Canada smiled at his boyfriend, they were both on the beach. Canada was relaxing, while Gilbert was splashing in the water.
Canada closed his eyes and just decided to sun bathe. It was pretty peaceful.
Until a splash of water hit his face.
The blonde grumpily opened his eyes to find fierce red ones staring at him as if he held the secrets to the world.
“Yes?”
“Why is it that crabs have pincers?”
“W-why?” Canada sat up, completely confused.
“Why do they have them?”
“Umm, to protect themselves. And I ask again, why?”
Prussia’s shoulders slumped as he turned his head. There was a dark green crab stuck in his hair.
“How, exactly, did this happen?”
“Well, I was in the sand, and it came and got me! How unawesome is that?”
“Very. Now, you need to stay still.”
“Will it hurt?”
“Yes.”
Prussia moved his head away from the blonde, “Then no. I’ll let it get untangled by itself.”
“Prussia. You were a fierce empire. Why won’t you let me help with a crab?”
“Well, that’s different, nothing ever got stuck in it!”
Canada sighed, “If you won’t let me help you, I’ll go and take you to the hospital.”
Prussia immediately moved his head towards the Canadian, “Fine. But, at least try to make it not hurt as much.”
“I will. I promise you.”
