayed there at the shore but the thought of Sirius going alone was terrifying. He wasn't going to lose his godfather. Not when he just got him. He should of tried harder to stand firm on his ground. He should've, but he didn't, 'cause the little Gryffindor side of his was itching for an adventure too.
"Why are we going to Azkaban anyway?" Harry asked quietly. They had long since taken off and were now quite far off from shore.
"Like I said, I have a surprise."
"What could possibly surprise me in goddamn Azkaban of all places."
"Language." Harry glared at his godfather and let out a loud sigh. Sirius seemed to pick up on his hesitancy and fear.
"It'll be worth it, I promise."
"I hope so." Harry muttered under his breath.
It's been half an hour in the water. Sirius was still paddling diligently and they were getting closer to the island. Neither could use magic as Sirius didn't have a wand and Harry couldn't use his. "Aren't you tired?"
"I'm fine pup. No worries about me." Sirius smiled brightly. This didn't reassure Harry at all.
They finally reached the island. Sirius got off first tying the boat to the dock. The minute Harry stepped out, he felt his heart stop, if only for a mere second. The chill he felt was indescribable. It raced down his spine and spread into his nerves. Sirius seemed to be heavily affected too. His breaths getting shallow and a dizzying look was plastered onto his face. "It's only going to get worse from here." Sirius whispered as he leaned over and grabbed the black duffel bag.
"Follow me." Harry nodded silently.
They trudged alongside the walls of Azkaban. Hiding between the corners carefully. The outside of Azkaban seemed empty and... dead. No life existed, no guards, no Dementors, no... nothing. Harry heard lightning strike above causing another shiver to run down his spine. "You ok, Harry?" Sirius asked warily as they scaled along the side of the building.
"Yea. Yea, I think so." Think being the key word. They reached a notch in a wall, far from their starting point.
"How come there is only one prison in the entirety of the British Wizarding World?" Sirius shrugged at the question.
"There's maybe more, but Azkaban is the only one I remember as of the moment." Harry nodded staring at the wall.
"Ok, now what?" Harry asked, confusion mounting by the second. Sirius gave a maniacal smile.
"Now-" He spoke slowly. Harry was seriously going to get him therapy after this. "-you watch." Sirius opened the duffel bag and pulled out a chisel. Or something that looked similar to a chisel. Sirius pressed his left palm on the bricks feeling for... something. And stopped on a random brick. He took his 'chisel' and carefully aimed towards the centre of the brick. He raised his arm away from the marked area and slammed hard into it.
A small crack formed on the place that was struck. That was...rather anticlimactic. Sirius seemed to pick up on Harry's dissatisfied expression. "Be patient kiddo." He said patting Harry gently on the back.
"Maybe you need to hit it one more time?" Harry asked confusedly while shrugging. Sirius shook his head and nodded his head in the direction of the brick. Suddenly, the crack seemed to grow. It spread from brick to brick, scaling the wall going higher and higher up. And so did Harry's paranoia.
"Aren't we supposed to run now?" He whispered in a quick breath, rapidly shaking Sirius' arm. His godfather seemed to only shake his head in mild amusement and nodded in the direction of the brick again.
A small green moss like structure seemed to come down the wall in speed covering the cracks in rapid succession. Harry inhaled a sharp breath as he held out a hand to tentatively touch the vine. But Sirius grabbed his wrist and pulled him behind him. "Huh!" Harry let out a confused sound as he looked at Sirius.
"Now, we run." He whispered. And they took off. Harry slung the half-open duffel bag over his shoulder and ran.
They completely disregarded the fact of being subtle and hidden. The whooshing sounds behind them only gave them the motivation to run faster. Harry took a quick glance behind him and sincerely wished he hadn't. There were Dementors surrounding the vine-moss sucking the life out of it. He watched, if only for a second as Sirius was definitely dragging him along, the creatures circling around the wall waiting for a possible turn at it. The vine shriveled up to the point it didn't even exist anymore the crack being completely sealed as well.
"What. Was. That?" Harry asked as he panted. He bent over palms resting on knees and the bag at his feet. Sirius didn't even look remotely tired. Perks of having a dog Animagus he guessed.
"Why did the Dementors circle around the moss like that?"
"That moss is specifically designed to conceal holes and fractures in the walls. It has life, just like any other plant. I found a way to use it to my advantage."
Harry nodded in fascination. He slowly picked himself and the duffel bag. "Ok. Now what do we do."
"Now, we must hurry. There is a small entrance nearby for wizard guards that we can use to our advantage." They took off once again, Harry relished the fact of the small break they gained as he could feel his stamina picking up again.
