abolish's POV

Abolish had never, not had to file paperwork for everything he did, but now he was away from the agency, so he didn't have to; it was weirdly freeing, but hey, who was he to complain? He finally got a break, even if he was in Oakhurst for a mission to begin with, but just because he was here on a mission doesn't mean he couldn't enjoy it, even if he couldn't leave until all the beacons are converted, but that was fine with him, it meant the agency couldn't send him forms to fill out which was perfectly fine with him it meant no paperwork so even if this was considered a mission he could take a bit of a break

his brain finally caught up, and he realized he was lost..."Ah shit," he muttered, looking around to see where he was, maybe he could find a landmark or something...but no, he was lost in the middle of the woods at night

A twig snaps, and he whips around and comes face to face with....pyro...a vampire. He quickly backed away and drew his sword. He was not about to let himself die or get turned; that would be too much paperwork, and he hated paperwork

Abolish had to admit that with Pyro's pale complexion and blood red eyes, he was good looking, just as good looking as the day they first met, not so long ago. Abolish snapped back to reality as he heard Pyro hiss, "Why are you here, human." and Abolish looked at him and asked, "I could ask you the same thing. What are you doing so close to town?" and for a moment, Pyro looked confused and said, "Abolish, this is the dead woods, not exactly close to town" he paused then asked "abolish, are you ok?"

Abolish looked at him and tilted his head, then said, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Pyro let out a sigh, then spoke: "Because you thought you were close to town when really you're close to the castle." Abolish blinked, then looked around once more and said, "Well, thank you. I shall be heading home now, have a good day...or night, whatever you vampires do." and with that, he turned around and walked away

The walk back to town was relatively peaceful, but he kept rethinking the interaction with Pyro

Once he got back to town, he went inside his home, up the ladder and got ready for bed

pyro's POV

Pyro had not been expecting to get stuck in a town in the middle of nowhere; he was also not expecting to be turned into a vampire, but hey, he can't change the past, so what was he going to do? Plus, he kinda enjoyed being a vampire, sure it's a pain when the humans always try to stab you or cure you, or they freeze you with holy water or when the sun burns you and makes you slower or the fact that he can only drink blood now and eat raw meat and eventually they are going to run out of animals and the humans don't want to become snacks. But other than that, being a vampire is great. He gets to turn into a bat, turn invisible, teleport around, jump really far, and sometimes, if he focuses, he can control the weather, though it takes a lot of energy

As Pyro was walking across the bridge, thinking he spotted a familiar figure...abolish the one human he didn't particularly hate, which, to be fair, wasn't that hard. The man was polite, kind, and incredibly good-looking. Pyro wondered how a man such as himself ended up in Oakhurst in the first place

Nonetheless, that was not the point; the point was that he had to get this human out of their forest, so he said to the man in the most menacing tone he could muster, "Why are you here, human." for a moment the human looked just a tad bit confused then asked "I could ask you the same thing what are you doing so close to town?" pyro felt confused at that because they were just on the other side of the trees close to the castle and rest of the coven then he spoke "Abolish this is the dead woods not exactly close to town" he paused then asked "abolish are you ok?"

The human tilted his head and asked, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Pyro sighed and thought to himself I think this human is out of it. Then he said out loud, "Because you thought you were close to town when really you're close to the castle." The human looked around and blinked, confused, then said, "Well, thank you, I shall be heading home, have a good day....or night, whatever you vampires do." he then turned and walked away.

Pyro stood there for a moment just watching his retreating form and thought to himself...that was weird, abolish lost in the woods? That's not normal somethings wrong. I just need to figure it out.

He heard someone calling his name, and he turned around and saw Shelby. He smiled at the sight of the fledgling because she was the nicest one out of the coven. Scott was a stuck-up noble who wasn't used to not getting his way, and Owen was a wet blanket, so Shelby was undeniably his favourite. Though he was pretty sure she was everyone's favourite, Shelby was sweet and kind and such a ball of energy, it was no wonder everyone liked her with how nice she was

He heard Shelby speak, "Hey, Pyro, how are you? Scott is looking for use we have a coven meeting, whatever that is. Come on," Pyro thought for a moment and then said, "I'm good, Shelby. How are you?" Her entire face lit up as she spoke, "I'm great now, come on." he followed her inside and saw Scott and Owen sitting at the table and took a seat next to shelby
