Summary
Stede hates himself. For wanting to touch Ed when he knows Ed would agree to it only out of a sense of obligation of repayment for the things Stede buys him. Especially for finding it hot that Ed's putting on weight eating all that food Stede gives him, given Ed is none the wiser.
Ed, for his part, is starting to find Stede's mixed signals hurtful. Getting off on getting fat with Stede's money is a pretty good distraction though...
