“Oh… You fucking bitch,” Seonghwa breathes out, eyes widening when Hongjoong finally walks in the front door, back from his little secret adventure. They had just been sitting on the couch in the living room, watching a random show on the television when Hongjoong returned.
“Like it?” He grins, closing the door behind him. “I was thinking about getting one for a while.”
Seonghwa scoffs, in pure, utter disbelief not only at Hongjoong’s new haircut, the younger now sporting an undercut, but also at the sight of the piercing that was nestled in his skin around his right eyebrow. That, combined with the tight, black muscle tee and gray shorts he was currently wearing? “Oh, I hate you.”
Hongjoong smirks. “Oo, you like it that much, huh?”
“Why do you have to be so unbelievably, ridiculously, stupidly hot, oh my god,” Seonghwa groans, burying their head in their hands. “I actually fucking hate you.”
Wooyoung walks into the room, catching the tail end of what Seonghwa said. He giggles, looking over at them. “What’s going on? Why do we hate- oh.” Wooyoung’s jaw falls slack when he sees Hongjoong, eyes darting between his hair and the piercing.
Yeosang, who had been following behind him holding his hand, looks over at Hongjoong, his face suddenly mirroring Wooyoung’s. “Oh… That’s… Damn.”
Hongjoong cackles, absolutely enjoying the reactions so far. “Well, glad you guys like it.”
Wooyoung snaps out of his daze, stammering. “When did, I, you, um, sorry, what? No, like actually, what? No, you’re not allowed to be that hot. I’m sorry, sir, there’s like, absolutely no way. There’s absolutely no fucking way.”
“I hate you,” Seonghwa groans again, their head still in their hands.
Yeosang licks his lips, his eyes slowly raking up and down Hongjoong. “Can I like, suck your dick right now?”
“Um, not until I get him first?”
Hongjoong nearly doubles over in laughter. “Jesus fuck, calm down. But I mean, if you’re offering,” he says with a wink, laughing when Yeosang and Wooyoung begin arguing over who gets to suck him off first.
“Oh, Hongjoong’s ba- oh…” Yunho stops in his tracks, openly ogling Hongjoong, his mouth hanging open. “Shit, you… You’re…” He gulps, scratching the back of his neck. “Wow,” he breathes out.
“Oh, I’m so fucking glad I did this,” Hongjoong laughs, clapping his hands.
“No, this is actually unfair,” Wooyoung huffs, crossing his arms. “You have no business being this hot. None.”
“Yeah, he’s… I… You look, um, you look good,” Yunho finally gets out right as San walks into the living room.
“Oh, you’re ba- oh,” San pauses, staring at Hongjoong. “You… You… Wow, um… Wow. Okay. Didn't know you were gonna do that. Um…”
“This just gets better and better,” Hongjoong cackles, throwing his head back.
Mingi and Jongho both walk in at that moment. Mingi was on his phone, blindly following Jongho. He’s confused when the younger suddenly stops, looking up at him and then over at the others.
“Oo… Shit. Hot damn, Joong,” Jongho chuckles, shamelessly checking him out. “That’s a good look on you. Damn.”
“Oh, sick, you got it!” Mingi exclaims, walking over to get a closer look at the piercing. “See, I told you it would look good,” he grins.
“You knew? And encouraged it?” Seonghwa exclaims, staring at Mingi in disbelief before groaning into their hands again. “I hate the both of you.”
“That’s so mean!” Wooyoung whines. “You said nothing!”
Hongjoong cups Mingi’s cheeks, grinning. “I am so fucking glad you did,” he says, giving Mingi the juiciest, purposefully noisiest kiss ever. Mingi squirms under his hold, nearly bursting into laughter against his lips.
“Dude,” he laughs, playfully shoving Hongjoong’s face away. Hongjoong giggles, shifting his focus to Seonghwa.
“Hwa,” he singsongs, half-dancing, half-walking over to them.
“No,” Seonghwa grunts out, not looking up from their hands.
“Yes,” Hongjoong giggles, crouching down in front of them. “Look at me.”
“Nope,” they huff. “Not doing that.”
Hongjoong grins, tilting his head. “Come on.”
“I hate you, Hongjoong.”
“Uh-huh, now will you look at me?”
“You’re evil.”
Hongjoong snorts. “Oh, like you’re so innocent.”
“I actually am.”
“Sure,” Hongjoong chuckles, grabbing Seonghwa’s wrists and prying their hands away from their face. Seonghwa doesn't fight back, they let him move their hands, although they’re still keeping their eyes shut.
“Come on,” Hongjoong giggles. “Why won’t you look at me, hmm?” He places a quick peck on their lips. “Come on, show me those pretty eyes,” another peck. “Pretty please?” And another.
Seonghwa's resolve crumbles, their cheeks reddening. They giggle, opening their eyes and finally looking up at him.
“Hey pretty,” Hongjoong grins. “Was that so hard?”
“I still hate you.”
