From all the unseen;
[Cut to the Red Ranger using his Pyro Saber to slash away at several Batlzers, blocking two more, before knocking them back with a firewave. Cut to the Blue Ranger using his Sea Lance to strike at a Batlzers, before spinning around and slashing all at remaning footsolidiers.]

[Cut to the Yellow Ranger slashing at the cockpit of a robotic tank with his Savanna Claws, knocking it down, before leaping into the air to drop kick another Batlzer.]

Sports Festival - Corridor
"So, you overheard everything?" Sora hummed questiongly.
After Izuku accidentally revealed his eavesdropping, both he and Sora now stood in the hallway where he explained everything. There was still a couple of minutes before the freckled teen's match, so they'd figure they talk about Shoto's story.
"Basically..." Izuku admitted embarrassingly, rubbing his head. "I-I know that I shouldn't have, but when Todoroki pulled you away like that, I thought a fight was going to happen between you two. So I kinda kept close by..."
The Red Ranger waved him off. "It's fine, Izuku; don't worry about it. Honestly, I'm kinda surprised that he didn't bring you along, considering that he declared 'war' on you too."
"Well, based on his story, you forced him to use his flames during the Cavalry Battle." Izuku shrugged. "Maybe that's it."
"Seems so." Sora acknowledged. "Speaking of, you got plan against him?"
"Honestly...I don't know." Izuku replied to Sora's surprise, letting out a deep sigh, "Todoroki's strong, and I'm definitely at a disadvantage..." he pointed out, balling his right hand into a fist. "But even so..." he continued, "I'll do what I can to win," he stated firmly, "That's what I vowed to do," he added.
"Izuku..." Sora uttered out, before giving him a proud look. "In that case, I'll be rooting for you, bud. And if you do somehow beat Todoroki, don't forget to give everything you've got if you and I find ourselves going up against each other in the next round." He declared before holding out his fist for a fist bump.
"Sora..." Izuku blinked in surprise, though he smiled with determination as he returns the fist bump. "Right!"
"AAHHH, OOHH! KIRISHIMA OR TETSUTETSU? WHO'S GOING TO MOVE ON!?" Both boys were startled by Present Mic's loud announcement from the screen.
["WHOEVER WINS THIS ARM-WRESTLE WILL ADVANCE TO THE SECOND ROUND!"]
Out on the repaired ring, Kirishima and Tetsutetsu were engaged in an intense arm-wrestling game.
Both had their right hands tightly grabbing the other's, and were using all their strength to push their opponent's hand down. Their left hands grabbing onto the cement table Cementos created so hard that their fingers had broken into it. Midnight and Cementoss were standing beside the boys, watching.
The crowd cheered for either boy as the match went on for a minute now. However, it was over when the iron on Tetsutetsu's hand cracked and broke.
He grunted in pain, giving Kirishima the advantage. He yelled out a roar, before slamming Tetsutetsu's hand down on the table, cracking it.
"Kirishima is the winner! Add him to the bracket."
Kirishima threw his fist up in the air. "YEAHHHHHHHH!"
["Kirishima's earned his place in the second round!"]
Tetsutetsu was on one knee while clenching his right wrist in pain. "GAHHHH! I ran out of metals! Should have put some more iron in my diet today!" He grunted. A pair of boot covered feet stepped in front of him, making the silver-haired look up.
Kirishima stood before him and held out a hand. The sun shining on him and his face was even twinkling. "Hey man, you put up a good fight."
Tetsutetsu looked away with a scoff, as the same effect was done for him. He accepted the hand, making Midnight squeal. "Oh! So chivalrous!"
["We now have our full lineup for the second round! With that said, let's get right to it!"]
"Looks like it's time." Sora spoke, his eyes slightly narrowed.
"Yeah..." Izuku said with a determined expression. "Well, I better get going then."
"Make sure you give him one for me in the ring."
"I will." Izuku promised, before making his way down the corridor and disappearing around a corner.
As Sora turned and started walking down the hallway, he became lost in his thoughts. It had been nearly an hour or so since he heard anything from Ayumi and the others. Sure, he was focused on the Festival and he knew for a fact that they could handle themselves just fine. But he couldn't help but wonder if they ran into some kind of trouble.
"Maybe I should check in, just to be sure." Sora said to himself as he held up his Morpher-clad arm and reached for the 'Call' button...
However, he was taken from his thoughts when a massive figure stepped out of the corner of another hallway to his right.
It was the Number Two Hero Endeavor. Sora blinked in shock when he saw just how close he was to him. Looking up at him with wide eyes that were a mix of shock.
"Endeavor?" He blurted out on instinct.
Endeavor glanced at the Red Ranger, before turning the corner completely as a scowl grew on his face. "Oh, you're one of those 'Power Rangers' brats from the news."
