Summary

Summary
Title is from a line in Shylock's speech in Act 3, Scene 1 of Shakespeare's 'Merchant of Venice'. (Crow Daddy himself quotes passages from this particular part of the play a few times in the 'Doctor Sleep' novel.)
*Dan, Rose the Hat, and Crow Daddy are a bit of an odd throuple, if you will, but damned if I'm not into it.
I'm mostly just diddling around with whatever ideas come to me in this AU-- not too many "plot" ideas. I'm guessing this'll mostly be vignettes and ficlets and such for a (self-indulgent) OT3.

The COI has moved on to attacks against whatever creatures inhabit AT-5 in desperate hopes that they will be able to synthesize food from the organic matter. Theo's objectives? Skewer whatever is down there, then die. His crimes? Learning too much and not keeping his mouth shut. As well as treason and murder, of course.
Theo accepted his fate. He didn't expect to make it out alive, somehow.
He certainly didn't expect to meet anyone.

Summary
Simon doesn't make it back to the recon point before his 30-minute time limit. After Ava is attacked, communication is severed between the two pilots, and Simon assumes she is dead. With the only one willing to bring him back up gone, Simon resigns to his fate in the depths.
Simon manages to escape the monstrosity lurking in the deep, but the SM-13 was damaged in the process. As the convict fights for his last moments of life against the rising blood and monstrous flesh growing on the walls of the sub, the radio crackles to life.

Ford's research is interrupted by his estranged brother showing up on his doorstep with a kid who claims to be time traveller. Summary
Out in the far country, there is an expansive plot of land set aside for a large farm. A sign at the entrance road reads: "Donquixote Family Farm." The farm is extremely well known for mass production of natural products, both crop and hybrid-made alike. It's owned by the Donquixote brothers- Doflamingo working finance and sales, and Corazon running crop care. Corazon's son, Law, is on hybrid duty most days, when he isn't exploring the nearby forest.
One day, the farm receives a shipment of bulls- two, hulking creatures, that Law is infatuated with at first sight. Doflamingo has plans for a live hybrid market, but Law only has plans to get closer to those attractive guys.

Maybe the man exists only in between sharp clicks of a radio button, between each "Ghost do you copy?" and "Copy that. Over." The more Soap talks to the mysterious someone, the more he realizes that Ghost is, in fact, a ghost - a phantom disappearing within the white noise of an old radio.

A bloodied, bruised but achingly familiar face greets him underneath and cusses him out.
“Could’ve warned a man at least yeah?”
“Johnny?”

Riding back home while on forced leave, Ghost becomes an involuntary participant of a chase.
Turns out that the biker that crashed is strikingly familiar.
Ghost and Soap are forced to work together even on leave to find out who tried to kill Soap, and perhaps Ghost enjoys that his days don't feel as dull as they did before.
