Work Text:
In the middle of the year 1999, on arriving at the Morioh Grand Hotel, Kujo Jotaro encountered a face he hadn’t seen for ten years.
Kakyoin Noriaki. A popular artist with a deep-rooted interest in video games, who seemed just as shocked to see Jotaro as Jotaro was to see him.
It was a chance meeting. One that neither had anticipated. Kakyoin had arrived at Morioh in search of artistic inspiration, and Jotaro had arrived to take care of Old Joseph’s business. It just so happened that their arrival had clashed with each other’s stay at the Hotel.
Ten years ago, Kakyoin Noriaki had said to Kujo Jotaro ‘Let’s end it here, Jojo. We will reach nowhere with this relationship.’
It was too abrupt, too sudden, and Kakyoin hadn’t even given Jotaro a chance to come to terms with the break-up by leaving for his overseas university the very next day.
That was the last time they saw each other after the bizarre adventure they had had on their way to Egypt.
Until now, when fate seemingly just thrust them back into each other's lives again.
“Really, Jotaro.”
Kakyoin was already waiting for him at the Hotel by the time Jotaro returned from his ‘deadly’ hunting game.
For a moment, Jotaro was really annoyed. Not at Kakyoin, but at Josuke. He specifically told the lad to not mention a word of it to Kakyoin…but as expected, the young man had likely been easily coerced into confession by Kakyoin.
Jotaro cleared his throat, walking past Kakyoin towards his hotel room, “It was nothing.” He muttered, but then paused as a flash of green light blocked his path. Hierophant Green.
“You nearly died to a rat.”
“Two rats.” Jotaro corrected him in a low voice, but Kakyoin went on,
“This is why I asked to come with you— Hierophant Green could have really helped, you know? But instead, you wanted to take Josuke. A teenager who knows nothing–”
Jotaro turned around, fixing Kakyoin with a pointed look, as if reminding him what exactly they had been through as teenagers.
Kakyoin paused, obviously understanding the unspoken accusation. He fell silent, as if realising now that he likely did not have the same right to berate Jotaro as he did a decade ago. He recalled Hierophant Green, clearing his throat as he made his way back towards his own room,
“At least next time…….” He muttered as he turned to return to his own room, “....tell me beforehand. Even if….we are not the same as before. I would still always support you…..as a friend.”
As a friend. Jotaro almost wanted to laugh. To hear the man who was his first love still insist on calling him that.
The greatest evil of Morioh, Kira Yoshikage, was dead.
Jotaro, and the rest of the stand users had defeated him.
Kakyoin hadn’t been present. Because Jotaro had, once again, refused to inform him of a possibly life-threatening confrontation with a very dangerous man.
“I am glad you are okay,” Kakyoin said as soon as he saw him back at the hotel, arms crossed over his chest, an obviously upset expression on his face, “But I suppose I have no right to say that. Given that in your eyes, I don’t even deserve to know what’s happening in your life.”
Jotaro pursed his lips, silent.
Kakyoin seemed even more irritated by the reaction, “Do you…..really hate me that much now, Jotaro?” He asked with a wry smile, almost as if he was accepting his fate, “Right…..alright. Our meeting here was just chance, wasn’t it? Perhaps you never wanted to see me again, after what happened last time—”
While Kakyoin was speaking, Jotaro had already walked forward, close enough that Kakyoin’s words faltered as he was suddenly grabbed by Jotaro’s big bulky hands and pushed to the wall.
“Jotaro–” He began.
“Why?” Jotaro asked him, looking up, so that his gaze could properly assess Kakyoin’s face, “Why do you still care about me? Didn’t you say it yourself back then— that you wanted to sever all ties between us?”
Kakyoin’s breath hitched on hearing that. A guilty look entered his eyes as he averted his gaze, “Even though I said that…..” He muttered, “You were still my closest friend once—”
“Friend?” Jotaro grit his teeth, impatience evident in his voice, “Kakyoin, did you forget?” He asked him, leaning down closer, “Did you forget all that time we spent together—back on that shitty trip to Egypt? Did you forget all that happened after we returned?”
Kakyoin seemed distressed on hearing that, but he did not reply, and Jotaro went on, “Even if it was that easy for you to forget it all….” He said, his coarse voice displaying a rare hint of vulnerability, “I could not forget it. I can never forget it—”
“And you think it’s not that same for me?!” Kakyoin yelled suddenly, looking up at Jotaro with a heartbroken look in his eyes, “I admit–I was wrong, I was stubborn, I was a coward. So I hid from my feelings and ran away. But really, Jotaro–at least you….at least you were able to move on long enough to marry and have a child!” It seemed it was a grievance he had kept buried for a long while now, “You—you really…..” His voice trembled, and he looked down, “It doesn’t matter.” He said suddenly, as if defeated, “You don’t even trust me enough to fight with me anymore.”