“I know that,” he laughs.
“Shit,” Seonghwa breathes out, looking him up and down. “You look… Really fucking good.”
“I also know that.”
Seonghwa huffs, smacking him in the back of his head. “Cocky shit. Someone oughta put you in your place.”
Hongjoong chuckles, his head being pushed forwards from the force of Seonghwa’s hit. He blinks, looking up at them while only tilting his head up slightly, a sly grin on his face, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek. “And who’s that gonna be, huh?”
Seonghwa gulps, growing flustered just from his gaze. “Um… Fuck, don’t look at me like that.”
“Like what?” He grins, lifting his head fully, his expression turning innocent yet smug.
“God, Hongjoong, I hate that you know how fucking hot you are,” Seonghwa groans, lightly shoving his face away.
Hongjoong laughs, shrugging. “Blame Wooyoung.”
“Hey!” Wooyoung lifts his head from where it was resting on Yeosang’s shoulder, pouting over at Hongjoong.
“What?” Hongjoong giggles, looking over at him. “You’re always telling me how sexy I am.”
“So now I’m being blamed for speaking the truth?” Wooyoung huffs, crossing his arms.
Hongjoong nods, chuckling. “Pretty much.”
“You’re so mean,” Wooyoung whines, slumping back.
“Oh, I know.”

“Okay, show me the little devil,” San says as he walks into Jongho and Yunho’s room, laughing at the sight of Jongho terrified on the bed with his slipper in hand.
“Over there,” he points to the bug on the wall with his slipper, watching attentively as San approaches it.
“Oh, she’s a big one, yes you are, hello.” San holds his hand near the spider, letting it crawl on. Jongho nearly gags at the sight, jerking his slipper in San’s direction when he starts to walk with the spider crawling all over his hand.
“Oh, you’re so weird, what the fuck.” There’s nothing but disgust on Jongho’s face, and he wants to look away yet he can’t at the same time, watching as San smiles down at the spider crawling all over his arm.
“It’s just a house spider. They’re harmless,” San laughs.
“I don’t even wanna know how you can identify different kinds of spiders, just get that thing out of here,” Jongho shudders, wanting to be as far from the spider as possible, yet he’s still following- very far behind, because he’s still grossed the fuck out - San as he walks out of his room and down to the patio, opening the door and setting the spider down on the ground.
“Be free, little one,” he says with a soft smile.
“I don’t understand you,” Jongho shudders, watching the entire scene from the safety of the patio door.
“What? I’m just not scared of bugs,” San laughs, straightening up. “They’re actually kinda fun.”
Jongho’s face scrunches up. “That’s weird. You’re weird.”
“We’re all weird in some way,” San shrugs.
“Not me,” Jongho says with a hmph, turning around and walking back to his room.
“Brat,” San chuckles fondly, shaking his head.

It’s another beautiful evening that the group are spending in the backyard, the sun starting its descent from the sky as they’re preparing to spend their dinner outside.
Yeosang is setting the table up, taking his sweet time since he’s much too lazy to be tasked with anything else. He’s delicately setting the silverware down as he’s holding a mixed drink in one hand, taking sips here and there. Jongho- also lazy - is clinging to him from behind with his chin on his shoulder, occasionally pouting and nudging Yeosang for sips of his drink. He’s got his own drink, the cup half full in his hand, but Yeosang’s just tasted better.
Hongjoong is grilling the meat this time, nursing a beer while he’s chatting with San, who’s standing close by holding a plate for the cooked meat to be put on.
Seonghwa is working on getting the fire in the campfire pit going, slowly adding more twigs and crumpled balls of old newspaper as the fire gradually grows. They’re in the middle of adding a bigger stick when they suddenly hear music start out of nowhere.
“What the…”
They’re confused at the noise, turning their head to the patio door where the sound was coming from. A single glance was all they needed to burst out into laughter, nearly collapsing to the ground.
The missing three- Mingi, Yunho, and Wooyoung- are clearly drunk on some level, doing the goofiest dances to the song that had just started playing, with Yunho holding what they know is actually San’s speaker on his shoulder.
Mingi, who for some reason is wearing his signature orange-lensed shades even though the sky was darkening, is holding a nearly empty soju bottle, using it as an impromptu microphone. “Are you guys ready to move it?” He points around at the others with an hilariously determined look on his face, slightly stumbling. “Let’s go!” He cheers just before the first verse starts, immediately going into singing the words into the bottle.
“Oh god,” Yeosang laughs, facepalming in embarrassment. He starts laughing even harder when Jongho lets go of him to go join them, his dancing just as silly as the others’ even though he was definitely the least drunk out of the four of them.
“Isn’t this that song from Madagascar?” San laughs, watching the four of them with the biggest, fondest smile on his face. His shoulders are shaking to the beat, his head bopping.