They took another turn till they reached their needed destination. The door stood infront of them. It was barely noticeable, concealed perfectly into the walls. Sirius rummaged through the bag and pulled out a card. He walked over to the door, which had no handle surprisingly. Sirius placed the card flat on the door and, to Harry's amusement, started rubbing it around the door like a madman. Shockingly, Siri's foolish tactic actually works. The door creaked open. Sirius pushed it open even further wincing silently at the sound. He cast a cautious glance behind him and beckoned Harry to follow him.
"How'd you get the card?" Harry whispered for what felt like the umpteenth time. He felt like he had more questions than answers.
"Pickpocketed it from a guard the time I escaped." Sirius answered. Harry closed the door behind him making sure it didn't make any noises. The room or hallway, Harry wasn't sure where they were, was incredibly dark.
"Where are we?" He could barely make out Sirius' figure in the dark. He squinted for a better look at his surroundings. It was to no success. Harry blinked once, then twice, his eyes slowly adjusted to the light.
"Find Maverick." Harry heard Sirius mutter to himself. Harry obviously wanted to ask more questions especially along the lines of 'Who the hell is Maverick?' but refrained because he could feel Siri's stressed aura. They tiptoed on towards the eery dark, Harry straining his eyes to focus on Sirius' silhouette.
"Harry, are you behind me?" Sirius asked whipping around quickly.
"Y-yea. Why?" Harry asked. He was caught of guard by the question.
"Good, good. Because we are about to meet Maverick." Sirius felt around in the air for Harry's shoulder and successfully found it.
"Who is Maverick?" He asked to no one in particular.
"I'm Maverick." A male voice spoke from behind him. Harry whipped around in fright coming face to shoulder with an unknown man.
"Maverick. Nice to see you again."
"I was honestly hoping to never see you again." 'Maverick' spoke scrutinizing the silhouette of Sirius.
"I know. I know. But I need your help. I need to get back in."
"What for?"
"Can't say."
"I can't really help you if you don't tell me what you need. I can turn you in if I wanted to, you know."
"You wouldn't."
"I could."
"I could tell them, you helped me escape last time." Harry sucked in a sharp breath as he watched watched go back and forth.
"They won't listen to you. Azkaban guards are held at a high level. They wouldn't believe you, considering you're a criminal."
"How would you know if they'd believe me or not?"
"They didn't believe you the first time." Maverick whispered in spite. Harry observed him. Or what he could make of him. He seemed pissed. Harry couldn't really blame him, he would have been pretty annoyed too if he had had send most of his time in a Dementor- ridden prison with insane inmates.
Sirius huffed. "Alright, okay. So will you help us or not?" Harry asked, trying to diffuse the growing tension.
"Depends, what do I get in return." He asked.
"What do you wish for?" Sirius countered.
"I'm not sure. But when the time comes you'll have to repay that favor." Maverick muttered. Sirius nodded silently.
"Follow me." Sirius and Harry followed the guard through the darkened hallways. Harry's eyes had long since adjusted to the dark but it was still hard to see. He lay a hand on the walls to feel its texture. It was very much different from the outside brick layers. The insides were smooth. No cracks or notches. Making it near impossible to climb. It was obviously intentional.
Till now, he hadn't passed any actual inmates. They took many twists and turns. It was an honest to God maze.
"We are here." The guard spoke.
"Where are we, exactly?" Harry asked.
"Right now, you are currently on the ground floor. This floor doesn't have any actual inmates. It's generally just a maze of hallways and guard offices. This door leads you to the inmates. I do not have to go in there. Good luck." Maverick nodded and walked off without any other words. Sirius gave a meek smile and turned towards the door. Slowly he pushed the door open.
The smell that was unleashed the minute the door opened wanted to make Harry curl up and die. It was disgusting. Sirius didn't seem to be affected by it whatsoever even though he had a dog's sense of smell.
Harry's nose shriveled up in distaste as he stepped into the room. Rows and rows of cells were stacked onto each other. Some were empty, some were full. He honestly didn't want to step through the corridors. What if they were caught?
"Don't worry about getting caught Harry. We have a special cloak for that reason." Sirius smirked as he pulled out Harry's invisibility cloak from the bag.
"You-my." Harry stuttered, stumbling over his words. He didn't know if he was mad or not.
"Sorry I didn't ask for permission kiddo. I thought you would be all skeptical of me if I asked for it."
