Izuku's mind was going a million miles as he made his way through the empty halls of one of the buildings of Training Ground Beta, the location in which his very own Class 1-A was having their very first combat trial. Under All Might's watch, the class was separated into 10 groups and selected at random to fight against another in a simulation battle. One of the teams was deemed the heroes, their goal was to enter the building and either capture both of the villains or get ahold of a weapon of mass-destruction that the opposite team was hiding, while the goal of the Villain side was to either capture the heroes or to make sure they don't find the bomb within the time limit.
Izuku's team, Group C, was placed on to the heroes side, he was paired up with Tsuyu Asui, a girl with a long, green hair that was wrapped up in a bow. The girl's quirk, as he would learn during their brief planning session before the timer had begun, was 'Frog', which allowed her to do almost anything a frog could. Of course, the quirk-obsessed teen had a million questions and ideas about what she could do with it, but either because of his social ineptitude or the time limit they were on, maybe both, he decided to hold them back and focus on making an attack plan.
The opposing team consisted of Tooru Hagakure and Fumikage Tokoyami. Hagakure's quirk made her invisible, while Tokoyami's was was 'Dark Shadow', and it allowed him to summon a creature that seemed to be made out of pure darkness.
"You know, Midoriya" the boy was quickly taken out of his thoughts as the girl in front of him started speaking "I always speak what's on my mind, and if I'm being blunt, we're at a clear disadvantage here, Kero."
"Yeah, I agree... both of our opponents are very clearly stealth oriented, a dark building with little to no light going through it seems like a perfect spot for them." Said the greenette as he slowly stroked his chin in deep though. "But still, I think I have an idea of what we can do. U-unless y-you have something as well, I-I'm sure your idea would be better anyway.."
The girl raised a brow at that comment, but decided to ignore it for now "Nah, I'm not really good at making plans, Kero, what do you have in mind?"
Izuku slightly flinched at having the question shot back at him, slightly surprised that someone was willing to listen to him so easily. "W-well, it's pretty simple, but..."
As Izuku strolled through the poorly-lit hall of the building, he was carefully analysing every single thing in front of him. Scanning the hallways, trying to look for any sign of movement that could lead him to Tokoyami's direction. Before he had the chance to see him, though, he heard a voice coming from the hallway right behind him.
"I have finally found you, hero. It was a foolish idea to step alone into my reign of darkness and villany, but it's no matter, you will be disposed of soon enough."
Izuku, along with the rest of class 1-A that was watching from the observation room slightly winced at the words coming from Tokoyami's mouth while sharing a single thought.
'He's really into the role isn't he?'
Midoriya quickly got into a battle stance, analysing the hallway in search of anything that could help him during this battle. Unfortunately, even if there was anything, he wouldn't have been able to find it before a dark mass made out of pure shadow came hurling torwards him. Rolling into the ground to the left, Midoriya barely evaded Dark Shadow's attack.
Dark Shadow didn't stop his attack, swiping back with his claws multiple times. The One For All holder was able to dodge most of them, they were fairly telegraphed attacks, but with Dark Shadow's speed and strength, that didn't really matter, as he was eventually overwhelmed, being hit by a large portion of the swipes. However, before Dark Shadow was able to gain the upper hand, Izuku shouted "Tsuyu, now!"
Tokoyami was startled by the shouting, but before he could process what he heard, a green blur landed a kick to the top of his head. He was stunned, but not immediately knocked down. Unfortunately for him, his brief moment of weakness was all that Tsuyu needed to wrap the capture tape around his arms.
"Fumikage Tokoyami has been Eliminated!"
"Dammit" Tokoyami let out a small sigh. "Dark Shadow, come back."
"Aw man, where did you even come from?" Izuku was slightly startled as he didn't even know Dark Shadow could speak. "We figured you guys would have separated trying to look for the bomb."
