Non-humans and hybrids really aren't much different from humans. They go about their lives practically the same, with just a few quirks unique to them along the way.
Like heats.
Both elves and dragon hybrids, like Scott and Nom, have heats. Which is awfully convenient.

Summary
The rest of the world may as well not exist for all he would notice, as Pyro turns at the sound of Aurora and locks eyes with Scott.
He looked... there were dark shadows below his eyes, partially blocked by his tangled hair. Their already lithe frame had crossed the line into worryingly thin. His clothes, usually well maintained (aside from the occasional scorchmark), were ratty and torn, the red color Scott knew they usually held barely visible under the grime, and he looked so, so tired.
Despite all that, he was the most beautiful sight Scott had ever seen.

Pyro (and Maddy) gets rescued while Scott is off curing Aurora of her heat sickness, and they have a very emotional reunion on his return.Series

During Eraklyon's thousand year anniversary party the Winx are labelled as witches and attacked by the royal guard. In a desperate move to save themselves from the gloomy dungeons the girls decide to run into the hedge maze and split up. Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to them, Sky is hot behind their heels and things are about to take a turn none of them could have foreseen.Things go from bad to worse when Bloom takes a wrong turn and has to face danger head on. This time the Winx aren't there to save the day together, so an unlikely party steps up to fill that role.
