Chapter Text
The terrain was dusty and dry. The planet is not suitable to inhabit with no energon to survive on. It was rumored that this planet used to be one of the war zones where the Decepticons and Autobots fought for justice - in their on way. From all of the battles they've fought, every battle leaves relics behind them. Making it one of the popular destination for scavengers to scavenge goods to continue on their living.
A group of scavengers just landed on that particular planet, certain to find goods that will make their captain satisfied with them. After all, they were the most successful Decepticon scavengers in their crew.
"Are we clear?" Skydrop inquired.
"Pretty much, let's get moving." Ferrum answered back.
They rushed to a cave where the tip told them to go to. Not wanting to be caught by the Auto-bot authorities as they were Decepticons. After the war finally ended, Autobot groups are estab-lished to hunt down all Decepticons that are still walking free in the galaxy, no matter their backstory.
The cave was dark, a bit eerie for some bots. But they didn't care much about it, all of their focus were on the scavenges that they soon would to get hold of - well, maybe not all of them.
"Echo! Echo.. Echo.." Skydrop's voice echoed throughout the cave. She was dying to boredom after that long journey to this planet. She really hoped that this was all worth it as she already missed pulling pranks on Ferrum back at the ship.
"Im gonna END you if you're going to more of your stupid tricks again." Ferrum said firmly to Skydrop. She giggled in response, she had other things planned in her mind.
"The same thing for you too Metallight."
Metallight nodded. Ferrum felt surprised seeing her response. To him, both her and Skydrop were the most annoying Decepticons to cooperate with. Can't say much about their pranks too. But somehow, the three of them together achieved greatness as they earned the title, 'The Most Reliable Scavengers' from their captain.
They turned on their lights as they ventured deeper into the cave, it got darker with every step they take. A few hours passed by. Skydrop groaned as they kept continuing to walk farther.
"There has to be a better way to find this- whatever you call it." She complained. "Who even gave you this tip? Usually MT would locate it first with her thingamajig from one of our scavanges she kept away from captain."
"Cannot you be more patient?" He said, feeling annoyed before he paused. "Speaking of which, your rant just gave me an idea. We could have just used Metallight's tech to locate that artifact straight away! How idiotic we are to waste our time like this."
The two of them stared at Metallight, hinting at her to user her tech. Her gaze is still locked on what's ahead of her, not giving a care to her comrades, she hasn't speak a single word since they arrived onto this planet - clearly something was up.
"Stop joking around MT, Im gonna die to boredom if we're still stuck on this forsakening planet!" said Skydrop. She still hasn't moved a servo.
"Hellooooo, Cybertron to Metallight?" Ferrum said while waving in front of Metallight's face.
She's still stiff as a statue. With His patience starting to get thin, he attempted to nudge Metallight as his servos went right through her - its just a hologram!
"What?" He said in suprise. A trap! Why wouldn't it be a trap? How easily fooled I was to think the tipper wouldn't plan to do such things with us having high numbers on our head, and it seems like Metallight already got captured. But how? He thought. She's much too-
"We should make a run for it." Skydrop said alarmingly. With limited choices left and the atmosphere getting more tense, he shrugged the peculiar feeling he had and transformed into a jet, flying straight to the exit. Skydrop followed.
As they were getting closer to the light of the exit, a laser was blasted at them right before they got hit. To their suprise, when they looked to see where the source of the blast came from, it was Metallight!
"Got ya!" she laughed her head off. "You guys should've seen you panicking!"
Seeing this - deep down in Ferrum, he just wants to obliterate Metallight from existence for doing such an inconvenient prank that could've- oh forget about it. She's clearly intact and certainly alive to do such things, and that is what matters the most.
Skydrop walked a few steps towards her and gave her a slap on her back. "You idiot! Why didn't you invite me too?" she chuckled.
"And how did you do that anyways?"
Metallight then showed them the tech she used to create the hologram of herself, it was light and small to carry around, perfect for mischief.
"And I can guess that you were the one that gave me the tip." said Ferrum.
"Righty'O!" she felt proud finding it, alongside with scaring both her partners back to the Allspark.
"Now that we're done here, lets get back to base. You might as well give this one to captain." He transforms and flew back to base leaving both of them behind.
"So.. uh, what about that? I mean like this is too good to just be handed over to cap, think about all the escapes and relics we can get!"
