Summary
Many years ago, a virus wiped out most of humanity by causing a widespread outbreak of infertility, forcing the few remaining humans to genetically blend with a certain breed of wolf in order to survive, creating a hybrid species: half human, half lupine. And finally, the first fertile Omegas emerged, saving humanity and successfully repopulating the planet. Once the crisis was over, society was rebuilt on new foundations. The new humans are now divided into three different castes: the Betas are the majority, normal humans who haven't undergone any significant genetic alterations; the Alphas, who are stronger and more capable, are the leaders, charged with fertilizing and protecting the Omegas and their offspring; and the Omegas, who in turn are largely responsible for perpetuating the species, and are therefore denied any rights that might distract them from this sacred function.
It is in this society of very rigid customs that the fate of a powerful Alpha, Gellert Grindelwald, will cross with that of an Omega, Albus Dumbledore. Gellert wants to marry a good Omega who can give him lots of children. But Albus has other plans...