Izuku replied "W-well, we figured you would probably be sent to fight since your quirk is a lot better on the offensive side of things, b-but you p-probably wouldn't try to attack the both of us at the same time, so Tsuyu was crawling on the ceiling a few steps behind me."
"The goal was for Midoriya to separate you from Dark Shadow, once you were distracted with the fight, I would be able to jump in and capture you, kero." Asui added. "By the way, Midoriya, you can call me Tsu."
Izuku blushed up a storm at the thought of calling someone by a nickname, but Tokoyami spoke before he could start to mutter a response "I see, so you have also decided to take advantage of the darkness."
"Wait, what do you mean al- 'Behind You!'" Izuku suddenly heard a voice screaming in his head before an insanely strong headache hit him. The boy instantly snapped his neck back at the voice echoing loudly in his mind, the headache was still there, but he couldn't see anything.
That was, untill he suddenly felte a surge of extremely bright colors hitting his eyes, almost as if he was looking directly at multiple flashlight. He closed his eyes out of instinct and stumbled back a bit, but he was not prepared for what he saw when he opened his eyes. All of a sudden, the room looked bright, like someone had turned on the non-existent lights, but thats not what caught his attention. Right there, in front of him stood a girl, completely naked. Of course, the moment he saw that, Midoriya jumped back a full metre and started making sounds he was definetly not proud of. "W-w-w-what are you doing!? W-who are you??" The girl jumped back at his comment and sported a very surprised face, but there was also a glimpse of confusion behind her eyes.
Midoriya looked down, trying to avert his gaze from the nude person in front of him, but he saw something that caught his attention. Not only was the girl holding capture tape, but she was also sporting a vefy familiar set of boots and gloves. Those were the same, or, more specifically, only items that Hagakure had in her hero costume. Before he could fully process what had happened, the naked girl suddenly charged at him, wrapping his arm in the capture tape. "Sorry Midoriya. How the heck did you even know I was here? And what do you mean 'who are you?', don't tell me you didn't even notice me yesterday." Hagakure said, pouting at the thought of having been forgotten so quickly by one of her classmates.
"Izuku Midoriya has been Eliminated"
The Freckled teenager started going beet red at the sudden contact with the naked girl, of course he was startled by the attack, but the fact that she was almost pressing against made him completely forget what was happening in front of him. "Oh wow dude, you're really red, are you okay?" Said the girl before moving in even closer to Midoriya's face.
Midoriya was not equipped to deal with this situation, hell, he could barely look a pretty girl in the face, or any girl, or any person, really - but that's not the point, the NAKED person in front of him was extremely close to his body, and the moment her arm touched his, he short circuited. His face felt somehow even hotter than before, his vision started going blurry and before he even realized, he passed out.
"WHOA, What the hell!?" Was all that Kagakure managed to blurt out before Tsuyu wrapped her tongue in her general direction and then wrapped the capture tape around the area slightly above it, before quickly taking her tongue back into her mouth. "Ugh, I'm sorry that was really uncomfortable, you really shouldn't be walking around naked, kero."
"Tooru Hagakurw has been Eliminated! The Hero team wins!"
Before either of the girls or Tokoyami managed to get a word in, their communicators flared up one last announcement.
"I'm sorry, could either of you girls check if Young Midoriya is alright?" All might said in a worried tone.
Hagakure started crouching and shook the boy a little bit, but got no response outside of a few grumbles. Well, he was breathing at least. "Um, sorry, he's out cold." Hagakure said while looking at the camera she found in the wall next to them.
"I see, would the three of you please take him to Recovery Girl before coming back to the observation room?"
"No problem!" Said the invisible girl in a sing-songey voice. "Hey, Tokoyami, do you think Dark Shadow could carry him?"
The boy nodded before summoning his quirk once again. Dark Shadow quickly moved next to the passed out boy and picked him up bridal style. "Damn, he's surprisingly heavy for a boy this size."
"Do you need any help, kero?"
