Hello and welcome to my oneshot collection for 'Don't Eat The Neighbours'!
I love this series dearly and I want to keep writing as much as I can for it, especially for Fox X Wolf since they are my favourite part of the whole show! Anyone is welcome to shoot me a prompt in the comments as you like, or on my Tumblr of the same name ^^ Before I go any further though, here are the rules I have for sending me a prompt to write out:
((Important Note: There may be some things mentioned in the rules regarding what I am unwilling to write about that may make people uncomfortable. For that and for future stories, the overall rating of the collection shall remain as 'E'))
1. I am happy to write for any characters or pairings, but I do love Fox X Wolf the most! I would love to write for them especially, so if you have any prompts for them, do not hesitate to ask! ^^ But I am still happy if you want me to write a story about Lucy or about Rabbit X Terrapin, etc. Shoot me the prompt and I will give it a go ^^
2. If I am uncomfortable with the subject of the story, I may elect not to write for it. I will try to be clear that I am not comfortable, but I will not discourage you from writing it yourself or prompting me with something else. I will also try to make it clear in the following rule what I know I am not okay writing for.
3. The following topics or triggers are stuff I am not comfortable writing for, so please keep them in mind:
= Underage Smut (References to abuse are fine, but I am not comfortable writing a romance / smut scene between a minor x adult)
= Certain Gore (Very specifically; Teeth or Genitals)
= Certain Kinks (Piss, Toilet related stuff)
4. I may not write the same exact amount of words per oneshot, but that doesn't mean I'm trying to be rude. I just might struggle or I may think all the words I put are all I need to convey the story.
5. You can prompt me with anything! ^^ A song, an image, a single sentence or a whole paragraph of an idea. You can be as vague or as specific as you like and I welcome it! Just leave a comment on a chapter if you have an idea!
6. If there is anything to be added to the list above, I will do so when I come to realise/remember it

Chapter 2: Phantom Touches (Part 1 of 4)

Summary:
'Soulmates had existed since the dawn of time.
Everyone had a soulmate; romantic, platonic or familial.
And with a soulmate, there came a soul bond. A sign that gave clues to the identity of one’s significant other. Infinite possibilities as to how it may manifest, but all of them accurate.'
For Fox and Wolf, it manifests in the worst way possible.
Chapter 3: Phantom Touches (Part 2 of 4)
Pairing: Fox X Wolf

Summary:
'He had been so in love, so caught up in his marriage and in his family, he hadn’t thought about his soulmate’s feelings once until the phantom touches stopped. Your soulmate was the one that the universe gave to you, friend, family or lover, and Wolf had known from the moment he felt that first phantom touch that it was a lover he had been promised. And he had turned it all down for a love that could not last. It was true; he had never wanted a soulmate. But now he did.'
They meet again, however briefly, but it leaves a lasting impression on the both of them.
Chapter 4: Love To Tease
Pairing: Rabbit X Terrapin X Daisy (Rabbit's Wife)
Story Rating: T
Summary:
"Y-You… You think I like Terrapin?’ She shook her head and Rabbit felt his rapidly beating heart slow to a far more appropriate pace in his chest.
‘No… I don’t think anything. I know.’ His heartrate sped up again like crazy, the heat blooming like the first hot sun in spring after a harsh winter. ‘I know you love him, just as he loves you."
Rabbit has always been a little mean to the ones he loves, even if he doesn't quite realise it.
Chapter 5: Orange On The Left (Part 1 of 2)

Story Rating: E
Chapter Rating: M
Summary:
"Then you know what this means, don’t you? Orange on the left side~?’
Wolf growled purposefully this time, low and hungry.
‘Anything. Anytime."
Handkerchief code is something Wolf is quite familiar with. Is Fox?
Chapter 6: Orange On The Left (Part 2 of 2)
Pairing: Fox X Wolf
Story Rating: E
Chapter Rating: E
Summary:
'To say that Fox was expecting to end up in his bed again so soon was a lie.
To further imply that he expected to end up laid out in his silk sheets with Wolf bearing down on him was another, bold-faced fabrication.
That isn’t to say he hadn’t hoped for such an outcome.'
What happens when Wolf takes Fox to bed to enjoy some 'anything, anytime'.
Chapter 7: The Memories That Haunt Us
Pairings: Fox X Wolf
Rating: M
Summary:
"You’re not going to like what I have to say…’
‘I don’t care.’ Fox’s amber gaze landed on him, a little affronted. He hurried to correct himself. ‘I don’t care if it makes me uncomfortable or whatever else. But I care about you and I want to help if I can.’
Fox’s discomfort seemed to fade just a little; as much as it could with his body still shaking.'
What Wolf wants is to make sure his husband is okay. Fox isn't sure he can be.
