Summary
Dust clouded the air, blood tainted the ground. Techno’s shoes were stable and secure. His steps faster than the wind, his weapon slick like a serpent. Before he even realized what was going on, the boy fell onto the ground unconscious.
Techno’s head got quieter, he took on the sight of his action and glanced at his twin, who was on the ground staring at him with wide eyes, trying to say something.
Techno broke the tension first
“Fuck, Phil is gonna be so pissed. We should leave him here.”Or
Techno finds a Tommy on the battlefield and "accidentally" stabs him so he has to take him home with him. Now the royal family has to deal with a traumatized child with memory loss who can be quite the murder weapon if needed. Will they reach an equilibrium with him or will Tommy's past reach them first?
This fic is both Tommy and Techno-centric. I hope you enjoy.

He had tried to force himself into her perfectly adjusted life, but only brought pain to the table and re-opened wounds already forgotten.
Yet, his soul was still in conflict, so much so that he ended up spilling in front of his wife, reassured by her presence.Once he had finally made his decision and cleared his heart, it was too late. Blackbeard was already long gone, only the ghost of his lips and the echoes of his laughter left behind.
So he decided to take a leap of faith and left

Absolutely well written, not only character-wise but also literary-wise, the choice if words was perfect in each sentence. Overall it was very soft and filled me with a warm fuzzy feeling, perfectly describing and developing the relationship between Olly and and Quifrey- everything felt natural
I've also really liked the choice of making the girls involved, and using that to lean into the flashbacks, alternating the POV to keep everything dynamic.
The girls were super cute and actually behaved like children which was very nice to see, found family's vibes all the way.Each moment had the right amount of time to breathe and the balance of the whole story was incredibly well done

It happens rarely that i read an AU so far off from the original source, but i did not regret getting out of my comfort zone for this one.
It was good. Like very good. It kept me on my toes throughout the whole thing, the mcd tag really scared me (especially since i hadnt noticed it when i started reading)
The dread of the situation they are is is well captured in the words, while also allowing each character's personality to really ahine through.
The soulmate part also thrown in there felt really natural to the story and its progression.
As usual i am so weak for the found family and the dadvid.
Read this like 3 times already, for comfort. -

This work took itself seriously, i wish i could kudos it multiple times. The relationship developed naturally and it was so in character. The more heavy themes were treated well and respectfully. The teasing, the bantering and their overall dynamic was perfectly written.
I would totally re-read this!

Absolutely magnificent. First of all, the humor is exactly like the show and so are the dialogues. It appeared as if i was watching an episode!
Truly a beautiful development with such an insight on their feelings. Evrything felt soft and lovely.
The clever way in which the author used the Captain's name without making up one!
Genuinely an incredible and captivating read, especially for people like me that enjoy the eternal pining and friends to lovers thrope.