"Nah, I can carry him fine" Dark Shadow shot a quick thumbs up torwards Tsuyu with a happy expression on his face, before turning to Hagakure, well, at least to the direction of her clothes, he didn't exactly know where to look at. "How did you even knock him out? The plan was just for you to get behind one of them while me and Fumikage held them off."
"I was wondering that too, Midoriya doesn't seen the kind to pass out with just a punch, and you don't seem to be that strong either, kero." Said a confused Tsuyu.
"It wasn't me! I didn't even touch him after the capture tape, he just fell on the ground for some reason." Hagakure's gloves moved up and down while she said that, so the other two imaged she had a very worried expression on her face.
"Hm, that's weird. I know Midoriya is very nervous but he doesn't seen the kind to just faint during a confrontation, kero."
The three teens kept talking while moving to Recovery Girl's office, bring up possibilities for what could have happened to Midoriya, as well as just general chit-chat. They had no clue what was going on in Midoriya's mind at the same time.
One moment, Izuku was near having a panic attack while looking at the very attractive naked girl in front of him. Before he realised, he had suddenly woken up somewhere he had never seen before. The sky was completely black, but he was able to see constantly moving lights that made it seem like he was moving very fast. The ground, meanwhile, was just grey concrete, but it broke off after a while and seemed to be floating in this empty black space. All of a sudden, Midoriya was taken out of his thoughts by a voice he had never heard before, but seemed oddly familar.
"Hey kid, are you alright? If we're being honest, we thought it would take way longer for us to meet." Izuku moved his head to look at the voice, meeting the sight of two people he had never seen before, but once again, he felt weirdly connected to them. The first was a man with white hair going up to around the base of his neck, he was wearing something that looked like a green and white hero costume and sported a gigantic scar on his left eye. The second one was a younger man, he had short, black hair and was wearing a red coat that slightly covered his mouth. Both of them had worried, but friendly expressions on their faces.
Izuku tried to speak, but for some reason he couldn't. He then realized he couldn't really feel his mouth, or anything besides the top of his head really. He looked down, only to see his entire body covered by some weird, black mist. Before he could start to panic, a soothing voice spoke. "You're probably really confused right now, we apologize, we promise everything's okay, but, this quirk of ours can be really unpredictable sometimes." The black haired man said.
Still worried, but now captivated by the man's words, Izuku looked back at the people in front of him. "What you just experienced was a result of One Of All, more specifically, to your body adapting to it." Said the scarred man. "Not only is One For All able to store power and transfer it onward, but it also stores the quirks and memories of its past users, the combination of their quirk factors and memories is what creates us. We are the past users of One For All, who live within the quirk."
The green-haired teenager's eyes widened at that information and his mind started running wild. The past users' consciousness were still inside of One For All... Why were they only speaking to him now? Did this ever happen to All Might? What did he mean when he said it stored their quirks? He had a million questions, but before he could think of even more, the black haired man continued.
"The reason your eyes and head started hurting during the battle was because both of our quirks manifested because of your needs, since the both of them are passive powers that don't need to be controlled or physically conjured, your body was quick to adapt to them, we imagine the other ones will take longer to kick in. My name is En Tayutai, I was the sixth user of One For All, the one next to me is Hikage Shinomori, we was the fourth user."
"The strong headache you had was caused by my quirk, it's called 'Danger Sense'." Shinomori continued. "When I had it, it would warn me of any life-threatening attacks by giving me a tingle behind my neck. Once I got One For All, it got more powerful, it started to warn me of most attacks, as well as giving me a headache in the general direction it was coming from. Since One For All has gotten even stronger since then, so has the quirks it has in store, so now, Danger Sense directly warns you from where the attack is coming from, the pain you feel should also be corresponding to the strength of the attack itself, only a slightly discomfort if its something like someone bumping into you and something similar to a migraine if its a life-threatening attack. The reason your headache was so strong today was because it was the first time it kicked in."
