"Liam... please" he said then in a whisper, as if he didn't really want to say it out loud and at the same time he couldn't help it.
Their lips were now definitely too close, only a few millimeters separated them and Theo only felt the urgent need to close that damned distance after the beta's words
"Theo... if you really want to do this shit, then we'll do it together, if you die, then I'll come with you"

“Because you are… you" Liam struggled to answer, his mouth dry.
“And what am I?” Theo then asked, tilting his head curiously
“You are…” Liam tried to say.
But all he saw were green eyes and messy hair and soft looks and kind words and if Liam thought he couldn’t defend himself before, now he didn’t even want to.
“I am…?” Theo then asked, apparently unaware of how quickly his mind was moving.
“You are…”

But he couldn’t tell him right? It would have been strange.

“A liar?” Theo suggested at that point "a manipulator? A bloodsucker?” he then hypothesized, a little amused, “your words, not mine”
Something inside Liam snapped violently because Theo was there and Liam didn’t care anymore.
"Probably" he replied then, his heart pounding "I don't really care right now"
A second later he was kissing him.

"Remember that day at the reserve, when we looked at the stars for hours?" he asked in a faint voice, his eyes turned to the cloudy sky outside the window.
Theo tightened his grip on the steering wheel, a wave of nostalgia washing over him “it’s been a long time”
“But… do you remember?”
Theo sensed all the uncertainty in that question, a vulnerability he hadn’t seen since they’d broken up.
“Yes,” he nodded, his jaw clenched “yes, I remember.”
Liam sighed, a phantom tension that seemed to leave him "me too."
It wasn't far to his house, maybe 10 minutes, and Theo couldn't ignore the feeling that everything was slipping through his fingers. Again.
"What else do you remember?"
