That’s how he ended up here, chewing his cuticles as he sat in his driveway at nine in the morning on the first of April, better known as April Fool’s Day.
It may sound insane, but he’d seen a post online about confessing your feelings to someone on April Fool’s Day so that if it went badly, it could just be played out as a prank. Chris had shook his head and muttered something Eddie couldn’t quite make out when he’d told him his plan on the way to school (Eddie didn’t want him taking the bus on April Fool’s Day, to which Chris had rolled his eyes at but got in the car nonetheless), but he’d still wished him luck, so that was something.
The plan was perfect.

Summary
Listen, Buck didn’t entirely expect to be closing the Nashville trip by yelling at his best friend to stab him with a fork in a random New Mexico diner, but here he is.
Yelling at his best friend to stab him with a fork.
“Put me out of my misery. Kill me Eddie! Kill me now! Why not!” The rest of the diner had fallen into a much more hushed chatter by this point, only the occasional scrape of cutlery against a plate or the door swinging open to signal yet another person’s exit to be heard.

What if Buck and Eddie weren't interrupted in the diner, and they talk about what Buck really meant by "put me out of my misery"?

“Ed- I-” His voice came out hoarse, likely from the screaming, and he knew he sounded like he’d been crying.

This is my take, it's messy, emotional, and a little painful.Natasha is traumatised and drowning in guilt from the Red Room. Wanda’s grieving Pietro and trying to survive all the trauma Hydra left behind. They’re both a bit of a wreck, honestly, and their relationship? Complicated as hell.
There’s love, trauma, healing (sometimes), breakdowns (a lot), and moments that’ll punch you right in the heart. But also soft stuff, fluff, and found family.
You’ll see a bunch of fan favourite characters too, some even get their own chapters and arcs. And yes, the ships are shipping because why wouldn't they be.

"Maria Hill. Do you know who I am?"
It's green. Her eye is green and it flickers around the room in a cat-like manner, surveying everything judgmentally.
Spit collects in her throat. For a split second, she doesn't know what to do. There's a fly circling her face. It lands lazily for a second on her nose and then sails onto it's next destination. The heat drowns out every single sound and makes the room feel as though it's closing in on her.
Maria is snapped out of her daze by the awakening of the small AC unit jammed into one of the windows. It hums back to life, spraying out cold air and she focuses her vision back on the woman, setting her keys down on the table to her right.
"How do you know my name?"