"Now, the reason for the blinding lights hitting your eyes was my quirk" said Tayutai, pointing at himself. "Its called Supersight. It allows your eyes to see in frequencies that should be impossible for the human eye, as well as being extremely precise. Since One For All has made it stronger, you should be able to passively see in the dark, as well as adapting to any major changes in light, so flashbangs should be a non-issue for you." The man slightly chuckled. "It may not seem very useful at first, but the precision actually makes your aim extremely accurate, which is how I got by before I held One For All. I know this is a lot of information to give you at once, and unfortunately, we won't be able to communicate for a while after this, the only reason we're able to talk to you right now is because of the brief connection we have due to the quirks adapting to you, we'll disappear once you wake up, at least for now."
"You also shouldn't worry about the other quirks anytime soon." Said the white haired man. "As it is, your body can only take 3-5% of One For All, the other quirks take a much more physical toll on your body, so it will take a long time for them to kick in."
The world they were in seemed to tremble for a few seconds.
"It seems like we don't have a lot of time left, you'll be waking up soon. It was very nice to meet you, ninth. We'll be watching you. Well... not all of the time, we still give you privacy, but we'll keep track of your progress, good luck out there."
The other man agreed with a subtle nod, before they started to walk torwards the void and slowly disappeared. Izuku could only watch as the men got out of sight, still unable to move his body. To say he was confused would be the under-statement of the century, it felt like someone had just dumped 6 books worth of material into his brain and then given him a test on it. He barely had any time to process to any of it before he felt himself start to wake up.
Midoriya slowly opened his eyes only to met with a white ceiling, feeling slightly disoriented, but completely fine otherwise. He started to look around, only to realise that he was in Recovery Girl's office. Had already been there twice, once as a check-up after the entrance exam, and once after he broke his fingers during the quirk aprehention test yesterday. He was starting to think he was going to get used to seeing this room a lot more often now, as frightening as that thought may be. Before he was able to get up to see if anyone was there, he heard a very cheery voice next to him.
"Oh hey, you finally woke up! Whay happened back there?" Izuku turned his eyes to the direction of the voice, only to see the same girl, whom he now identified as Hagakure, visible due to the Sixth's quirk, which he had now. He had 3 quirks now. And he was going to have even more later. There were also 7 ghosts in his head. Before he could even start to think about what to do information, he realised that the girl in front of him was, noticeably, still naked.
"You fainted all of a sudden during combat training, nothing had even hit you so I was worried you had a heart attack or something. But Recovery Girl said there was nothing wrong with you." The girl said while moving her arms left and right very excitedly, following what the she was saying during the whole explanation. Izuku imagined she was doing that in order for her gloves to seem more expressive, due to no one being able to see her face. He started to wonder what other things she had adapted to due to her quirk, but his train of thought was interrupted when he noticed two certain parts of the girl's body were also moving around during her explanation. Of course, Midoriya started to get as red as a tomato and quickly looked in another direction, covering his eyes at same time and trying to come up with some way of warning the girl that she isn't as invisible as she thinks she is.
"Hey, where are you looking at? I'm back here, I'm surprised you didn't notice the gloves." Said Hagakure in a slightly irritated tone.
"I-I-I'm actually trying n-not to l-look at you right n-now." A massive blush appeared on Midoriya's face as he said this.
"Huh? Why would you do that? I really don't like it when people pretend I'm not there, you know."
"W-Well i-its just that... I-I can s-see you..." Midoria said while still covering his eyes.
"Huh?" The girl tilted her head slightly, a very confused expression on her face. "Well, that was the whole point of wearing gloves, people need to know where I am, no?"
"N-No, n-n-not the gloves, I can see You." Izuku made sure to the point in her direction as he said that, slightly peeking through his hand, but only looking at her eyes.
