🧩 Loves scented soaps and body gels but doesn’t want anyone to be able to smell him. He would hate to get bullied for smelling like fruit and candy. So he only uses ivory bar soap. Cheap and it works. But he’ll buy the fruity candy stuff for you so you fill his space with dreamy scents.
🧩 Does use one scented product. Timber Old Spice gel deodorant. It’s subtle but makes him feel a little manly. (He would never admit it tho)
🧩 Uses Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 shampoo. It’s an economical choice that eliminates the embarrassing possibility of dandruff
🧩 Very self conscious about being smelly or dirty. He learned from his time in the orphanage and foster homes that being dirty or smelly will get you bullied
🧩 Uses a washcloth, dingy and raggedy but clean
🧩 Uses a nail brush when washing his hands at home. Keeps them looking clean and easily removes any evidence
🧩 Showers every morning. Helps to wake him up from the half sleep he’s been in all night. Depending on his mood and the cooperation of the ancient plumbing, the showers are either icy cold or unbearably hot.
🧩 But each Friday night he has a bath. He crams himself into the too small tub and tries to cover himself in the hot water the best he can.
🧩 Sometimes he has a cigarette in the bath
🧩 He hates the trip to Supercuts every three months to get his hair cut. Having a stranger that close to him and touching his head is agony. He has to remove his glasses and that makes him feel vulnerable. He can’t even wear an earbud to let Reneé sooth him. He has to grit his teeth and get through it. He never pays extra for a shampoo.
