Hao forces a smile. “Good luck getting a boyfriend, Hanbinnie.”
“Come on,” Hanbin says, fingers curling until he’s lightly fisting Hao’s shirt. “We’re in uni now. I’m sure you want a boyfriend too, right? Let’s actually try and find partners and have the real uni experience. We can’t both stay sad virgins forever.”
“I don’t need anyone, because I have you,” Hao murmurs, bitterness slipping into his voice.
Living together means shared dinners, late nights, and a permanent spot next to each other on the sofa.
At least, that’s what Hao envisioned when he suggested it.Five times Hanbin chooses to go somewhere else, and the one time he finally decides to stay.

"Are you obsessed with me?" Hao asks casually.
"I’m not..."
"Nuh-uh," Hao interrupts coquettishly, shaking his head. "I think you hate that a hybrid outsmarted you. And I think you couldn’t stop thinking about me."
Hanbin's investigation into hybrid thief Zhang Hao spirals into fixation and obsession. After Hao humiliates him during interrogation, Hanbin installs hidden cameras in Hao's house, desperate for evidence against him. Instead, he discovers an attraction that eclipses his (not so) professional ethics.

Summary
A blush spreads across Hanbin’s cheeks. “You love cupcakes?” he repeats dumbly, legs doing that giddy little shake.
“Yes, I do. I want to eat you,” Hao jokes, and Hanbin instinctively backs away from his touch, teasing him.
The alpha freezes, alarmed.
“No, don’t eat me,” Hanbin says, covering his face with both hands.
“It’s a joke,” Hao rushes to clarify, and Hanbin bursts out laughing, loud and freeing, cutting through the tension.
“It’s okay. I know,” he says, still giggling. Oh, this alpha is going to be so much fun to tease from now on.
Hanbin and his friends, Matthew and Taerae, try to find the mysterious person who has been leaving secret gifts in his locker for a long time.

“I think that might’ve been when I fell in love.”
“With me?” Hanbin blurts out, her voice catching halfway through.
Hao laughs again, louder this time.
At her.
“Sorry, sorry,” Hao keeps saying between breaths, trying and failing to get herself together. Eventually the laughter settles into a soft giggle, and she wipes at the corner of one eye. “With the painting. I fell in love with your painting.”
Maybe the floor could open up now and swallow Hanbin whole. That’d be nice.
Hanbin, an art student, keeps losing focus in her life painting class because of Zhang Hao, the model she can’t stop looking at. The tension between them builds until it finally detonates into something more.

Sung Hanbin, in his loose white t-shirt, hanging off of his shoulder, revealing his collarbone and tattoo. Sung Hanbin, in too tiny shorts, that Hao had unknowingly picked out. Sung Hanbin wearing a pair of fluffy white cat ears, small white bows attached to either side.

Summary
Ever since Hao came to Korea a few years ago, Hanbin had become his best friend. Now, they're going to spend their last summer of High School together, alone at Hanbin's grandparents' old house. They end up in a tiny village, in the countryside of South Korea, where the unbearable heat burns almost as much as their untold feelings for each other.
This summer, their heartbeats loud in their ears, they're going to learn what they really mean to each other.
_____“Didn’t you like the freedom of school trips? The sights?” Hanbin asked.
“It didn’t really feel like freedom… I think… I think now is more like it. Maybe…”
Hao’s voice faded, quiet and shy in the darkness.
“Maybe you had to be here for me to truly feel free.”