"... What? Are playing some prank on me? I swear dude, that's not funny." Said the girl with a very confused and sad expression on her face.
Midoriya quickly release his hand from his face and turned his face torwards her in urgency. "No! I swear, I wouldn't lie about that, I wouldn't make fun of you, I Can see you!" He said while looking straight into her eyes.
It was only when Midoriya looked straight into her eyes that she even considered that a possibility. No one had looked into her eyes ever since she manifested her quirk all those years ago. She used to get very angry about that, people would always look at her clothes or general direction, her parents looked at the direction of her voice, so they generally looked her in the face, but even when some people coincidentally looked in the direction of her eyes, she could tell they weren't looking at her. There was something different about the way Midoriya was looking though, his eyes were fixed onto hers, not behind her, not on her gloves, she could tell he was looking at her.
It was only because she was so fixed into his eyes that she was also able to notice when he looked down for a fraction of a second and the immediately turned his whole body to the wall, looking extremely flustered. And when he did that, Hagakure immediately realized why he wasn't looking at her, she was in front of a boy, very close to him in fact, wearing nothing but gloves and boots.
Of course, the realization hit her like a truck, and she immediately started to feel her face heating up. "Y-y-y-you.... YOU PERVERT!" Was all that she could think of saying before she started to hit him on the back with the side of her fists. "You could see me this whole time and you didn't even think about warning me I was naked in front of you!?" She would normally feel pretty bad for hitting a boy in a hospital bed, but she knew Recovery Girl said he was fine. Besides, she was feeling way too flustered to think about that.
"I couldn't see you the whole time, I swear!" Izuku said while defending himself from hed strikes. "I only started seeing you when you tried arresting me during the fight, that's why I jumped back then! That's how I knew you were there!" Izuku's eyes suddenly shot open, and he started to unzip the top of his hero costume.
"G-Gyah! What are you doing!?" Hagakure jumped back at the sight of him undressing, her mind immediately thinking the worse.
"Here, wear this!" She opened her eyes to see the boy holding the top of his hero suit in his hand in her direction. His head was turned to the wall and his eyes closed. "I-I don't know if t-the others can see you as well, a-and you m-must be pretty uncomfortable there, so I thought it'd be b-better if you c-covered up" He said with a constant and intense blush on his face.
Hagakure immediately calmed down at the sight of that, there's no way this guy was actually perving on her this whole time, at least she hoped so. Deciding to not ignore his act of kindness, she quickly took the jacket from the boy and zipped it all the way up. It was kind of big on her, big enough to cover all of her private parts, at least. "T-thanks, um, the others couldn't see me, but yeah, I am p-pretty uncomfortable. Thanks. you can look now..."
Izuku slowly opened his eyes, for the first time, being able to calmly look at the girl. Her fair was fairly long, falling on her shoulders but standing up wildly, probably due to her not brushing it since she couldn't see it. It was this sort of yellowish-green hair, but what truly caught his attention was that it was kind of... glowing? Parts of her hair had this pink-ish glow to them, especially around the edges. Izuku quickly started to think of a million possibilities as to why that was, but he got distracted when he finally looked at her face.
Her eyes were blue and yellow, which beautifully complimented her hair, and her face was very soft looking. Her skin was very light, almost porcelain like, probably due to her not taking any light from the sun because of her quirk absorbing light. She had her head slightly down, looking extremely shy while she held the collar of Izuku's hero jacket. She was still looking at his eyes though. And for some reason, his heart skipped a beat when he saw her.
For a while there, he just looked at her, his mouth open in awe at what he was seeing. The fact he was looking at someone he had thought invisible up untill now was pretty wild in of itself, but the fact that she was so... perfect had him in an almost trance like state.
"Hey, this is pretty new to me too, but, c-can you please stop staring at me so much..." she said while started to move her eyes away. The greenette quickly jumped up after being called out.
"S-s-sorry! I didn't mean to, I was just surprised, is all." Said the blushing boy, currently trying to look anything except for the cute embarassed girl that was right next to him.