Jotaro swallowed, and released Kakyoin, but he did not move back. After a long moment of silence where neither of them moved, Jotaro finally spoke up first, adjusting his hat, “I was scared.” He admitted.
Kakyoin looked up, “What?”
Jotaro cleared his throat, an awkward look on his face, “I was scared. Because….of what happened back then— I get nightmares, of the fight with Dio….of what happened to you….I….I did not want to see something like that repeat again.”
Kakyoin almost wanted to laugh. He covered his face, “So you don’t have faith in my Stand abilities anymore.”
“That’s not it,” Jotaro said, “I just want to keep you away from a threat like that again, Kakyoin.”
Kakyoin grit his teeth, “You don’t get to decide that for me, Jotaro,” He said, upset, “I heard of what happened—how reckless you were, and if Koichi-kun wasn’t there, what do you think could have happened? What were you planning to do?”
Jotaro did not answer.
Kakyoin could not bear it any longer, “I understand now. It’s been ten years, so it doesn’t matter what I have to say. To you, I am just a stranger now.” With that, he decided the conversation was over, he walked past Jotaro, saying one last sentence, “I am leaving tomorrow morning. You don’t ever have to see me again, Jota–” Kakyoin’s words were cut off as he felt a tight grip on his arm, he looked back, “Jotaro? What are you doing?”
“Kakyoin,” Jotaro turned to look at him, “Tell me, honestly, did our relationship really mean nothing to you?” His question was serious and the expression on his face was sombre—indiscernible as always.
Kakyoin’s first instinct was to lie, but….in truth, he had been running away long enough. This time he chose the truth.
“It meant everything to me Jotaro,” He admitted to his former friend with a sad smile, “You were my first friend—and the first man I fell in love with, and my first kiss— it would be impossible to not feel anything after all this, right? But then I realised, even if it hurt me, that you did not belong to me, Jotaro. There were bigger things ahead for you—” Kakyoin paused as he felt Jotaro’s grip tighten on his arm. This time when he looked up, he barely had time to react before he was pulled forward into a harsh kiss.
Kakyoin……..despite all his reluctance, melted into the action, too stunned to move while Jotaro’s hand grabbed his head and tilted his chin upwards to deepen the kiss. Kakyoin did not resist initially, the long-buried hunger in his body reacting as he subconsciously kissed Jotaro back. But then, eventually, he realised what he was doing. Kakyoin pulled away, gasping, but Jotaro was reluctant to let go of him. Kakyoin, with his flushed face, shook his head as Jotaro tried to kiss him again, “Jotaro no—”
“Don’t you love me anymore, Kakyoin?” Jotaro asked him, “Tell me—if you truly don’t feel the same way, then we can forget all about what happened here and go back to the way we were—strangers.”
It felt like a deja vu. Kakyoin had heard something similar from Jotaro a decade ago. And back then, he had lied. Very cruelly and harshly, he had broken both his heart and Jotaro’s.
Kakyoin breathed in, steeling himself to do that again. But Jotaro’s next sentence made him realise something,
“But if you are lying,” Jotaro said, leaning close, a determined look in his eyes, “Then I will kiss you again, and again. Until you are willing to admit the truth.”
Kakyoin widened his eyes, blushing as he turned away, “Jotaro, you don’t know—-mmgfh.” It seemed Jotaro wasn’t lying, at least, as he really did kiss Kakyoin again, “Jotaro–” Kakyoin gasped out as Jotaro pinned him to the wall, “I–don’t—”
“You are lying, Kakyoin,” Jotaro said near his ear, “If you aren’t, then why is Hierophant Green reacting along with you to what I am doing?”
Kakyoin, alarmed, opened his eyes, to find that, indeed—Hierophant Green was already wrapped around Star Platinum, while the two stands were locked in an intimate session of their own. Embarrassed, he tried to call back his stand, but ultimately failed as Jotaro kissed him on his neck. Kakyoin’s breath stuttered and he hissed, “Jotaro we can’t—you, you are married!”
Jotaro pulled back, looking at Kakyoin seriously as he admitted, “My wife and I separated a long time ago. The divorce proceedings are already ongoing.”