Harry sighed reluctantly and looked at Sirius fondly. "I'll let it pass this one time. Just... ask next time." He felt mildly exhausted now. His tiredness catching up to him. All the running and hiding really did tire him out. Sirius made a gesture to get under the cloak. They huddled together and walked slowly through the hallways.
"Stick close to me." Sirius whispered. "Don't make any sudden movements or Dementors might catch a whiff of you." He added on.
Harry nodded in agreement for the umpteenth time. He really shouldn't be questioning Sirius on his skills. He was a Marauder for a reason. A Marauder that escaped Azkaban. They walked together through the seemingly never ending hallway. Inmates either sleeping or walking around and talking like lunatics. So why did he feel like Sirius was going to get him killed?
"Does everyone get sent to Azkaban?" Harry asked. "Maybe. I haven't heard of any other prisons around here."
"What if you did minor crimes, like shoplift or something. Do you still get sent to Azkaban or somewhere else?" Sirius seemed to ponder on that for a moment.
"You ask too many questions kid. Questions I don't have the answer to." Harry frowned but reluctantly shut up for the time being. He didn't want to think about others suffering that bad too.
"Ok. We are about to descend now." They had been walking for a while and had finally reached a door. It looked like it was made with some type of metal. He wasn't sure exactly what type. It looked like a regular steel door. But it wasn't. It didn't matter anyway as Sirius pushed the door open to reveal a long winding staircase going both up and down.
They walked slowly over to the edge as Harry bent down to see the bottom. It looked infinite. He gulped anxiously. "A-are you sure we are supposed to go down?" He asked looking back at Sirius.
"Yep. Now come on." He pulled Harry back from the ledge as they started their descent.
They passed doors at every flooring. A rotting smell getting stronger and stronger with each step. Harry scrunched his nose in distaste and thanked his lucky stars that his cloak was preventing the majority of the smell from entering his nose. They lowered themselves farther and farther as they reached the last landing. "How deep does this go?"
"Very deep. The lower you go the more dangerous the inmates are." They passed the a door which caused Harry to physically stop and read the plaque assigned to it.
"Bellatrix Lestrange." He muttered under his breath. "How come she gets a whole floor to herself?"
"She tried to escape several times. She was almost successful too."
"Almost?"
"Yea, her pride always got her caught though." Harry nodded in understanding as they continued walking.

Harry counted the floors as they went lower. He knew it was going to be hell climbing all the way to the top again. He wished he wouldn't have too. They stopped on the last floor. They reached the bottom. The bottom of the entire building. He looked up and stared at the flights of stairs on top of him. "Ok, here we are." Sirius pushed the door open to reveal another dimly lit hallway.
"This is an interrogation centre."
"This low?"
"Yep." Sirius said popping the p. "It's so if the criminal escapes these rooms they still have to climb up all those stairs. Mind you, these were created during the First Wizarding War so these were primarily used for Death Eaters or would-be Death Eaters." Harry couldn't help but feel the last words were added intentionally.
They stepped in as the door closed behind him with a resounding bang. "Is anyone down here?"
"Not that I know of." Sirius answered. They walked in a straight line. Passing through dusty unused rooms and the occasional empty cell. Small light bulbs lit up as they walked down the halls dimly lighting what little they could. They reached the last interrogation room which was smaller and more packed away than the rest. Harry coughed as Sirius pushed the door open. The dust flew about as Harry finally pulled off the cloak. Sirius stepped out and touched the walls of the room.
"We're here." He spoke chuckling. He exhaled a large breath as he looked back at Harry stood awkwardly in front of the door.
"What exactly are we supposed to do here?" Harry asked hesitantly.
"This room isn't just a room. Somewhere around here is a little marking that we need to find." Harry let a quiet huff of resignation at the thought of doing more work and silently walked towards the walls. Tension built up in his gut as he couldn't get rid of the unnerving feeling that someone was going to bust in and arrest both of them. He also had no clue on what he was supposed to be searching for.
"I can tell that you are scared kiddo." Sirius placed a loving hand on his shoulders and turned Harry around to face him. He didn't know what to say so he just looked away. "I'm sorry I brought you with me but I had too. There is something you have to see. I know you'll like it."
"How do you know what I would like?" He looked down at his feet avoiding Sirius' fiery eyes with everything that he could. Sirius pulled him into a hug. Harry hugged the older man's waist tightly and buried his face into his chest. "Trust me. Even if you don't like it you need to see it for yourself."