"H-hey... M-Midoriya" she said, making him look in her direction again, mustering the courage to ask the question that's been on her mind for the past 11 years of her life. "H-how do I-"
Before she could finish her sentence, the door opened up, revealing All Might and Recovery Girl, both with worried looks on their faces. "Ah, you already woke up, good, there wasn't really anything wrong with your sca-" Recovery Girl stopped speaking, noticing how the boy was for some reason, shirtless and looking extremely flustered, while the now previously naked invisible girl was currently wearing his jacket "are we interrupting something?"
"What?" Both teens said at the same time while looking at the short lady with very confused expressions on their faces, well, expression, she couldn't exactly tell what Hagakure's face looked like.
Recovery Lady couldn't help but sigh "it's nothing. Anyway, as I was saying, I didn't really find anything wrong on the scans we ran on you, and I was hoping, you woke up after only a few minutes. The girl here actually insisted on staying by your side because she thought it was somehow her fault you fainted, even though she could also swear she didn't even touch you." Hagakure blushed slightly at that. "I was hoping you could describe what happened to you back there."
"O-oh, okay. I'm actually pretty sure there were two reaons for why I fainted, both of them had something to do with my quirk." Said the holder of One For All, with a very serious look on his face while staring directly into All Might's eyes. "I-I don't know what happened exactly, but I started feeling a really strong headache and my eyes were sort of, burning? I closed them for a second, and when I opened them up again, everything looked kind of different. As for the second reason, well..." he paused and started to grow a very prominent blush on his cheeks. "When I opened my eyes I c-c-could, um, I could see H-Hagakure." Both of the teachers quickly shot up at that information. "A-And she was n-naked, a-and very c-close to me, s-so I just sort of... fainted." The girl once again blushed at hearing the boy adress the fact she was naked until a few seconds ago.
They stood in silence for a good 30 seconds, absorbing the information, before All Might started to speak. "So... does that mean you can...?"
"See her? Y-yeah, it's why shes wearing my c-clothes right now."
"Hmm, I see." Recovery Girl said while rubbing her chin in deep though. "A sudden development in your quirk that made your body react weirdly and suddenly seeing a naked person? Yeah that's probably enough to make a teenage boy faint." She finished with a light chuckle. The teenagers' blush got even stronger after hearing that.
"Well, since you don't seen to have any damage on you and the faint was mostly for psychological reasons, you can go back to class once you feel well rested." She started writing a note "if you feel like your quirk is going to be acting up again, you show this to your teacher and come back to see me." She handed him a note with permission to go to the nurse's office and her signature.
"T-thank, but I'll probably be fine" he took the note from her hands. "Hey, Hagakure, thank you for staying with me untill and I'm sorry for worrying you. Can you leave me and the teachers alone for a second? I need to talk to them." The boy sheepishly said, trying to look the girl in the eyes but getting distracted by the features of her face multiple times, which just made him end up looking at the window behind her.
"Oh, uh... sure." She started standing up. "I need to talk to Mr. Aizawa anyways, I'll go see what I can do about my hero costume, I can't exactly go back to wearing this one after today." She said with a very awkward laugh, looking straight at the floor.
"Oh, um, yeah, that makes sense." Said Midoriya, looking equally as flustered as her.
Hagakure quickly made her way across the room, bowing to her teachers before closing the door and heading torwards her the faculty room to look for Eraserhead.
After a few seconds, All Might turned to his protege "so, what did you want to talk about, Young Midoriya?"
"Its about One For All" the boy shot back almost instantly. "I... I talked to the other users, apparently One For All keeps a copy of their consciousness after its passed on. Oh, and, One For All doesn't only stockpile their physical strength and pass it on, it was also keeping their quirks this whole time. I manifested two of them today, and I'm going to manifest more as I get stronger."

"...What?"