Kakyoin was stunned, “Seperated? When?”
“A year ago,” Jotaro replied, “I never loved her. You already know that, Kakyoin.” He bowed his head down, to look at Kakyoin closely.
“What about your daughter?!” Kakyoin asked him, evidently worried for the young girl.
Jotaro pursed his lips and looked down, “She doesn’t understand it yet. She’s too young. We’ll explain it to her when she’s older.”
Kakyoin had so many more questions, so many more doubts, so much to say—but all his words melted away as Jotaro kissed him again, and for some reason—this time, this time, Kakyoin could not find it in himself to push him away.
Fuck it.
Kakyoin grabbed his neck—Jotaro had always had the advantage of height over him, and pulled him close, gasping as he parted his lips and let Jotaro’s tongue conquer his mouth, Kakyoin felt dizzy and desperate–how long, how long had he been yearning for this touch again? To be kissed this same way again? No matter how many past lovers and past experiences he had had, none of them even came close to what he felt when he was with Jotaro.
“Jotaro…..” Kakyoin whispered as his lips were released for a mere moment before being kissed again. Jotaro was just as impatient as Kakyoin, his hands shifting from Kakyoin’s face down to undo his collar buttons, earning an anticipatory squeeze from Kakyoin’s hands around his back.
Kakyoin wasn’t sure how they had ended up in Jotaro’s hotel room, but of course he had no time to question it, moaning as he felt Jotaro’s lips on his throat, and then his collarbone—
“Godammit Jotaro,” He whined as his wrists were pinned to the mattress and Jotaro was already undressing himself.
“I really missed you,” Kakyoin choked out as Jotaro bit him under his jaw, “I really missed you so fucking much.” Kakyoin gasped, Jotaro was quick with his hands, wasting no time in getting them ready.
“I could not forget you at all….” Kakyoin continued to admit, and Jotaro, who heard every single word, watched him carefully.
“I have also missed you, Kakyoin.” Jotaro said to him, leaning closer as he finally looked properly at his former lover’s face. The light red hair framing his scarred eyes, the unrestrained affection in his eyes and the inescapable guilt and longing—all of it reflecting the desires of Jotaro’s own heart.
Kakyoin swallowed, “J-Jotaro, I am sorry…..I am sorry for leaving you behind….I, I really wanted to…..I really wished I could see you again–even though I don’t really deserve a second chance—”
“Kakyoin,” Jotaro held his chin, looking at him with every bit of sincerity possible as he told him, “I don’t care about what happened in the past. But this time, I am not letting you go, do you get it?”
Kakyoin’s eyes widened again, but he could not bring himself to say anything, worried that his voice would crack if he even tried to speak. Fortunately, Jotaro understood, like he always did. He kissed Kakyoin again, and this time Kakyoin reached up to meet him halfway through, no longer hiding away his longing for the man above him.
“W-wait Jotaro,” Kakyoin exclaimed as he felt Jotaro’s hands wandering. There was a bright blush on his face as he realised what Jotaro was doing.
Jotaro displayed a rare smile to Kakyoin, which flustered the latter even more, “Don’t be hasty,” Kakyoin told him, pursing his lips, “We are not restless young boys anymore.”
“I understand,” Jotaro said and then pulled back for a few seconds to rummage in the bedside drawers next to him. Fortunately, the hotel room already had all the necessities he needed.
“And make sure you remove your hat too.” Kakyoin said strictly.
Jotaro paused, looking back towards Kakyoin, “Do I….have to?”
“Yes.” Kakyoin said immediately, in a voice that left no room for argument.
.
Kakyoin groaned as he gripped the bedsheets, arching his back on the mattress. Jotaro’s fingers……were long and broad……and very filling…….although he had expected it…..feeling them inside him was still…..very stimulating.
Kakyoin huffed, opening his eyes to chance a glance at Jotaro, who also moved his gaze just in time to catch Kakyoin looking at him. Jotaro narrowed his eyes, his hunger for Kakyoin evident in the miniscule movement. Kakyoin bit his lower lip, shivering as his hips moved along to the pace Jotaro’s fingers had set for his body.
Jotaro watched Kakyoin’s chest rise and fall with his actions, eyes inadvertently trailing down to catch the sun-shaped scar persisting on his abdomen, the sight left a bitter taste in Jotaro’s mouth, which he decided to distract himself from by leaning down and kissing Kakyoin’s earlobe, and then biting the tip of his ear.
“Ugh….Jotaro….” Kakyoin groaned, already at his limit, “Stop teasing me and put it in already.”
