Astarion Oneshots^^

Summary:

A compilation of random thoughts and squabbles I had of my current fictional hyperfixation

(guys I'm cooked first it was Light Yagami now it's Astarion why am I so obsessed with these red-eyed freaks/affectionate) 😔💔

AKA, fluff

maybe I'll write something more explicit if someone asks for it but I'm not very experienced with writing that

Notes:

Astarion misses the sun after the tadpole left his brain and you have an ability that may help him feel UV warmth again

Chapter 1: He misses the biggest 'Star' of all (wink wink)

Chapter Text

You don't know what you are to Astarion, but you care about him.

After the mind flayers have been extracted, he expresses how much he misses the sun, and you practice honing your powers for weeks.

Once you feel confident enough in your ability to conserve the warmth you absorb from the sun, you make your way to Astarion's tent at night.

"Darling? You know I always love seeing your beautiful face, but--what brings you here tonight? If you want to-"

You smile, cutting him off abruptly with that soft look in your eyes. Astarion raises a curious, perfectly arched brow as you step in quietly.

He smirks and props himself up on his elbows, clearly thinking you're here for another night of fun, but before he can get out a single tease, you kneel down and wrap your arms around him.

He freezes, unused to being treated so gently. "D-Darling... what are you doing?" You don't reply, just silently using your stored heat source to warm his cool skin.

Without realizing it himself, he relaxes. Not leaning into your embrace, but not pulling away either.

You still say nothing, slowly lying beside him, letting him relish the feeling of the sun through you.

He hums, before hesitantly wrapping his arms around you in return.

"Do you mind if I stay here for the night?" You ask against his shirt.

He doesn't respond immediately, breathing in your scent for a moment before softly, so quiet you wouldn't have heard it if you weren't explicitly listening for an answer,

"Please do.."
