Anyways, the point is, Will thinks, that maybe his ghost roommate has escalated from small pranks and is actually now watching Will. Will supposes that's fine, but he does think that maybe it's a little perverted of the ghost to watch Will masturbate. Will trudges back into the house to wash his hands in the kitchen, crinkling his nose. He probably should be more upset about having a perverted ghost roommate, but sue him, he's lonely (and kind of horny).
Will dries his hands off on an old dish towel and resigns himself to spending the rest of the afternoon on the couch, lounging around and flipping through channels on the staticky box TV.
Maybe his perverted ghost roommate likes The X-Files too.

Mike spends most of the evening staring at Will. Will notices. Things escalate from there.

Summary
Will's breath hitches, his legs squeezing subconsciously around Mike's hips.
Well, Mike thinks it's subconscious. He feels one of Will's pinkies brush his hand too, but he could be imagining that one. He rests his forehead against Will's, and like clockwork, one of Will's hands reaches up to his cheek, holding his face tenderly. "Mike?" He calls again.
Mike takes a deep breath, wanting to melt into Will's body. "Can I-" he bumps their noses.
Will shuts his eyes, but not like he's waiting for something, more like he's closing off. He leans forward tentatively, kissing Mike's cheek. "Don't." He whispers, his hand coming to Mike's hair to run through it thoughtfully. "You should start growing this out again."
Mike's heart sinks. "What?" He whispers.

This is Mike and Will's last summer living in Hawkins. The party are slowly creeping towards real adult lives that feel too big and too daunting to one Mike Wheeler. Faced with the challenge of addiction, grief, and the proposition of a college he never wanted to go to, how will he find Will Byers again in the midst of it?
