Almost all know that Jimin is fond of affection and attention. That is a fact they all discovered while living together for more than three years, and because of that, they also notice even the slightest changes in the group’s dynamics.
One obvious example is the sudden growing attachment between Yoongi and Hoseok. It’s not romantic of course, when one is sexually attracted to another; it is more on the best of friends side where one is the support of another, a shoulder to lean on and the laugh they need when life decides to conspire with everything to make one miserable. These changes is noticed by the members including Jimin, himself. Everyone knows that Jimin is Yoongi’s favorite member but that seems to change since the start of the year. Jimin is now replaced by Hoseok. It is not a big deal, of course, because all members are close with each other but one day, when Jimin mumbles “Yoongi-hyung is getting closer to Hoseok-hyung...” to Namjoon who knits his brows and Jin whose mouth is slightly open. The two older members look at Jimin for good seconds until Yoongi enters the practice room with the purpose of finding the group’s mood maker; yes, Hoseok. Without delays, Jin and Namjoon look at Yoongi with the same expressions. Yoongi finds it not worth trying, no one is answering so he decides to go out and find who he is looking for to another parts of their building, but before Yoongi can step outside, Jimin stands up and calls “Hoseok-hyung is with Jungkookie …” pauses “in the balcony.” Rapmon now with his jaw dropped, looks at Jimin, same with Jin whose mouth now forms a slight “0”. “Thanks, Jiminnie!” then Yoongi disappeared.
The three remaining people in the room did not talk for few seconds. Jimin bows his head, lets out a sigh and stares at the ceiling before exhaling. Jin decides to break the silence, “Jimin-ah … “ The owner of the name looks at Jin, wide eyed first before smiling sweetly, eyes smaller and teeth showing, “Hyung, want to go out? My treat …” And before the two can agree, Jimin hops out of the practice room, while humming.
