practically everyone at night raven college knew about floyds mood swings, how quickly he could go from playful and happy to angry, and scary, but very, very few people (azul and jade) knew how quickly he could go from happy and playful to depressed, and he was not having a great day today, he woke up sad, everything felt heavy, like everything was weighing on him, and he fucking hated it, but he had classes to get to, so he dragged himself out of bed and got ready for school as he usually did.

floyd was quiet, jade had noticed relatively early on into the day, and a quiet floyd was almost never a good thing, it usually meant he was either bored, which typically led to him getting up to some shenanigans, he was upset about something, or he was pouting, but he when floyd was pouting he was quite present, glancing at azul and jade himself when he thought they weren't looking, trying to get their attention, to get them to ask him what he was pouting about, and he didn't seem like he was plotting something to keep himself entertained, he seemed zoned out, very in his own head, which told jade almost exactly what was wrong.
at lunch he watched as his brother just sat there, zoned out, he gently placed a hand on his brothers arm, grounding him, and non-verbally telling him he was here for him, that he could tell that something was wrong without forcing floyd to talk about it, knowing he would talk when he was ready, floyd looked at his brother and leaned against his side snuggling against his side
"are you gonna eat?" he asked gently, not judging, it wasn't an interrogation, just concern.
floyd shook his head
"not hungry." and it wasn't like when azul used to say he wasn't hungry as an excuse to not eat, when he was worried about his own appearance, he knew he meant it, he genuinely wasn't hungry, which in and of itself was a little concerning, but there wasn't much he could do about it so he just hummed in acknowledgment, wrapping an arm around his brother.

azul, floyd and jade were in the vip room of the mostro lounge, azul at his desk, working on some kind of paperwork, probably expenses for the lounge, and jade and floyd were on the couch, when floyd, once again snuggled against his brothers side, floyd's main love language was physical affection, and was somewhat clingy on a good day, so it made sense for him to be a little extra clingy when he was having a shitty day.
azul looked up from his paperwork, seeing floyd snuggled against his twins side, which was normal, but how quiet he was was not.
"Whats wrong?" He mouthed at jade
"Bad day." He mouthed back.
Azul made a sympathetic face before getting up from his desk and sitting next to the twins on the couch.
"Mind if i join you two?"
Floyd shook his head.
Azul leaned against floyd, and floyd relaxed a bit more
The three of them just sat like that for a while, until floyd got up and sat on jades other side, laying down arcoss jade and azuls laps, his head in azuls.
Azul smiled down at floyd and ran a hand through his hair, and floyd leaned into his touch.
he still felt like shit, but it wasn't as overwhelming with the support of azul and jade.