“Good grief,” Jotaro muttered next to Kakyoin’s ear, “You are in such a hurry.” But he was also no better off, feeling the ache of his hardened cock rising every moment that it wasn’t buried deep into Kakyoin’s body.
“Tsk,” Kakyoin let go of the sheets to grab Jotaro’s shoulders, “Are you done playing?” He demanded with a flushed and angry face. Jotaro found it irresistibly adorable, but he did not voice that out, only smiling slightly as he shifted his body, and positioned himself between Kakyoin’s legs.
He took it slow, even though he knew Kakyoin would likely be able to take it in one go, Jotaro did not want to rush him. He pushed in the head of his cock first, and watched as Kakyoin’s face grew redder than a freshly plucked cherry. He held down Kakyoin’s wrists as he pushed himself further in, watching Kakyoin’s expression turn lewder and sexier with every movement. Finally, once he pushed in fully, Kakyoin jolted, yelping and calling out Jotaro’s name in an incredibly provocative voice.
Jotaro loved the sound of it. He wanted to hear Kakyoin say it even more, say it even louder.
He grunted, now intertwining his fingers with Kakyoin’s as he began thrusting, slowly at first, enough to let Kakyoin adjust to the sensations, to hear him moan and call out Jotaro’s name even more.
Jotaro huffed, unable to hold it back any longer, he quickened his pace, dragging out his cock and slamming it back into Kakyoin's ass with an almost feverish eagerness, panting as Kakyoin’s body shivered and his insides clenched around Jotaro's throbbing cock.
“Jotaro……” Kakyoin was calling out to him again, “Ah…..Jotaro…..fuck…..you….you are really…..” He groaned as his back arched off the bed again, “.....so big……” Kayoin’s mouth hung open, breathing erratically, and Jotaro took the opportunity to conquer his lips, thrusting his tongue in as his hips moved back and forth, pushing his cock in and out of Kakyoin's body, hitting the sweet spot with every thrust, enjoying the thrum of Kakyoin's pleasured moans underneath his mouth.
Jotaro did not stop kissing him at all, even as he groaned and bit down on Kakyoin’s lips, hard enough to draw blood. Kakyoin had wrapped his arms around Jotaro's back now, nails digging into flesh as his legs remained locked around Jotaro's hips, his own eager erection wobbling between them as Jotaro continued to fuck into him.
“Mmm….” Kakyoin moaned against Jotaro's lips. He seemed to want to say something, but his voice was lost amidst of the sounds of his pleasure as his mind blanked out and he came with a mind-numbing orgasm, so much so that his body tightened all at once and he saw stars in his vision right before the release of the hot white fluid all over himself and Jotaro, who had also ejaculated right on time with Kakyoin, and was breathing out as his thrusts slowed down…..although he had already come, Jotaro seemed to reluctant to let go of Kakyoin so soon. He pressed down on the man, panting as he looked at Kakyoin, the fire of arousal in his eyes barely extinguished.
Kakyoin was already well aware of the inhumane stamina that Jotaro possessed. So he swallowed before he spoke the next few words.
“Jojo……if I am unable to walk tomorrow, I won't make it to my train in time.”
Jotaro smirked, and then, to Kakyoin's shock, lifted him off the bed and into his arms, to seat him on his lap as he gripped the sides of his waist, while his length was still buried inside Kakyoin, who blushed as he tried to adjust himself to the new feeling.
“You don't have to make it to the train,” Jotaro said to him as he bit him on his chest, “You can stay with me. Here. And leave when I leave.”
“Are you crazy……” Kakyoin muttered, “!! Jotaro!!” He exclaimed with a flushed face as he felt Jotaro’s pearly white teeth toying around with his bright red nipple, “Ngh…..” Kakyoin panted, “I…..wait, let me…..let me finish speaking…..” Jotaro had already started moving his hips under Kakyoin’s buttocks, perhaps to distract him from what he wanted to say in the first place.
“I….I have already booked the ticket — ahhh…..” Jotaro had bit his other nipple, and by now Kakyoin already knew it was an intentional technique to prevent him from speaking, so in a fit of flustered annoyance, he did something that caught Jotaro off-guard.
A long, green strip of a familiar feel wrapped itself around Jotaro's chin and forcefully pulled him away from Kakyoin's chest, allowing the latter to finally catch his breath somewhat and speak,
“I can't miss my train tomorrow—” Kakyoin jolted, evidently, having Hierophant Green's strips wrap up Jotaro's mouth wasn't enough, because the man's cock was still buried in Kakyoin's ass. And all he had to do was move to render Kakyoin speechless.