"Ok." Harry breathed out. "Ok, I believe you." Harry didn't understand what was going on. He never did. He just did as he was told, like always. Never questioning just doing. But this room, this room felt like he was feeling all kinds of screwed up. He didn't know what was causing it but he had a feeling it was Dementors. That feeling didn't cause him to feel any better.
Sirius moved back from the hug and resumed searching for the 'mark'. Harry eyes roamed the room once again. He walked against the walls his hands trailing it hoping to feel something unnatural.
They had been at it for about an hour now. Harry had given up searching for a well needed break. He sat on the musty floor, legs backed up into himself. His head resting on his knees as he watched Sirius continue searching. He could tell Sirius was becoming more and more desperate with every passing minute. Frantically searching for something. Anything. It freaked Harry out a little.
"Siri... maybe we should give up." Harry mentioned hesitantly.
"Not yet Harry. We are so close." Harry cast a downcast look and kicked at the stone in front of him. He didn't want to be here. The overlying feeling of dread increased the longer they were there.
He walked around the room kicking up the dust on the ground. Sirius coughed un the background. "Harry, I know you don't want to be here but please stop kicking up the dust." Harry looked apologetically at Sirius before looking back at the ground.
"H-hey Siri, is this the mark you were looking for?" Harry stared at the mildly dusty ground. He couldn't really make out what the mark was but it looked somewhat akin to an eye.
"Of course, how could I have been so stupid." Sirius laughed facepalming himself.
"Bambi, help me move the table." Harry blinked once at the unorthodox nickname and shrugged. He watched Sirius grab one end of the table and he grabbed the other. It wasn't a request.
Together, Harry pushed one end towards the door while Sirius pulled the other. A loud scraping sound echoed throught the chambers. Harry thanked the gods that interrogation rooms were usually soundproof so he didn't have to worry about guards running down any moment cause he was sure that table nearly woke up the entirety of Asia.
The table, after a lot of effort was now successfully pushed against the back wall. Harry sighed wiping his brow where sweat was starting to form. He was starting to get really tired. "Look. We did it." Sirius remarked excitedly as he bent down to wipe the dust of the concrete tiled floor.
There, in the place where a previously large table stood now had an eye. Not a small one by the looks of it. It was huge. Covering quite a bit of the floor. "Oh god." Harry whispered to himself. He was exhausted but his curiosity felt like it would kill him if he didn't investigate a little further. They were already here, why not stay a little longer? Sirius seemed awestruck. He seemed as if all the answers in the world seemed to make sense to him now. He looked at Harry and gave him a wobbly smile. "We're getting there Harry. Everything will make sense now." He spoke while getting up. Harry really didn't understand what he meant and frankly, he was too scared to ask.
Sirius gently prodded the eye with the tip of his shoe. He stayed in the same postion with his foot out and above the pupil for a few seconds before stepping on it. He pulled his foot out of the floor diagram and stood back. Suddenly the pupil changed postion and looked towards the left where Sirius was located. Then at Harry. The thing stared at Harry for a few seconds before proceeding to blink.
If Harry wasn't frozen in shock before he sure as hell was now. He shrieked as the thing blinked then continued looking back and forth between them. Sirius barked at the laugh at his reaction before focusing on the now animate object in front of them. It blinked one more time before freezing in place. Harry finally accepted the fact that he was insane and now needed medication. He continued watching the eye hoping that it would give any indication on what they should now. And lo and behold, the die seemed to roll in his favor. The pupil of the eye slid back to reveal a small man-hole sized opening that seemed to enter into the never-ending abyss. Sirius was giddy with excitement as he continued staring at the opening. "I'll go first. You follow behind me." He declared before heading down the spiralling steps. Harry couldn't argue with that logic. He was perfectly fine following him down.
He grabbed the bag sitting on the table and slowly placed his right foot on the rickety metal steps. He stepped in and descended. How low could this prison go he didn't know nor did he ever want to find out. If it wanted to disappear into hell he wouldn't ask. He was the Chosen One not God.
A minute or two passed as they descended into the dark. Harry blindly following the footfalls of his godfather praying to every God known to mankind hoping that they wouldn't be eaten by a monster or worse, fall to their death. He grabbed onto the railing tightly as he paused to shuffle through the bag.
Desperately wishing for a torch right now as he scrounged through the bag. His hand an felt oddly shaped bottled and a soft cloth-like substance. Odd, but he wasn't going to question anything anymore. He finally felt a hard plastic object and pulled it out of the bag and feeling for the switch. He was successful and the torch lit up blinding him temporarily. He aimed the torch at the ground as he rubbed his eyes. Although he managed to turn it on he also managed to blind himself because the flashlight just so happened to be aimed at his face.
