It is a universal truth that nothing is eternal in the human world. People die, empires rise and fall into oblivion and cultures change. It is the natural evolution of life. It is also a universal truth, that there is always an exception that proves the rule. Aeranas is that exception. A 900 year old Empire blessed by the stars.

Seonghwa was forced into a human body centuries ago, by the greed of humans grasping at eternity, taken from the night sky and given the curse of life. He has been their slave ever since, forced into the role of a god with invisible chains.
Hongjoong has lost everything in the name of a tyrannical deity. His mother, his village, his innocence. He was forced to grow up fighting for his life, forced to grow up angry. Now holding an important role in a rebel movement, he has the power to do something. He wants change, but mostly, he wants revenge.
When an opportunity presents itself for the first time in centuries to capture and maybe kill the Star God, Hongjoong doesn’t hesitate. However they will both find the truth is much more complicated than history made it seem.