“Ngh……Jotaro,” This time when Kakyoin looked at him, there were tears pricking the corner of his eyes, evidently showing how done he was with Jotaro's antics.
Feeling a bit sorry for his behaviour, Jotaro finally stopped teasing Kakyoin to let him speak,
“I have an art exhibition in Tokyo…” Kakyoin admitted with great difficulty, and then he cast a sort of hopeful look at Jotaro, “I….. would really like it if you can come……”
He looked at Jotaro, mouth still sealed by the green strip of emerald. There was no need to release that, all he had to do was nod. But of course, Jotaro being Jotaro, had to take it a step further. Kakyoin saw a flash of purple in his vision before he felt Hierophant Green caught and dragged away…..he blushed as he felt second-hand what Jotaro's stand was doing to his, and refused to look at Jotaro while his body reacted again.
“I will be there,” Jotaro promised him, kissing him on his lower jaw, “I will wrap up everything here and join you in Tokyo. Don't leave me behind this time.”
Kakyoin couldn't help the smile that took over his face, “I won't…..I will be waiting for you.” He said to Jotaro, who seemed content enough with the answer to finally resume his actions from before.
“!!! Stop biting me there—” But Kakyoin's words were barely out of his mouth before he had to trade them in for another salacious slew of sounds, each more debauched than the one before, as he was pushed onto the mattress, and fucked into again. Over and over by Jotaro’s monstrosity of a cock, and his seemingly insatiable hunger.
Kakyoin did not mind, of course, Jotaro really was amazing…..and he was already orgasming again as Jotaro ravaged him…..and briefly he realised he really would be in so much trouble while travelling back to Tokyo on train tomorrow — but for now, he chose to not worry about that detail, accepting the open-mouthed kisses Jotaro was showering him with as they both came one after the other, moaning into each other's mouths and leaving behind bruises with their hands that would surely last well into the next day.
“Jotaro…..” Kakyoin was finally able to say after they were done for the night, lying in bed next to each other. Naked and covered only in blankets as Jotaro turned on his lighter for the cigarette in his mouth.
Jotaro gave a grunt of acknowledgement, though Kakyoin knew he would listen to anything he had to say.
“It's a big deal, you know,” Kakyoin was saying, “If we want to pursue this relationship— there's definitely going to be oppositions from both our families, and not mention, your wife and daughter—”
“Ex-wife,” Jotaro corrected him, “Good grief,” He muttered as he thought back to his family. And specifically remembered that one traumatising picture he had stumbled across of a young Joseph Joestar, “My family can't say anything,” He finally remarked, “They're no better off.” He said, and did not elaborate any further.
Kakyoin looked at him curiously but did not enquire further, only speaking about something else, “I don't think mine will take kindly to it. They were already so disapproving of my career in art.”
“Kakyoin,” Jotaro paused, “Noriaki, if your parents are unwilling to accept us—then I can make them—”
“I’d much rather you save that energy for enemy Stand-users,” Kakyoin cut in before Jotaro could suggest something that would undoubtedly bring more trouble than favour to Kakyoin, “My parents…..they are not unreasonable, just the traditional type. It will take time, but I'm sure I can convince them.”
Jotaro looked at him, watching him, as if unable to believe that he was really having this moment. He bent his head, so that he was closer to Kakyoin, ignoring the trail of smoke rising between them.
Kakyoin could not ignore it though, he used his Stand to put out the cigarette between its emerald fingers, speaking as he did so, “Smoking in bed is dangerous, Jojo.”
“Good grief,” Jotaro muttered, but did not try lighting his cigarette again. Instead, putting it off and discarding it in the ash tray while he looked at Kakyoin again,
“I have missed you, Kakyoin.”
Kakyoin breathed out as he settled himself comfortably next to Jotaro, watching his lover with unrestrained affection,
“Me too, Jojo…..I missed you too.”
Jotaro leaned down, intending to kiss Kakyoin, but the latter backed away, rolling his eyes, “Your mouth still stinks of cigarettes, Jojo.”
Jotaro paused, and then sighed as he drew back, “Good grief.”
He decided to pop a peppermint in his mouth for now. There was no way he was going to bed without kissing Kakyoin. Kakyoin, watching his sombre expression as he chewed the mint, could not help but laugh,
“You are still the same as ever, Jotaro.”
Jotaro looked at him, a hint of a smile on his mouth, and a promise of a lifetime in his eyes.