This surprised Sora a bit, but when his conversation with Todoroki entered back into his head, he looked up at the man with a small scowl. This may be the Second Best Hero, but he was still a scumbag.
"I'm actually surprised you're still in U.A." The man glared intensely.
"Is that right? And why is that?" Sora asked in a neutral tone. He was in no mood to talk with Endeavor, especially with everything going on.
Endeavor said with a scowl. "I made my request to the Board of Education to have you and your vigilante group removed from UA, but that fool Nezu remains firm in his decision to allow you and the others to stay at UA. People like you, who don't have a Quirk, will only get in the way of my son. It is his duty to surpass All Might and become the new Number One hero. It's unthinkable to have children like you in the same school as him."
Sora clenched his fist. Was the number two hero in Japan really telling him that he and the other Rangers had no place in UA? Sure, they could have just joined the General Studies course, but Nezu gave him and the Rangers the chance to become heroes, even if it was just to complete their mission and protect their fellow students.
"I refuse to rely on my old man's Fire Quirk. You see, I'm going to show him that I reject his power, and take first place without using it."
Those words from Todoroki echoed in Sora's head. His anger for what the Hero did to his son filled him.
"Those without Quirks should remain on the sidelines. You should just give up and leave the hero work to us real heroes. Those of us who don't need flashy suits or oversized robots to defeat villains, especially those new ones." Endeavor started walking away. Sora, however, wasn't going to let him go without saying a few choice of words.
"Wow, I didn't know you cared, Endeavor. Thanks for the concern, but I think we're fine where we are." Sora said, his hair overshadowing his eyes. "Besides, we don't cause property damage like some heroes out there."
Hearing this, Endeavor stop and looked back at him with a scowl. "This isn't a joke, boy! People will die if you continue to treat this as a game! Either you get that through your head or..."
"You listen here, you sonofabitch!" Sora snapped growled out. "A game!? Wha the hell do you know about us? Do you think every monster we defeat grants us experience points that unlocks new weapons?" He snarled. "I've never once seen this as a game, me or the other Rangers! Not all heroes have to have a quirk and there are some things that heroes like you can't do. Your flame quirk is powerful, but it's not the ideal quirk for every situation. Besides, one spark and you could set an entire forest on fire. Then again, that's coming from the guy that sees his son as nothing but a tool and a means to an end because he's just Second Best!"
"How dare you...!" Endeavor snarled, though he stopped short as Sora looked over his shoulder and glared right back at Endeavor with a ominous, glowing red eye.
"Todoroki might be your son...but he sure as hell isn't you."
And with that, he walked away. Not bothering to wait for a reply as he intented to see the upcoming match for himself.
Warehouse District
Meanwhile, the Rangers and the White Dino Ranger clone all spotted the new Ranger standing against a railing on a set of steps for a crane.
"Who is that?" Reina wondered.
"I don't know." Cyrus said.
"Another Ranger?" Ayumi questioned.
"Where did he even come from?" Kiba asked. "And where he did get that awesome shield?"
The Ranger figure then tossed his blaster in the air, before he stood up straight and caught it in midair. He soon looked down at the battlefield, then stared down at the Rangers.
"Hmm..." The Ranger figure spoke in a masculine tone. "You're an colorful bunch."
Command Chamber
"Ai-yi-yi-yi!" Alpha exclaimed in awe. "Katrina! Solon! Look, it's another Ranger!"
"Seeing, still working on the believing part." The latter uttered, turning her gaze to Katrina. "Did you know about this?"
The A.I shook her head. "No, I've never seen him before." She mumbled as she kept her eyes on the new Ranger. 'Yet why...?'
"What's this? Another Hero Ranger?!" The Ranger Clone exclaimed.
"Hmph, please." The new Ranger scoffed, as he walked down the flight of steps. "I am more than just a Ranger. I am the Paladin Ranger, and don't even bother to try to remember that because this fight will be your last."
"I don't care what you call yourself! I'm calling you destroyed!!" The clone shouted, holding his hands up and shooting white lasers from them.
"Give me a break." The now Paladin Ranger scoffed as he jumped off the crane, just at the last hit the structure, causing explosions to go off behind him.
The new Ranger then forward flipped in the air and soon landed on the ground in front of the Rangers as he looked at the clone.
In Space - Alsatia's ship
Everyone was all watching the new Ranger arrived in the viewing globe.
"Another Power Ranger!" Scrozzle exclaimed, holding his hand. "What's going on here?!"
"I don't recall there being a sixth one in this world." Ernesh grunted lowly.
"Well, this is certainly a surprise." Alsatia commented in a shocked tone.
"No worries, my Queen!" The robot sputtered as he moved over to the controls. "I'll send out some Batzlers to overwhelm him!"
Soon, a bunch of Batzlers appeared within the area, as everyone looked at them.
"Batzlers!" Cyrus exclaimed out.