“I haven’t heard this song in so long, holy shit,” Hongjoong cackles, watching as Wooyoung jumps and dances around the two of them. He can’t stop laughing as he’s forced to dance when Wooyoung grabs his waist and moves it side to side, the younger practically jumping.
“Come on, you gotta move it!” Wooyoung laughs, his words slightly slurred.
At the same time, Yunho is dancing around Seonghwa, the speaker now on the table. Seonghwa is watching him with the widest, open-mouthed smile, squealing when Yunho grabs their hand and pulls them into a standing position. He’s got his hands around their waist now, guiding them to move to the beat with a beaming smile.
“Jesus christ, how much did you guys drink? We haven't even eaten dinner yet!” They laugh.
“Uh,” Yunho pants, “totally not that much. Woo wanted to do a couple of shots,” he says, leaning into Seonghwa as he laughs.
Seonghwa stumbles back slightly from Yunho’s body weight, chuckling. “Only a couple?”
“Okay, maybe more than a couple,” he breathlessly giggles. “We got just a little carried away.”
Seonghwa laughs, shaking their head. “Yeah, clearly.”
Just a couple feet away from them, Mingi had chosen Yeosang as his target, trying to get the younger to dance with him. Yeosang is frantically shaking his head, his smile wide and his laughter loud as he’s trying to escape from Mingi’s hold. He starts laughing even harder when Mingi makes his voice go deeper to impersonate ‘Moto Moto’, nearly doubling over. Eventually he caves, bouncing side to side along with Mingi, still wrapped up in his arms.
Jongho and Wooyoung start a conga line, with Jongho in the lead, his gummy smile bright and wide. Laughing, San sets the plate down by the grill to join, hands resting on Wooyoung’s waist. Then Yunho joins, then Seonghwa, and finally Mingi and Yeosang. Hongjoong is still standing by the grill, cackling as he’s watching them circle around him. He’s nearly in tears, his cheeks hurting from cheesing so hard.
‘Somebody say ho!’
“Ho!” They all cheer along, including Hongjoong.
‘Say ho, ho!’
“Ho, ho!”
‘Back it up, back it up, back it up, back it up, back it up.’
Even Seonghwa and Yeosang were dancing now, letting loose to the music as they’re bouncing around with the others, bumping their hips together and even shaking their asses in their own ways.
‘Somebody say yeah!’
“Yeah!”
‘Say yeah, yeah!’
“Yeah, yeah!”
‘Back it up.’
Wooyoung and Seonghwa decide to back it up on Hongjoong, hopping closer to him with their asses facing him. Hongjoong can barely breathe from laughing so hard, setting the tongs he was holding down to act like he was throwing money at them. Yunho was in between Jongho and Mingi, hopping and bumping hips with them, alternating between the two every other hop. San and Yeosang are dancing along with each other, doing their own little silly dances while facing each other.
They don’t stop dancing until the song ends, all of them bursting into breathless laughing when Mingi and Wooyoung both dramatically collapse to the ground, their chests heaving.
“Alright, the meat’s done, let’s sit and eat,” Hongjoong laughs, placing the meat on the plate.
“Ugh, I don’t wanna get up,” Wooyoung laughs, sticking his arms up and making grabby hands, waiting for someone to help him up. Jongho comes to his rescue, grabbing his hands and purposefully yanking him up so hard that it has Wooyoung stumbling into his chest with a yelp. Jongho laughs, wrapping his arms around his waist and grinning. Wooyoung giggles, resting his hands on Jongho’s neck and pulling him in for a kiss.
After dinner, they stay in the backyard, having an impromptu little party with fun, upbeat music blasting from San’s speaker, and several bottles of soju and a few other drinks. They party and dance and play drinking games well into the night, until it’s nearing three in the morning and they’re all ready to collapse into bed.
Drunk off their asses, Wooyoung and Yunho are the first two to retreat to their rooms and pass out in Wooyoung and Seonghwa’s bed together. Mingi and San are using the other to stay upright, stumbling up to the second floor and into their room. Jongho leaves after saying a quick goodnight to the rest, and the last three, the least drunk out of them all, stay behind to clean up as much as they could before they were ready to succumb to their exhaustion. Seonghwa goes up their room, smiling fondly at the sight of Wooyoung and Yunho passed out in the bed. They walk over, pulling the discarded covers over the two of them and giving them both forehead kisses.
After changing into their pajamas, Seonghwa decides to go into Jongho and Yunho’s room, crawling into the bed and snuggling up to Jongho.
Jongho hums, groggily lifting his head and sleepily smiling over at them. “Hmm, Yunho’s in your room?”
“Mhm. Passed out with Woo.” Seonghwa yawns, nuzzling their head in Jongho’s neck.
“Yeah,” Jongho chuckles, draping an arm around their shoulders and pulling them closer. “They both drank a lot tonight.”
“Hmm,” Seonghwa simply responds, already on the verge of falling asleep in Jongho’s cozy hold.
“Nighty night,” Jongho yawns out, the two succumbing to sleep very shortly after.
