    In the middle of the year 1999, on arriving at the Morioh Grand Hotel, Kujo Jotaro encountered a face he hadn’t seen for ten years.

    Kakyoin Noriaki. A popular artist with a deep-rooted interest in video games, who seemed just as shocked to see Jotaro as Jotaro was to see him.

    Ten years ago, Kakyoin Noriaki had said to Kujo Jotaro ‘Let’s end it here, Jojo. We will reach nowhere with this relationship.’ It was too abrupt, too sudden, and Kakyoin hadn’t even given Jotaro a chance to come to terms with the break-up by leaving for his overseas university the very next day.

    That was the last time they saw each other after the bizarre adventure they had had on their way to Egypt.

    Until now, when fate seemingly just thrust them back into each other's lives again.

    These are MXTX's early works from when she was still a student. They were published in 2013-2014 in a magazine called “Super Nice”《超好看》. She wrote a total of five short stories, each around a few thousand words. All bearing elements of drama, horror, death, and complex character relationships that you can find later in her novels. These short stories are not particularly well-known and have never been translated before.
    Someone compiled these shorts together in a book on JJWXC, and we've decided to translate them together.