"I don't recall requesting help." The clone spat.
The Paladin Ranger cracked his knuckles casually as he marched forward. "I could use a warm-up."
He then kicked one Batzler in the arm, then kicked another in the chest, before moving his leg back and kicked a third in the chest. He then tried to trip a fourth up with his arm, but missed as it jumped, then he punched a fifth in the chest, then spun around to kick a sixth in the head, but missed as it ducked, but then he spun around and tackled it, knocking it down and causing it to sparkle.
"He's good." Reina complimented.
"I won't argue there." Cyrus agreed.
"Same." Kiba admitted.
"Next?" the Ranger asked, turning to more of the Batzlers.
One grunt then tried to punch him, but he blocked it, then blocked another punch from it, followed by another, then he grabbed its arm, lifted it up, and then hit it in the chest with his elbow, knocking it down. He then spun around and tackled another one, then blocked a kick from a third, followed by another, then blocked a punch from it by grabbing its arm, and then flipped it over.
"Why haven't we seen him before?" Ayumi wondered, as the Ranger spun around to kick another Batzler.
"I'm not sure. The news never mentioned anything about a 'Paladin Ranger'." Cyrus pointed out.
Back in the fight, the new Ranger lifted his arms up and hit two Batzlers at the same time. He then did it again to two more grunts, and then another two. Just then, three Batzlers were about to hit him with their claws, but they suddenly stopped as the new Ranger reached behind him and and pulled out a most unusual weapon, a double-barrel shotgun.
"Ice Saber! Blaster Mode!" He shouted, holding it up.
He pressed a button on its side, then spun around in a circle while firing it, hitting all Batzlers, knocking it down. He then stopped, turned and fired it again, hitting another five, then he turned around and fired again, hitting another. He then turned to some more as they came at him.
"Not enough, huh?" he said. "Ice Saber, Blade Mode!"
He pressed the button on it, then he held it out, before a blade retracted out of it, then its handle pulled back, turning it into blade mode as the blade was a cyan color. A Gunblade.
He held it up diagonally, then jumped up and dived down towards the remaining Batzlers.
He slashed one down the chest, then slashed another in the arm while dashing past it, then slashed a third while backing away, followed by a fourth as it came at him. He then slashed a fifth, then spun around and tackled a sixth, then slashed a seventh with his blade, followed by an eighth, and then an ninth as he ran forward. He slashed the ninth one again, then spun around and kicked it, knocking it down, then he turned to a tenth, then knocked it aside by hitting its weapon with his blade, then he kicked a 11th, then he spun around and tackled the tenth.
After disposing of all the grunts, the new Ranger turned his attention to the clone as they stared each other down.
"You certainly are strong against Alsatia's Batzlers, but I doubt that you're strong enough against the power of my Battlizer!" The clone bellowed, charging another large ball of black and white power between them and unleashed it all with one explosive blast.
*BOOM!*
There was another powerful explosion as it seemed the blast made contact. But what happened made all everyones' eyes widen in shock. But none were more shocked than the clone himself.
The Paladin Ranger had stood his ground... and caught the blast with his left hand!
The ground below him was blown apart from the impact, but he hadn't budged an inch from where he stood. All the gathered energy that the clone had built up and the new guy took it like it was nothing.
"Do I look like I need a Battlizer to defeat you?" He said, before using his weapon to slice the attack in half.
"What!?" The clone gaped in shock. "Impossible!"
"No." The Ranger retorted before charging at him. "You're just weak."
The clone growled angrily at that. "I'll show you who's weak!" He roared, charging to at his new foe as well.
Both combatants met halfway as the Paladin Ranger blocked the clone's Tupuxuara tail arm with his hand, then blocked the Tupuxuara head arm with it, before he grabbed it with his other hand. He pulled it down, making the clone move, then pulled it up slightly, before he spun around and punched the clone's chest, sending him flying away, before he hit the ground on his back.
"Diamond Dust!" The Ranger shouted, pulling his fist back.
The clone pulled himself up, before the new Ranger punched the ground, summoning large icicles that rose from the ground and slammed into him, making sparks come up in front of him.
"AHH!" The clone moaned.
"Incredible!" Solon commented in awe at the new Ranger's new abilities.
"Look at him go!" Alpha cheered on as he waved his arms around.
Katrina looked on with an intense gaze. 'Ice Manipulation? And those moves... Why do they look so familiar?'
The clone stumbled back, then held up his Tupuxuara head arm as it glowed, before he slashed it from left to right, sending a beam at the Ranger.
The new Ranger ducked and ran past it, then somersaulted over the clone, who turned and sent another at him, before he spun his body around and landed on the ground. He turned to the clone and moved to punch him, as he spun around and blocked it with his Tupuxuara tail arm, then he punched the arm away, then grabbed the clone's chest. He spun around while holding the clone, before he threw him up and away.
