If Steve Harrington had once been the king of Hawkins High, then in theory, Elizabeth Montgomery could have easily been the queen.
His eyes darted from the rearview mirror to the road then to the time on his dash. It was 11:37pm and nearly pitch black on the side street with no lights to help illuminate the area. Steve sat, thrumming his fingers against the steering wheel, debating what to do.
"Why the hell are you out here so late, Montgomery?" Steve muttered to himself. There was no way he was going to just leave her out here. How could he? What, with all the batshit crazy stuff that has happened in Hawkins over the last two years. Yeah, no.