He aimed the torch away from and into the dark. He couldn't see anything. There was nothing beyond him and the staircase. It was as if the outside world was eating the light like some black hole. A shiver ran down his spine as he pinned it down to face the ground again to look at where he was stepping at. It was a black metal staircase. The staircase was so small it wasn't able to fit him properly. "Harry! Kiddo where are you!" Sirius' frantic voice rang through the dark causing Harry to nearly dropped the torch. "Harry!" He called out again.
"I'm here!" Harry replied.
"Where are you!?" Sirius bellowed.
"Right behind you!" Harry shouted out as he ran down the steps careful not to stumble over and fall. The torch was aimed in front of him lighting what little it could. He slowed down as he saw a humanoid being standing still.
"Pads?" Harry called out hesitantly. He was not going to be eaten by a hell monster today. The creature turned around swiftly and thankfully revealed Sirius' face.
"Harry! God, kiddo!" He ran up the stairs and hugged Harry tightly. "I thought, I thought you died or something. I thought you got lost." He muttered.
Harry patted Sirius' back awkwardly. He had no idea how to react in a situation like this. He was still new to this type of affection. "Y-yea. I'm here. Don't worry." He replied reciprocating the hug.
"Ok. Come on." He gripped Harry's hand firmly before gently guiding him down the stairs while Harry used the torch to light the way.
Walking down felt like it took forever but they finally reached the landing. Harry let out a puff of achievement before looking at Sirius. "Harry give me the bag." Harry complied without hesitancy. He shined the light around him to look for a hallway. All he found was an empty cavernous opening. "Are- are we supposed to walk in there?" Harry asked gulping.
Sirius nodded silently. Harry's eyes widened at the confirmation. This was some horror movie shit. He lived long enough to experience almost dying multiple times. Now though, he was going to experience death. "Grab my hand." Sirius stated dragging Harry out of his mental preparation of his will. What Sirius said wasn't a request, it was a demand. A demand which Harry would gratefully follow. He wasn't walking alone into that death trap.
Slowly, they entered the eery tavern. Harry used the torch to guide the way while his left hand clutched his godfather's tightly. Sirius had the duffel bag pulled over his shoulder as they trudged on. Stalactites hung low from the ceiling and moss covered the walls.
What really caught Harry's interest though was glowing crystals that lined the sides of the cavern. They were in all shades known to man and the deeper they went, the more seemed to appear. He was mesmerized. "Stunning, aren't they?" Sirius asked as Harry was eyed a bright blue one.
"Yea."
"They're called Misor's Diamond. People believed if you found and touched one you will become wealthy but at the cost of your life." Sirius spoke.
"Misor's Diamond." Harry muttered under his breath taking in the new knowledge.
"It was proven later that they are coated in a toxin that could kill you." Sirius added on.
"Oh." Harry wasn't expecting that. But it made sense. Magic worked in odd but beautiful ways. Their trek to the possible centre of the Earth continued on as the diamonds slowly started disappearing behind them.
Harry was little disappointed at leaving them behind but moved on. Deeper and deeper they trudged. The torch guiding their way through the dark cave. It was as if time slowed down. Nothing seemed to follow a linear pattern here. Harry couldn't tell how long they've been here in Azkaban but Sirius was adamant. It was going to be dark when they leave. He really hoped what he was seeing was worth it.
Slowly, the cave seemed to widen out. They exited out the other side of the mouth and walked on. "It's a dead end." Harry stated as excitement left his being and his hope flatlined. What happened? Did they make a wrong turn?
"No, we made it." Sirius grabbed his hand and dragged him down the path. Harry was convinced that his godfather was actually a crazy murderer and now had half a mind to send him to heaven's gates right now.
He was forcefully dragged down the path of the horizontal rabbit hole as he eyed the once again crystalline creations along with moss and other things that Harry had no clue what they were. At once he was hit with a smell. A disgusting smell that could only be explained as Satan's puke. He could feel his nose wilt. Sirius was also disgusted and worried. He could feel the dread and anxiety being pushed out of Sirius in waves.
"Ok, Harry.-" Harry turned to look at Sirius . They had reached the end of the path. "-what you're about to see might change several things. But you had to see this. You had to see how wrong it was. How bad he lied." Harry didn't know what Sirius was going on about. But he looked anyway.
He stared forward. There at the end Azkaban were two cells etched into the walls. They faced parallel to each other. Sirius was right.
There at the end of the Azkaban in the two cells etched into the wall rested two people Harry thought would never exist again.