"OH!" The clone yelped, back flipping away.
The Ranger jumped and twirled around towards him as he shot down, then kicked his chest, sending him flying into some debris.
"OOOHHH!" The clone moaned.
The new Ranger landed several inches from him with his Ice Saber drawn once more. "Had enough?" he asked.
The clone pulled himself up and clutched his chest. "Never!" he roared.
"Good answer!" The Paladin Ranger warned as he ran forward. "Time to end this."
"Begone!" The clone bellowed out and held his arms forward to fire energy blasts at the Paladin Ranger, who kept charging towards him.
"AHH!" he yelled, as an explosion went off behind her.
More went off as he jumped up slightly, then he stopped. "Freeze!" he shouted, thrusting his palm forward to send burst of ice forward and froze the clone soild in ice.
"AH!" The clone grunted.
"Cyro Strike!" The Paladin Ranger called out, holding up his Ice Saber as the blade lit up bright blue. He held the blade up over him, then in front of him as he charged forward.
The clone could do nothing as the Ranger charged at him, then slashed him across the chest. He then turned around (with a background of a roaring blizzard) and slashed the frozen opponent twice in an X shape, making lightning come out of him as he spun around.
"AHH!" he moaned.
"And that was just the tip of the iceberg." The Ranger declared, turning around and put the Ice Saber on his shoulder.
"AHH!" The clone moaned, as sparks came out of him. "T-This isn't over!"
Lightning came out of him, before he up in a block of frozen wind, then an explosion went off behind him.
The Paladin Ranger let out a sigh as the other Rangers ran up to him.
"Unbelievable." Ayumi said.
"That was crazy." Kiba remarked, as they stopped behind him
"You were amazing." Cyrus commented.
"Who are you?" Reina asked, pointing at him.
"I believe I established that already." The Paladin Ranger said, turning around to them.
"No, she meant who you are underneath the helmet." Kiba clarified.
The new Ranger snorted. "Why would I reveal myself to people that I don't know?"
"Well, to be honest, we're really curious about you since you saved us." Cyrus replied with a shrug.
"Don't get the wrong idea." The Ranger dismissed with a thought. "I didn't come here out of the goodness of my heart, I was merely requested to do so."
"Requested?" Kiba blinked in confusion.
"Why don't we work together?" Cyrus suggested.
"Yeah!" Ayumi inquired, walking forward. "Since you came here to help us, that means we're all fighting for the same thing, aren't we?"
"You have no idea what I'm fighting for!" The Paladin Ranger snarled, turning to her. "You don't know me at all."
"If you're still unsure about telling us who you are, we could introduce ourselves to you and you could do the same. Does that sound fair to you?" Ayumi suggested, taking as step forward.
The Ranger only let out a annoyed growl. "You're wasting your time. Walk away, now."
"But-" Ayumi began, only for the new Ranger to snarl and push her towards the others, Kiba catching her as she almost fell.
"Like I mentioned beforeYou have no idea what I'm fighting for!" The new Ranger spoke, before he began to walk away from the group, clearly done talking.
"Hey!" Reina shouted in anger, running after him.
"Rei, wait!" Cyrus cried.
Reina grabbed the Ranger's shoulder, but he brushed Reina's hand off.
"You can't just leave without telling us why you're here and who are you!" Reina snapped, grabbing his shoulder.
Without saying a word, the Ranger slapped Reina's hand off again, then he turned and elbowed her in the stomach.
"Ugh!" Reina moaned, clutching it, as she fell to his knees.
"Reina!" Kiba gasped. "Hey, what's your problem!?"
He and the others all ran towards the figure, as Ayumi held Reina while Kiba and Cyrus stood in front of the girls, ready to fight.
"No, wait!" Ayumi begged, wrapping her arms around Reina and trying to stop a fight from breaking out.
The Paladin Ranger stopped and turned to them. "Don't try and follow me." He simply said, turning around and jumping up, making the Rangers look up. They all then ran forward as he landed on top of a tower, before they stopped and looked at him as he disappeared from their view.
"What was that about?" Kiba wondered.
"You got me." Cyrus said, confused.
Ayumi turned to Reina. "You okay?" she asked.
"Yeah." Reina replied, as she stood up straight and glared at the Paladin Ranger's previous location.
"What a hardcase." She huffed, folding her arms.
Command Chamber
"Well, that was beyond rude!" Alpha exclaimed, shocked by what the Paladin Ranger did to the Rangers, especially Ayumi and Reina.
Solon nodded in agreement. "Even if he is a new Ranger, he has quite the agreesive temper. We should be careful around him until we know what he's after and whose side he's on."
Katrina, however, could only narrow her eyes at the Paladin Ranger's interaction towards the Rangers. 'This new Ranger. The way he fights...the way he acts...why does it all remind me of..."him"?'
