You and Stanford Pines have been divorced for nearly thirty-one years.

He wasn’t the worst man out there, no doubt. From what you can remember, he was good to you for a while. He was certainly better than the other two-month-long flings you had in drunken despair while searching for what he'd given you all those years ago. The older you got, the less you searched for love, and more for fulfillment--and bird-watching. Did I mention you have a pension for bird-watching? You went back to school, became a teacher in California, and worked at the same middle-school for twenty-eight years. However, when your two favorite twin students and niece, Melody, peer-pressure you back up to Gravity Falls, it turns out that what you tried to end back in '81 might be back to haunt you. Ford doesn’t get his morning coffee for his 2-week insomnia run. He panics. You come home. He’s angry, because he burned himself trying to make coffee that morning because you weren’t there. His routine got ruined, and he lashes out at you because now his whole day is ruined. What a big fucking baby. You pour all of the coffee beans down the drain in defiance. He walks forward initially with the intent of retrieving the coffee beans, but then his body just. Moves on its own. And then he’s kissing you and running his lips over every patch of skin he can find and he really just wanted you home. He really missed you.
